I don't like discrediting anyone especially when I do not have any facts to counter their claims...but one thing for sure is: a company of this nature wouldn't put up vacancies if they do not intend filling them. The programme in Nigeria is against next year 2018. The reason being that Abinbev just acquired SABmiller in Africa last October. SABmiller is Abinbevs way of penetrating the African continent


So next summer,Africa will be joining other graduates from around the world in the US for induction.


René Kohler you mentioned in your post was the global head for talent acquisition in SABmiller before Abinbev took over and finalised the merger in January; hence the change in her LinkedIn profile.

Some of us worked hard to get a degree, we tried our best to maximise the opportunities made available by the University, We volunteered for clubs and served under different capacities, Some of us did part time jobs, just to gain "work experience" and we tried our best to make over 65-70 % of our GPA...
Our sin is that we don't know the "right people"..

I agree that some graduates are " not graduate enough" but we have to stop generalising.

We have sound graduates but the system won't give us a chance..

By the way: I am a graduate of Botany looking for an opportunity in an agro allied company or a research institute . I also don't mind a teaching position in a reputable school, where I can use my skills and knowledge to build future leaders that are morally and academically sound..
