For 6th in the premier league to get UCL Villa need to finish 5th. The extra UCL slot is for the hishest ranked EPL team that didnt qualify for it. But if Villa finishes 4th or above and wins the Europa. Another Association will be upgraded into the Play off spots.

So the Europa winner slot belongs to Villa.
The extra Coeffiencient spot belongs to EPL

Casemiro is one of the main reason why we didn’t win this game. He dallies on the ball too much and he has no more energy.

When we scored the second goal. They quickly made a change which gave them more energy. That was when Carrick should have made the changes. They used the superior energy they had to get the equaliser.

He makes a good point. It is not really about Man United culture but about the expectations and culture in any big club. The pressure and change in expectations often drowns people who are not used to it. Look at Frank at Spurs and the way he quickly unraveled just from the step up from Brentford to ordinary Spurs.

I do not want any of these managers who are overperforming at small clubs. Most of them can't handle the step up. There are many variables to succeeding at a club like Manchester United. Lets eliminate the variable of "adapting to big club expectations and culture".

All these hipsters fancy name coaches are almost guaranteed to fail at man united. Only World class coaches can succeed at Man utd or Former players who are young and just decent like Ole or Carrick. Madrid and Barca always do this Former young players or outright world class. Xavi, Arbeloa, Alonso, Zidane, Solari, Guardiola and Enrique. Or Long term Assistants at the club like the late former Barca coach. The trajectory is very clear now so many traditional clubs are following this method now. Look at inter with Chivu, Milan brought back Pioli, Juve have Spalleti, Napoli has Conte.

No one is even talking about the real issues- we can’t progress the ball from the back without Lisandro and have no width on the left
The drop off in performance is primarily down to those two factors

We dont even have any widht at all left or right.

We can only start playing a bit better when Martinez and Dorgu returns. Till then we will struggle all through. We need Villa to continue dropping points now. Because With these performances. I think we may likely finish below Chelsea and Liverpool.

No sensible person will play Ugarte. Carrick has failed trial. Ugarte should be sent to reserve team.

Playing Ugarte is not even as atrocious as bringing Malacia. When I saw Malacia I was shocked.

Sesko and Amad are not fighting for the same position. It's Amad v Mbeumo

Its simple na. Mbeumo who was benching Sesko was moved to the right wing to replace Amad to create space for Sesko.

The long and shot of this whole thing is Amad is nkt supposed to be Benched. If Dorgu is available then fine, Amad can come from the bench. The starting XI in the last 2 games is bad. We play too narrow.

I said during the last match i waa told i was reactionary. Our best starting eleven is the one we started with against Arsenal and City. With Dorgu and Amad stretching the width.

I have nothing against Sesko, but bringing him into the game and benching Amad the only player that can take on a defender is very very wrong. Even if we are to bring in Sesko, Mbeumo is the person that is supposed to be benched. The last Match that Sesko satrted he even scored in the 76th, so still the same thing.

Is Carrick not seeing that this game needs injection of pace?

Amad needs to come on in this game. I dont want to lose trust in Carrick oo.

Casemiro misplaced 23 passes. Bruno misplaced 18 passes. Dalot misplaced 11 passes. Those were the 3 players in double figures. Very carefree in possession.

I was shocked because the match I watched Casemiro was misplacing passes every other time

I dont like Arsenal, but honestly it will be fantastic if they beat Chelsea today to create a 6 points gap. I don’t trust these our players.
