Sorry,I asked the question the wrong way. what i wanted to ask was the satellites trackable with 2.4m dish apart from the ones listed by sammu.

Finally Nailed nilesat with my 2.4m strong dish with the help of a friend and i was surprised i got more than i expected.
The signal for the strongest tps were hanging around 63-64% and stable.
i got CNN but it was cracking at 46% and BBc was crackin a bit but viewable.
During the night, the strong the tps went up as high as 72% but cnn & bbc were down.
Anyway, i just wanted to share my experience.
My next target is a microbox cos my friend said it could open some channels there.
Pls how much is the price of microbox?

I finally got my strong 2.4m dish and the other equipments for mounting the dish but installation is the only thing left.
Can i get any help from here?
I stay in Onitsha and i'm willing to pay a reasonable amount to anyone who can help install the dish for me.
I went to some installers here in Onitsha but they seem to have different opinions about the installation.
For instance, most of them were against motorising the dish cos its big while some are willing to take the chance.
Even the guy that sold the dish to me advised me to not motorise the dish.
From what i've read here, most guys motorised their dishes.
Why my own go come dey different?

George n Badaru u mentioned will never ignore such info on fta, especially things that may have negative effect on the long run,
A lot of people sells stuffs here without issues, even myself wanted to self my daarsat decoder sometime, but i realise its better to give to relatives than sell it off,
Anything relating to paytv that is not done through them directly could have effect in anyway, they are the operators and most of them don't give a damn on customers, expecially dstv, they employed good analysts who are working day/night in making sure they maximise return on their investment,
And if you must sell this card by fire by thunder, i advice you go to computer village or alaba, b4 u say jack, it's gone and enough money go dey your pocket to enjoy

Take a 2wks old 4669x to them and i bet the highest bid you'll get wouldn't be anything more than 5k.
I bought the card with my hard-earned money and instead of selling it off like that, i prefer to keep it or try my luck here.
A member in the fta equipment thread is selling his fairly used decoder for 12k while the new one is 14k.

He probably bought that decoder 17k and it came down to 14k.
I vaguely remember that a member(alancruise i think) wanted a dstv smartcard and i've recieved txts from some members showing interest.
Are they not fta enthusiasists?

If someone should mention on this forum 2 months ago dat dstv will get right to EPl, it’s d same na lie, we go talk…instead of trying to see if there is a % of truth in dat rumour.

Using dstv cards on other decoders that are not from dstv is not acceptable to them…so it’s possible for them to… it’s safer for dem to deactivate the cards that are not compliant…when you complain…then they advice you to go buy their decoder…

If you cannot do research and someone is hear giving back on what he got…is that a crime?
