MizMyColi: Thanks Bro, I like that you felt concerned.
It might sound weird, and perhaps untrue, but I found most of his tirades funny. Literally funny. I giggled.
I knew it was an attempt to make me feel bad, but I figured that I have a right to choose what upsets me, and I have a right to walk away from negativity.
Unproductive arguments and diatribes have a way of draining my energy, so I steer clear.
One of my greatest strengths would be my virtue of Quiet-Strength. That I keep quiet and ignore doesn't mean I've been boxed in a corner.
I am guided by higher principles and I've learnt never to react out of pain...it doesn't always bode well.
There was a time I started replying their insults and I caught a revelation one day.... The words that filled my mind that day were life-changing.
I am a talented Wordsmith... I could take them to the cleaners, but what would change bro? Nothing really.
It's not always easy having to be the stronger and forgiving person.... But all in all, it's been rewarding.
Well people are looking out for their own recently so if I don't watch your back then I'll be doing a disservice to my people. You are welcome all the same. I quite admire your thinking and mindset, we are responsible for the way we choose to react to any circumstance (good or bad). We always have a choice to make at every point in time. The recent ethnic argument that has overtaken Nairaland is something I tried the best I can to avoid until this morning when I responded to a thread. I regretted afterwards and did end the impending argument immediately. You are right are such unproductive argument, it leaves one enervated. Yeah I know you are a talented Wordsmith, just like the son of mark and it's fun reading him watching him decapitate literally the people he's up against. On the other hand, what's the use when one feels bad after everything. What life changing revelation was it you caught? Do you mind sharing? It's ok if it's personal. |

Honestly I felt bad reading all those who are supposed to be future leaders. I was wondering how a person, no matter how lost he/she may be and with a warped mindset, could find fault in something as noble and patriotic as praying for ones country. I was dumbfounded, I was shocked. First thing that came into my mind was how would you be feeling seeing this enormous hatred been thrown at you. It's a pity, really. Anyway just like you rightly said, it's easier to take on such folks when you are self-possessed. I know you are not the one to cower at their bullying. They should bring it on any other day again I'll like to watch you take them to the cleaner. All the best sis. MizMyColi:

Thank You
As for the bashes and bashers, I actually do wish them well and pray that none of what they've uttered here follows them or their daughters.
It's easier to deal with folks like that when you're self-possessed and have a level of quiet strength going for you.

MizMyColi your intentions are good and noble but you've been bashed by some deluded people here. Sorry about that. Personally I'll never pray for Nigeria becos I think it's a waste of time but I join you in prayers for Nigeria just for today because you asked for it. |

If you've noticed I try as much as possible not to get into any ethnic confrontations so if this makes you sleep well at night then all the best. TonyeBarcanista: I don't know why some of you make mountain out of a molehill. Did I mention Isan/Esan? Does that mean they aren't part of the group? Didn't I mention Ika nation? Is Ika not part of Anioma? Should I mention all the over 40 nations to satisfy you?
As for whoever you think I didn't mention, I owe you no explanation Sir. Did you see monikers like Okotv and Nigerianvenom? Did you see Forwetinnah? Like I said, you make mountain out of molehill.
If this is what you call disrespect then I leave you with your opinion Sir. |

You were one guy I used to admire and respect in this forum but recently you've been able to corroborate with your threads the snapshots of your hatred for the Igbos which Jaybee3 posted. In your write up you tried as much as possible not to mention the Igbos who are in South South while mentioning other groups like Efik, Ijaws, Ogoni etc repeatedly like they never existed. My question is what happens to the Aniomas which are Igbos in Delta State (SS), the Egbemas, the Oyigbos Rivers State (SS) etc since you in your mind think there are no Igbos in South South and did the best you can to exclude them from your repeated list of ethnic groups in Niger Delta? You lost my respect bro. I also noticed you omitted Dearpreye in your mentions because he doesn't agree with you. Interesting TonyeBarcanista: This is not 'Barcanista's opinion. Help yourself with the materials attached to the original post. Please stop bringing emotional sentiments. Thanks |

Ok. Have a good day. Phinity318: All of u clamoring for biafra are jobless and don't have anything doing like Director.. those big players who have a stake and businesses spread across Nigeria knows the loss they will incur if It's ever happens.. reason why the clamour is from the bottom (low class ) and not the top. If u don't know the losses the igbos incurred after the civil war then read the aftermath of the biafran war. don't come here and start running ur mouth like u matter. cos ur opinion will start and end here online... and seun will push back this topic to the back (dust ) once new ones are created. last bullet: we are better off as one... make good of ur life and become relevant. |

I know your fears about a Nigeria situation happening in Biafra due to the populations of the Igbos. Talking about power rotation something was proposed at the 2014 national conference, I don't know if it was adopted, which is that power be rotated along the geo-political zones. What this means is that when it's time for any zone to produce the leader all the political parties must present someone from that zone. You are from Akwa Ibom which will definitely be a province in Biafra, if it's time for Akwa Ibom to produce the leader all political parties must choose their candidates from Akwa Ibom and then everyone from all other provinces will vote for any of them. So there's no case of Igbos subjugating others and ruling forever. All provinces will take turn to produce leaders. sparkleRed: Too many noise about biafra! Am from akwaibom, and i hope we re nt under dem anyway!
Becos after biafra how is power rotated, is it going to be concentrated with d igbos alone Biafra should come but let it be 4 d south east alone, cos d same marginalisation we re complaining of will happen in biafra as igbos will want to be like the Hausa-fulani. |

And you are who to tell the Igbos what to do and what not? Phinity318: Attention: Nigeria is one, It's high time the igbos realise the fact that we are an indivisible sovereign state. |

What's there to learn? You were in a hurry to make jest of Biafrans you didn't bother to read what you posted, you didn't bother to read why Catalonia succession was turned down and then relate it to the case of Biafra. Now that I've called your attention to you, I think you should go back to your post and read it. realnews: Biafra agitators should learn from this |

EUROBOMBER: These ogogoro drinking tree-jumping apes must be beaten into line. They are a very dumb set of people; dumber than camels.
When you hear them shouting at Igbos to leave their oyel you would think that nobody is touchinng the oyel but Nigeria especially the north has ravaged their ancestral lands and taking the same oyel from under their noses. If this is not dumbness I wonder what is. I understand your vexation but biko ka obi gi dajuru. Abeg |
