from my own little knowledge about the institution....I wil say YES, @least they av some 9ice laboratories and workshop with good facilities and equipments....and 2 add to it....some well respected Prof's and Dr's in the society. (2)They admit from all 36states....Once u av a very good score...though they pay more attention to students from kwara state and their catchment areas....but if u av a very good score...u will be admitted even though u are not from the state nor catchment area. (3)Don't know w@ u mean by recent oo but d department came into existence in year 2008.....and from 2008-2014....that s 6years.....and 2 me that s not recent because some1 that gained admission 2 study Engine then would av graduated and a baby that was born then would av finished with his/her primary education....Mechanical,Electrical,Civil engineering are as old as the institution itself....so Chemical engine might b recent as u said but the Faculty of Engineering is not
thanks, I appreciate.. |

chisombenedicta: its okay jare OAU don't need pple lyk U!xo find ur way awtimela Nwanne.......***Claps for her*-**** |
EINSTEINPG: I agree with you bro. To publicly change your mind about your ideas is a sign of strength than a sign of weakness. It takes more courage to change one's ideas when confronted with counter evidence than to hold fast to one's ideas.Ehm, is UNILORIN good for engineering? |
ayokunlei: congrats!!!is unilorin good in Engineering ? Does the school admit Tarabians?? I heard chemical Engineering there started of recent.... do the hostels look manageably good? |
Muyogoa: why are you in a hurry to get degree?so u fancy a "chameleon-like" calendar? |
then why does OAU have a. slow calendar ![]() |
mesoade: No,thanks, is Uniben fast I mean in academic calendar |
Is Uniben calendar fast? |
Does Uniben require further maths for chemical Engineering o'level |
dora7891: I get u and yes dats what it means.... d calenda is out we resume hopefully (if they dpnt close the sch again) nxt yr may 3rd... and students dat apply for the comin jamb will resume January 2016hmmm maybe I'll have to consider Uniben more...Anyways thanks for ur attention |
dora7891: becuz even tho d strike is off it has affectd us.. first yr peeps dat wer meant to resume last yr sept are now resumin dis yr... so we hav 2 wait 4 dem to finish b4 we can come inwait a min, does that translate to d fact that u guys will resume next year Does that mean that students that will apply dis year will resume in 2 years? u get me? |
Homguy: that slow calendar you are crying about is just one of the sacrifices student pay to make the school outstanding and attendable by both the privileged and the poor. Every one is equal in OAU, no rich or poor. You will survive one way or another. While there I sometimes had a meal of 50 naira as at 2012, 2013, 100 naira meals from new buka would make sure you don't go to bed hungry. No fight whatsoever is tolerated, Cultism is a taboo, hence I walked to the hostel 3am daily with my Gf without harassment. Alota of places and crevices to relax. Paroles are enough and cheap if you know your game. Venues are everywhere. Pls, if you can attend this sch pls do. I just had to stop typing. You'll be glad you did. GREAT IFE! GREAT! There's only one great ife in the universe, another great ife is a counterfeit, GREAT!GREAT!!GREAT!!!but I heard the issue that caused the last strike has been resolved, why then are u guys still at home? |
Is Uniben good in chemical Engr ![]() 2015 aspirant... how fast are the sessions? hope they don't go on strike unnecessarily? I need answers plsssss |
I wanna apply to OAU chemical Engineering but I need to get some questions answered first. 1)I have so many times been told that oau easily goes on strike and the academic calendar is slow. Is this true What are some reasons why it is so?2)You guys that have been admitted this year, have u resumed school ![]() pls I need answers, a soft-hearted individual can kindly help me out I beg .. |

GeneralShepherd: write gre try go America.I graduated from FUTO if I knew what i know now back then i for no near that schoolpls tell me more about futo... I wanna apply... I don't wanna regret |
ba7man: Oh yes, the school's engineering programs are good. But I heard they like going on strike easily, what re the reasons for this?? |
ba7man: Hmmm....@Okija juju's pics didn't do justice to the environment. It would have been better if he walked round taking the pics.Does OAU have chemical Engr ![]() is the school good in engineering? |
