Is Carrick not seeing that this game needs injection of pace?

Amad needs to come on in this game. I dont want to lose trust in Carrick oo.

Casemiro misplaced 23 passes. Bruno misplaced 18 passes. Dalot misplaced 11 passes. Those were the 3 players in double figures. Very carefree in possession.

I was shocked because the match I watched Casemiro was misplacing passes every other time

I dont like Arsenal, but honestly it will be fantastic if they beat Chelsea today to create a 6 points gap. I don’t trust these our players.

Running on fumes? With 1 game per week? Hmmmn we need to revamp our midfield. Todays poor performance was mostly down to Casemiro and Mainoo misplacing passes

They started the game as if they expected Crystal Palace to capitulate easily.

Maybe they have been hearing that Palace are in chaos and must be tired since they played midweek, and they believed the stories and came in for a jolly good time.

Questionable mentality and discipline.

Even with 10 men, Palace were still threatening at Old Trafford.

A win against a poor Palace team that played on Thursday. Its a very very poor performance. A win but I see problems. Hope Carrick arrests these poor showings.

Since Dorgu went injured we lost momentum now you are benching Amad who is bringing something similar. Our best starting XI was the one that started against City and Arsenal. In those games we pressed well

He had injury issues that I suspect were linked to a growth spurt. He is now about 6”2 and very quick.

He actually made his Under-21 debut last season at 16 before he had ever played Under-18. Hopefully he is past his injury woes.

I just watched a few clips of him now. The boy is actually good we need to develop him properly.

I think is too early concluding Carrick is the right man for the job.l feel he is going to do wonderfully well till end of season.If he is retain next season will be the real test.Moyes was tactically better yesterday.He practically render our midfield useless.The way Cuhna was marked yesterday made me remember Herara(nt sure spelling is right) on Hazard during Mourinho stint with us.

We missed Dorgu who always stretch the opposition with his work rate before Cunha enters in the second have. Dorgu, Shaw, Amad and Dalot inverts very well that is why Bruno has the freedom in our first few matches.

And we also miss Martinez. In our Match against Everton Line breaking passes responsibility was left for Mainoo and Casemiro in the second phase yet they are no where near Martinez who does it at first phase and expertly too.

I like the tactical reading of Carrick and his team. If given the opportunity to find the right more available fit they will do well. I am not saying they should hire him though

I think the club is doing all they can.

He starts most games and is one of the least rotated of the players.

The 1st team coaches including Carrick attend most of the games if there is no fixture clash letting him know they are watching closely and have interest in him.

He has been called to 1st team training several times to allow him get a feel for it.

The next thing is to give him a debut as soon as he is legally able to, which will be at the start of next season. He will most likely go on the tour with the 1st team and get a league debut early in the season. He might still spend most of the season in the academy but that senior debut and modern Man Utd record is a must for him and his dad.

The club might also be sorting his dad privately but that is another matter.

Excellent , i can guarantee you that if is City they will keep him

I think the major issue is that the boy himself seems to be a Barca fan. He is a Messi/ Neymar/Yamal fan.

He is also a Nike Ambassador and those ones have been doing kurukere moves to get him to Barca.

So how do we keep him, at least till we are able to sell him for a huge fee and reinvest. Afterall VVD is a man utd fan but ended up at Liverpool

It's how to keep him away from the other academies that are circling around like vultures that is the Koko now. Then there's the issue with his dad. I hope the stories I heard about his old man are just baseless rumors.

If the dad wants money. Give him. Thats how to secure talents. These kinds of players are rare to find. City Paid Haaland father same thing Barca did for Yamal father.

Daniel Armer. Very good passer and reads the game well. He is left footed unlike Maguire but unfortunately you are right that he is slow like Maguire. He was also not physically strong last season but he has put on muscle this season and is much stronger.

His lack of pace probably means he won’t make it here. He has everything else. The same issue with his partner Mills.

The most complete CB in the academy currently is Ngwashi but that one is a doctor. I have not seen any major weakness in his game but he appears only once in a blue moon.
