was going to watch that. . . . . . . .
You really should, it's like those 90s teen films (eg She's All That), but for the 2010s generation. Mae Whitman as usual kills it, she's always good in everything I've seen her or heard her in (she was the voice of Katara in the Avatar: The Last Airbender and she's done a lot of voice work as well).

I just watched Season 4, Episode 3. The one with the Teddy Ruxpin. Don't know if you've watched it.

I love this show for the lewd jokes. grin
I've watched every episode. 10 year old Max was awesome. I was rewatching the latest episode. It's definitely a guilty pleasure, I never miss it.

I enjoyed In the Heart of the Sea, granted I didn't intend on watching it on general release, and only watched it 'cause it was a secret screening.

Dolphinheart, I can't really make a best list, since I honestly can't even remember all the films I've watched this year. I still have Sisters booked on Thursday, Joy booked on the 29th. But I'll definitely say my favourite spy film was Spy. That theme song stayed with me, that song should have been a Bond song.

Think i'm scared of your being a "mud"?

I've been active in the games section since 2005, when you were still crawling in your diapers with fellow rugrats being awed by your colorful Lego.

Search Neoteny and see for yourself.

I've survived Seun, I'll surely survive an insipid little upstart.

kikiki Lol, you dey mind the mumu ? Na who send am grin

but honestly, some game could get you so addicted that you'll completely live in it, hunger and time would mean nothing to you at that moment especially if you can't find yourself to pass a stage or finish the game.

I have a DVD of God of War, the guy practically played the game for 6year to complete all stage.
I'm not even going to lie, when I was playing Player Career on FIFA 14, I know I played division 2 season in less than one week, I played every single match for Plymouth, my guy was out for 4 weeks injury, he was still rated number 1. Na sleep, game, use toilet during loading, eat for my bed, continue, rinse and repeat. I think I only ate coco pops that week, no mess with powdered milk. The only good thing is I kept myself hydrated with water. In my defence work was quiet around that time, so no wahala, until I had work. See the way I abandon game, then went to work for whatever game I was testing that day. Dragged myself back home, played a match or 3. So, that guy they talk nonsense. I've gone to work way too many times with no sleep. Ok, that one is not always games fault.

Of all games to lose your job on, it had to be Fallout?

If it was GTA V I'd understand, I too almost lost my job for that (heists! Oh god!).

Unless of course it's all a publicity stunt by Bethesda to promote that long-winding, slow-burning rubbish of a wasteland trawling game.
Just say you don't like Fallout and move on. One man's food is another's poison.

Gaming › Re: Superman Vs Kratos Vs Goku Whowillwin? by cao(mod): 8:27am On Dec 22, 2015
Scarr, I'm going to blame autocorrect for "leech", because that visual made me laugh too much. Remember I'm abstaining, I don't see Kratos winning this, but I think people forget that Kratos was the youngest Captain in the Spartan Army, so he's not exactly dumb. Arrogant? Yes. Fuelled with rage & revenge? Hell Yes! Clouded by his guilt and need for revenge on the Olympian gods? Hell Yes!

Superman has gone through many varying levels of superness, thanks to different writers, originally he couldn't fly, he could jump really high and then fall gracefully/glide/falling in style. He was weak at night, then over the years everything kept changing. So he went from limited to unlimited to godlike and practically unstoppable.

I've only played Goku once in DB Xenoverse game, I had no idea what I was doing, plus everything was in Japanese, so you know - not a clue. I did beat the snot outta someone with him though, so that's a plus.

That's a very odd thing to say about your sister, but that one na your own wahala. The thing everyone is trying to point out is, just because you've an opinion about something doesn't mean you've to air it out. What you said was lousy and you know it. Etiquette, you're an adult, act like one. Sometimes folks like to forget we are all human beings behind are monikers, you won't pull this stunt if your boss was showing their wedding pictures and their spouse wasn't exactly a looker.

Anywho, congratulations to the married couple, may you have a happy & prosperous marriage.

TV/Movies › Re: Watching Movies/series With Subtitles Or Without Subtitles? by cao(f): 9:06pm On Dec 21, 2015
koice:
I can watch American or Canadian TV series without subtitles if I have to...their respective accents is very easy on the ears. Nasal, I know, but very articulate.

On the other hand, I find it very hard to follow Aussie & British Shows without subtitles. The regional dialects - Glaswegian, Newcastle and Merceyside - tend to be to much an uphill task to non-native speakers to fully comprehend. I get Cockney, I love cockney, but alas, the London dialect is becoming more and more scarce in British shows.

Aussie accent is a more nasal and subtle manifestation of the cockney variation. Sound lovely to the ears, but more than likely, you would find yourself looking to the subtitles to help you come to terms with their funny pronunciation of simple English words - Eg 'Day' which is pronounced like 'die'... lolz.

Anywho, I don't fancy watching English speaking movies & TV series without subtitles these days. Make things easier and more convenient to take in... more or less.
You never hear concrete American redneck accent, by the time you clean your ear finish, you go still deaf. As for the British accent, picture this, last year the BBC used subtitles in their Countryfiles program for one old Irish man, and the Irish complained, I watched the clip, I did not understand one lick of what the man was saying. I was wondering whether I didn't know the English language. Those subtitles were my lifeboat, I was the Titanic, baba was the iceberg.

Let's not even talk about slang, we're used to American slang because we watch American tv, I may reside in England, but I don't know what slang mandem are using & I don't intend to start.

These SoBs should be tried for treason with a death penalty for them and their underlings. Every single one of them, they're all rotten to the core. Alas, the status quo will probably remain & we Nigerians will just keep suffering & smiling.

I won't mind a Matrix reboot. Although, that Neo game was intense on your hands. I remember OPS2 doing a short piece on the game. They basically had a picture of one of the staff's hands exhibiting the 'claw'. I'll never forget that picture. Maybe, I'll find a pic of it online when I get back home.

If it's a foreign language film, I prefer subtitles to dubs. Sometimes I use subtitles in some series, once in a while, you get additional dialogue.
