Thats what Patrick didnt understand i didnt say he is not correct about people hyping Sancho. The issue is some unexpected events happened, With Ronaldo and Cavani locking up the CF position leaving the 2 guys to compete for the available space. I know ole is funny at times but Sancho not holding down his preferred RW position is not down to the manager. I will however agree that olesexuals overstretched the Sancho's importance to protect Ole as usual. Moreover we need depth, Greenwood will not play all the matches, he is mot a robot

Ole fans attributed our struggles to breakdown stubborn defenses to the fact that the Glazers didn't buy Sancho and that all our attack was from the left side of the pitch. With Sancho now here and even for the amount we paid, isn't he supposed to at least have been tried out in that RW position? Remember it is well documented that our RW and DM were areas we need to strengthen and for the RW, Sancho was signed but baba has hardly ever drifted to the right and even then, it does not look like he is better than Greenwood so, what problem have we solved with his signing? An option on the bench? We will accept to sit for a long stretch when Rashford is back and firing?

We all know that when we find our rhythm, Ole will hardly ever want to change things. Time is running out for Sancho...

As it stands even Greenwood will not get a sniff in that CF position with Ronaldo and Cavani there and both were unexpected arrivals and both really lived up to there reputations.
The reason we are having this discussion is because Greenwood got shafted to the RW, and eventhough he is not a natural winger like Sancho, It will take an extraordinary turnaround for Sancho to displace him, he is a nailed on starting XI.
Sancho is very important IMO, believe me he will come good. he will serve as a cover for both Greenwood and Rashford, they will not play all the matches, he will start sufficiently.

Even if Greenwood will play CF it will not be this season, with Ronaldo and Cavani. Even though Greenwood is not a natural RW, if you are Solskjaer between him and Sancho who will you start under normal circumstances?

Nothing like tactics, Sancho will be fine, he is a good footballer he will eventually find his feet. But he might not be as good as you may think he is. Dont lift your hopes too high

I dont have anything against Sancho, but I watch him regularly at dortmund, he thrives when he has acres of space, he struggles at NT whenever England meets any team that employs low block, 80% of United games will see these types of teams especially as we ussually concede first. I expect him to struggle initially that was why i disliked that "record signing" tag that we was about to take.
I personally will give him time, however, Ole doesn't have time, Rashford will return and Rashford bang in goals and assists sufficiently and he wont bench Greenwood. His time is now or never.

Rashford is a competent Attacker, forget people lashing at him. There are no many players in his group that are better than him. Check his G/A rate in the last 2/3 years they are elite level. This season is tight if Rashford returns he will slot back to the first eleven effortlessly and with the current happening he will bench Sancho if Sancho dont quickly start producing. Ole trusts Rashford and we all know Ole doesnt like radical changes
