No he is not a bad player individually but anyone with the mind of a coach knows he unbalances the Liverpool team which is based on 3 robust CMs all equally hardworking and fairly creative who sit deep and allow their wingers to play in a traditional 4-3-3. He is a pampered AM who wants two midfielders behind him and to be the centre of attention when Liverpool game is about getting the ball quickly to the wings for Salah to isolate the fullback rather than for an AM to be touching ball upandan. How Capaldi missed this shows he no know ball. That's why I reduced Liverpools chance of winning the league, just based on the addition of Wirtz alone. He actually weakens them, until the day Salah leaves the club and they change approach from wings to AM.

The fact you attribute their current performances to the addition of Wirtz proves you are just a waffler. Even in games he has been benched they have just been as terrible in midfield. You are mixing things up and just adding irrelevant points to the discussion. You said Palmer was the reason we have dropped off this season and I said even with Palmer last season we were just as bad. From January to early April our play was terrible. Our late run to make top 4 and the club world cup final masterclass is what's giving Maresca a vote of confidence right now.

We have been playing poorly even with Palmer. From January till about April our game play severely degraded. The club world cup Is the only reason Maresca still have credit in the Bank.

If you have been following our transfer strategy nowadays, you won't even say what you just said above. If the board wanted to sign Xavi in 24 hours, they would have done so sinceeeeeeee.

Aside from Nkunku none of the players we have sold this summer have been consequential to our FFP issues with Uefa. Most of you are just blind to the facts.

Our signings have also been mediocre while we have allowed our rivals to get stronger by stacking up huge talents. Garnacho and Gittens are side steps from Madueke and Sancho,none of them raises our level. Delap and Joao Pedro are decent at best none is world class or have world class potential.

Tuchel system never needed an elephant like lukaku and no, he wasn't having a good season. He scored 4 goals in First three league games and then didn't score for the next 7 while stinking up the place and pointing to be passed the ball in impossible positions. Even before we went for him I could tell he was going to be a bad signing despite others being blind and calling him world class.

Fofana has nothing to do with Tuchel. We have been scouting him way before Tuchel was even hired and he only gave his approval. Lukaku as well was another board signing that was a huge mistake.

I don’t think so, bro. With the arrival of Xavi Simons, I believe Palmer won’t be played centrally as much. Maresca will most likely stick with him on the right wing, where he was most effective last season. Neto and Estevão might get chances, but probably more in rotation or against lesser teams. Palmer’s consistency and creativity from the right is too valuable to shift permanently.

Having Palmer dictate play from midfield is honestly a waste of his attacking abilities.
He’s far more dangerous operating closer to the final third, where he can directly influence the game with goals and assists. His instinct and creativity shine best in the attacking zones, not deep in midfield.

He never dictates play from midfield, he is not a True number 10 like Wirtz or even Simmons that we are getting. His best position is on the wings which is why we should get Xavi by all means.

Still not sold on any of our strikers for next season. Jackson honestly shouldn’t even be at the club. Joao Pedro’s ball striking and goal return are mediocre and while Delap’s finishing is decent, it’s nothing to get excited about. Schick is right there for £30M.
