If it is 1% or 0.01% for those with small capital who grew their account then it is 99% for those with large capital who blew their account. Does the math make sense to you? I have read how people blew 5, 6 figures account. I have seen people deposit 10 or 20 dollars to make 300% of their investment, withdraw the profits and repeat. Google the people who lost mega sums in trading including hundreds of millions of dollars to a billion dollars trading. Your 1% and 0.01% is in denial of reality.

I hope you read about the Nigerian man who committed suicide after losing billions of naira in forex trading. In contrast, you must have heard about the guy called Alex who flipped $100 to $1,000,000 in less than hundred days. Capital is important but does not make you a better or worse trader.

Before I knew it, Deriv sent me message.

I say ah...maybe na Congratulatory message.

I check am, I see "you have passed threshold bla bla bla"

Before I say make I blink my eye once.

All my $11.8 don clear.

I no see am again.

Omo... everything happened so fast.

HFM was founded in 2010 and I joined them in 2012. Well if there is anything I don't know concerning their services, then it's ok. If they pack up from the business now, then they have tried enough. Many brokers did not last half a decade.
I wouldn't know your issues with them but your opinion is respected.

Till date, he has refused to mention the issue responsible for his allegation against HFM. I expected him to shed more light on the issue so people may form their conclusion whether his allegation is baseless or sound. Nothing of sort. I don't take posts like his seriously.

Now you believe Kemi Badenoch when she said the police and justice system in Nigeria are rotten. Imagine a judge who is meant to be a custodian of justice shamefully acting as a puppet of corruption.

That is not true. HFM is one of the best brokers on the planet. I know because I have been using them for years. They may not have the best competitive spreads but they have good spreads compared to others. They are reliable and efficient. Their customer relations is excellent.

I don't know your issue with HFM but saying they should not be recommended goes against my experience with them.

Everyone knows prop firms are not a sustainable business model in the long run. They spring up and wither without notice. The question is whether there is an opportunity for money to be made and the answer is a resounding yes. Every other thing is just smoke.

Innocent until proven guilty means that until the Law has prevailed, we are simply trading conjectures. If the only way you can draw conclusion or form an opinion is by way of evidence presented in the court while you collapse every other avenue of deductive reasoning then I can't help you understand what I wrote.

I am sure you read the part where I said every person has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guity by the court of law if the government must act in the interest of the state to impose a penalty on anyone found guilty of a crime.

That is the law which in most cases is an ass. A well-known murderer (cultist, bandit, hired killer, etc) who is careful to erase any evidence or trace of his or her crime and even brags about it is deemed "innocent" in the eyes of the law even when his or her actions and circmstances testify to the crimes.

I know you do see the news of people being arrested as suspects in a crime that was being investigated. Did the news present evidence against the suspects? You do not ask the news anchor or the police who made the arrests to produce evidence of the crimes or release the suspects. Investigations will do the rest. Such is this case.

I never defended the battery on her but I hope you do know that the slap is nothing compared to the torture she will receive when undergoing interrogation.

There is more to be revealed at this stage but it is safe to say she snuffed her father's life but it is a judge who officially determines that. That is the only difference.

I'm not making any hasty conclusion but taking sides is a no no and there is no justifiable reason for taking the life of a person where it is not a matter of self-defense in the face of threat to life.

As for the girl, what evidence exists to prove she in fact poisoned her father abeg? Why was she tied down instead of being handed directly to the police for investigation? Why are we still living this way in 2024? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

In the video clip, a voice can be heard explaining to viewers the circumstances surrounding the girl being restrained. The person said the girl poisoned her father who died from the effects of the poison. While he was talking, the girl, with a remorseless expression, said she also wants to die. That was when the narrator slapped her probably for not showing any form of remorse for what she did. That didn't stop her from affirming her wish to die along with her father.

Of course, thorough investigation should be carried out as there can be other actors (or none) in the shadows or it can lead to a can of worms. Nevertheless, anyone who has seen the clip, except their judgement is impaired by gender sentiments, knows that the girl did carry out the act of wilfully killing her father. For what reason? Time and investigation will tell.

Her desire to die along with her father, not denying the allegation of murdering her father, expression of lack of remorse are all tell-tale signs she is guilty, but that is to be decided in the court of law. A person has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty even when the person has admitted by their action or reaction their involvement in the crime and such is this case.

My greed index is too much and as a Virgo am a perfectionist which I think is not a good quality for a good trader.

What you need are discipline and self-reflection. Scalping is another way to blow your accounts. Holding a trade for a week or two helps. In essence, you know what you are doing that is keeping you from being profitable. Lastly, for now forex should be a side hustle but, if you can, do not give up on it. Wish you the best whatever decision you take.
