Celebrities › Re: How Did Peter Okoye’s Retweeted Post Mock Victims Of Oyo Kidnapping? by CaptainGo: 2:31pm On May 30 |
Penguin2: One thing I have noticed about Tinubu supporters, especially most of those of his ethnic stock, is the fact that they would rather look for silly things to diffuse attention to rather than say the truth and hold government accountable.
Since the Oyo kidnapping happened, not once, I mean, not once has this people called out the government for its failures. For heaven’s sake, even in our constitution it is stated there that the primary responsibility of government is security. It is when people are secure that you will build infrastructure for them. It is a secure people that will stay alive to enjoy the benefits of a repositioned economy; since that’s the only thing Tinubu supporters have accepted he achieved.
However, rather than hold Tinubu accountable for failing on this basic task of ensuring security for his own kit and kin, his supporters are rather looking for who posted what, and who retweeted what?
And I ask… the posts you are vituperating about, are they wrong? Or you simply hate hearing the truth?
Now, to the post you people are saying it’s mockery of Oyo kidnap victims, how is it mockery because I can’t see it?
Peter Okoye simply made a post recognizing people’s right to choose their preferred candidate to vote but stated however, that everyone will be held accountable for their choices and that choices have consequences.
Now, someone responded in agreement to him and attached the pictures of the Oyo Kidnap victims plus other victims of mass slaughter by bandits as a direct consequence of the choices some people made in 2023.
Now, I ask, where is the mockery?
Is Peter Okoye wrong to state that choices have consequences?
Or the respondent who attached pictures of victims of banditry wrong to attach those photos as a direct consequence of the choices some of you made in 2023? Is it not?
We had different candidate who dwelt heavily on how he was going to end insecurity and ensure that every inch of Nigeria is accounted for but you dismissed him and went for someone who didn’t even say anything about what he would differently from the Buhari administration regarding insecurity.
Now, people are telling you that everything that has happened in this country since Tinubu was sworn in 2023 and the things happening now, are all direct consequences of the choice you made in 2023 and you dare call it mockery?
Is it mockery or you’re just too dishonest to accept the truth and make amends?
And what I find most heart wrenching is that Obembet who made that post is supposedly a MOD on this platform which is pathetic.
I will conclude with this…. In 2014, prior to the 2015 general elections, over 200 children were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State. Tinubu, Buhari and all their lackeys championed the “Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG)” campaign against the Jonathan government until it became a global phenomenon drawing the attention of Michelle Obama and other American celebrities.
Was that act mockery of the Chibok girls or genuine outrage and desire for a change of administration to someone who could do better? So because the person that was killed is Yoruba, you guys concluded he voted for Tinubu hence deserves to die. God will judge all of you. And may you live forever. |

Ofunaofu: This is selective justice.
We have a man who forged certificates, claimed to have worked with Deloitte, which was debunked, claimed to have attended a school and obtained a certificate from it four years before it was even established, now sitting pretty in power, inflicting untold hardship, hunger, starvation, worsening insecurity, and constant electricity blackouts, all in the name of governance. Ebawaters: I Have been dating this girl for 5 months now, before i met her she was using an itel tourch light phone. I promise to get her a smart phone which we could use on Whatsapp because buying of airtime to communicate is too costly.
I felt maybe getting her a phone would kill boredom. After closing from work and on weekends she has something that will keep her busy.
Before buying the phone i thought she is that calm and responsible girl and giving me the girlfriend vibe though we have not slept with each other.
I bought her a brand new redmi phone on 2nd of April. But since i got her the phone she has changed drastically.
What she's posting on her WhatsApp status want to give me heart attack. I just new this girl didn't like me at all. I decided to test her. I called her a day before yesterday that am low on airtime, that she should help send me 200 airtime to buy data to open my bank app to do some transactions.
This girl said she didn't have 200 naira. She's looking for money to buy data for herself. In the next 2 hours i saw her online this the same girl that told me she didn't have at all. Omo i have spent for this girl. I love her. I think it is time to move on and count my loss. You see women matter count me out. She doesn't care i have been dating myself all along. You just dey find free bashing today? Anyway, fake story. But if true, you suppose collect oraimo cord for neck! |

onatisi: It is left to the opposition to decide whether to give him the ticket or not . He is in a very strong position now due to the complete stuupidty of the man in power . I would have preferred a younger and more radical person . His choice of vice presidential candidate may however cover up for his age disadvantage What should the man in power have done differently for you not to call him "Stupid"? I'm actually curious. |

Estello: According to Peter Obi "The government should ensure the protection of the opposition, in fact, they should make the opposition stronger."
They say he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
This is a video of Labor Party members complaining of the actions of the then Anambra state governor, Peter Obi
Obi is a hypocrite. That's the reason I stopped supporting him. He has hoodwinked the gullible ones with his theatrics. I have seen Jagaban's hand via his reforms. These reforms are painful today, but will lift our nation in the long run. On his mandate I stand. |

Fubara should fight with all his got. Luck is on his side since the election is not off cycle election.
In general governorship election federal might has little or no effect on its outcome.
Fubara be a man and leave apc for tinubu.
tinubu is seeking reelection at 90+ but does not want a young man like Fubara to seek reelection.
No be juju be that. E no shake anything. Random lucky guy wey ride on Obi's wave to win election. No political weight or relevance. |

Dreal1247: Says the most clueless President that ever ruled Nigeria. And from the look of things, he has either forgotten or doesn't know that he is a monumental failure. Scoring 5% is unacceptable. This man just imposed himself on Nigerians to waste tax payers money and empower people with questionable character against competence. All and sundry should join hands to get him retired. He didn't impose himself. I didn't vote in the last election. Next year, I'll travel to my village and vote for him. Una go cry tire! He is a reformer, not a populist. And he will win by a landslide next year. |

AMINDA: He lost to Obi in his backyard in Lagos. He is only president today because the North made him so with their votes.
He's building houses for judges and giving lands out to INEC officials. Is that part of the loopholes created by the opposition? Did this loopholes exist when others were president or they suddenly manifested during his regime? In his first election, Obasanjo lost all of South West to Falae. End SARS, currency redesign, and Muslim-Muslim ticket affected Tinubu's performance in Lagos and most parts of the south. But he has gained grounds since assuming the presidency. He will clear all of South-South, South West, and Middle-belt. He will perform excellently in the South East this time. He will sweep the North and shock naysayers like you. Let Obi go and win Lagos again in 2027 na. Times have changed my brother, stop playing ostrich. |

Their aim is to die in power, you think Tinubu is like OBJ?
Even before Tinubu became president, almost everything I said about him if he eventually becomes president has come to pass, do you people ever learn?
It is comments like yours that makes me give up more on the unity of Nigeria, do you people ever learn? Tinubu is doing exactly what any well-meaning president would do. He is a reformer, not a populist. The reforms he has undertaken are painful but necessary. I have no regrets supporting him. Everything you said about him in the past was out of naivety, sentiments, ignorance, and pointless hatred. And nothing has changed about you. That person you want to be president, will never smell that seat. Have a good day my friend. |

AMINDA: Even your tin-god is no longer counting on winning at the ballot, he wants to use federal power and institutions of state to preselect the opponents he will face at the polls. Not going to happen. Tinubu has never lost an election he ran. Your corrupt SPV god has been trying to be president since 1992. After 2027, he will finally retire to his beloved Dubai. Tinubu is the greatest politician alive in Nigeria. He does not take opposition for granted no matter how small. If you create loopholes in your smelly coalition of confusion, he will exploit it and show you guys pepper. Cry from now till tomorrow, emotions do not change fact. |

Brendaniel: Same thing some people must have been saying when Paul Biya started what Tinubu is doing now, it is over 40 years, yet they are all still blaming opposition till date for failure to remove him... Tinubu cannot do more than 2 terms. You know it. First, the constitution would have to be amended for that to happen, secondly, old age has caught up him. Obasanjo did not succeed with his tenure elongation plan, Tinubu also would not . Even his supporters would turn against him if he ever nurses such ambition. That said, if Tinubu is fit and runs again in 2027, he will win flawlessly. You guys can rest with all this conspiracy theories. |

Politics › Re: How Tinubu Won And Lost The North By Salihu Tanko Yakasai by CaptainGo: 9:23am On Apr 09 |
AMINDA: Lol. I just hope Tinubu has better advisers on Northern matters than yourself. Elrufai's contribution to Tinubu's victory transcended his ability to make Tinubu win Kaduna state. Elrufai wasn't on the ballot, Tinubu was. Tinubu was on the ballot in Lagos but couldn't win the state which he governed for 8 years and his state of origin, Osun State but let's crucify Elrufai for not having the ability to market alcohol in the middle of Mecca. Tinubu got 400k votes in Kaduna, Atiku (a Northerner), won the state with 500k votes while Kwankwaso (another Northerner) got 150k votes. Obi cleared all of Southern Kaduna votes but that only translated to just over 200k votes. Fastforward to 2027 and Elrufai, Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso are in the same party. Do the math! You don't know better than Tinubu that is fighting tooth and nail to ensure that he does not have to face any opposition at the ballot. Now, that's how you analyse politics. Relax, 2027 is around the corner. You can play ostrich or drown in wishful thinking all you want. Your emotions would not change obvious facts. |

lapintoz: The same way OBJ lost the north after his 1st term in 2003. By refusing to do the bidding of the northern oligarchs only. By insisting on allowing development and government appointments to reach all the 6 geopolitical zones in reality and not on paper.
Same thing PBAT is doing with his 1st term.
Please tell the northern oligarchs to wait for their time in 2031.
Kindly take the message back to the sender. This is one detail I keep forgetting. Buhari swept the core north in 2003 but didn't get the spread or numbers to win it. |
Politics › Re: How Tinubu Won And Lost The North By Salihu Tanko Yakasai by CaptainGo: 3:05pm On Apr 07 |
AMINDA: His defeat in the North started from the day he betrayed Elrufai. All those who deceived him to do away with Elrufai because of 2031, promising they can deliver the North, are now nowhere to be found. Where is his heir apparent, Ribadu? Lessons. They are now desperate to run unopposed because going through the ballot is apparently no longer a feasible option. El Rufai was most relevant in the build up to the election. However, in the election proper, APC lost Kaduna in the Presidential election, lost numerous National assembly seats, and very narrowly won the gubernatorial election. Or you want to pretend you don't know how much he is despised especially in southern Kaduna? APC will perform way better in Kaduna come 2027 than they did in 2023. You can bookmark this. |
