I understand your reservations about him, and its justified at times, but he is a young player that just came from relagation battlers in Seria A. With the right coaching he will be a monster. We are looking at something closer to Nuno Mendes.

I am for allowing young players to thrive low key without pressure until they reach like 24ish, thats when their true potentials show. Ofcourse there are outliers but those ones are very few and rare, and even in many cases taper out before they reach 28. Look at Delle Alli, Rooney(I am very harsh here though), Rashford, Owen etc
