jpworld: You can only understand the business, if you have invested ur hard earn money in buying cars for Uber business. You will be able to judge it from the investors’ side. When I complain about @bodefakorede, @ogunvic41 came in his defense, despite knowing what @bodefakorede did. I will say it again ogunvic41 has a questionable character, investors be careful of this guys, You can imagine now he is asking partners to pay 20k registration for drivers, this guys are yahoo fleet, they are looking for a way to take back the money they are paying you. @prodigyx1 if you need help to arrest this guy, and see him in court on Monday, let me know, there could be couple of criminal charges, that could link with what you have detailed. The bold sentence is very important ooo |

GAZZUZZ: 24hour search and rescue support for every vehicle on the fleet, when assesment reveals it is quicker/more efficient to fix vehicle in workshop, it gets towed immediately. Reduced downtime, saving vehicle from roadside mechanics.
Let's change the way your investment is managed, let's change the narrative.

Coolbenzino: Brothers pls assist a brother here. My drivers license expired on Monday and I was able to renew it on same day. Though I was given a temporary one same day because I paid for express service. I have been trying to upload since Monday but uber kept rejecting it that it doesn't match the information on the previous expired one. So I went to uber office today. The lady took picture of both licence and told me that I will be activated today. Yet unable to go online.
Has anyone experienced this? Kindly advice. Thank you. You will be activated ..just relax n take a beer on me. Document verification isn't done @ the hub .... Approval comes from Uber global |

Romeo3: lol.
Wrong hypothesis.
If you remove danfo from the roads, there will be crisis. Unless you are removing 1000 danfo buses, and replacing them with 1000 buses of the same capacity, and even at that, you only maintained status quo. Nothing new.
Your hypothesis may be logical if you are removing the total danfo buses in lagos and replacing them with double or almost double of what they used to be....until that happens, no shaking. I may stand to disagree on this... 1. The LASG has full control making laws and policies that govern transportation in lagos state, they can come up with policies to frustrate private transportation or e-hailing eg remember the use of Hackney permit, transportation license in the era of VIO 2. Replacing wit double of what they used to be, will amount to putting a stress load on the system eg see what danfo buses dey cause when the park their buses along narrow streets or even at the bustops. Also note Uber is anticipating the LASG moves on transportation and seeing how they can introduce Uber buses. 3. It's always good to be PRO then RE active in a system that can easily be regulated by government laws and controls |

GAZZUZZ: drivers are trained on the Basics of how a car works, trained to diagnose simple car problems, driver gives exact feedback of the exact problems facing car, and is able to prevent extended damage by applying knowledge aquired.
E.g before a gasket burns, a car overheats.
Before an engine knocks, it starts by rattling
Before a ball joint pulls out, there is uneven tyre wear, and excessive sway.
Before brakes fail, there is loss in fluid pressure to brake calipers.
Lets cthange the narrative.
Lets reduce vehicle down time.
Professional drivers are not just drivers that can drive.
Very important |

Ifeanyimark: Entparrot, must u backbite someone's buisness to grow yours, until a partner or driver that have worked for ogunvic comes here to complain, then u all should shut up and grow ur own buisness, who be d jaxk bauer sef. Carshopper, i have 3 car owners that have called ogunvic and parrot, but they are among the drivers must be involved in maintance group, which u are championing. Once again are u floating your own company It's still on paper... a thought.. An idea .. A process. We just trying to re-create a process that already exists. Currently I am testing 'Driver maintenance group' on my own fleet... and truly it has reduced issues of sudden expenses. We will wear the idea first before we give it to u. |

jarkbauer: This is a hypothesis
Uber and Taxify business may become less lucrative in many months to come especially in Lagos.
LASG is investing heavily in transportation By the time Danfos are taken out of the road demand for Uber will reduce. True talk |

Is it possible for partners or Drivers to be paid a 'compensation' during vehicle downtimes?
Or if partner gives out a faulty car, Drivers should be compensated for that downtime /idleness?
Or if fleet manager or Driver been aware of the need for a preventive maintenance schedule but skip it, should Driver + fleet manager not compensate partner for downtime / idleness ?
Let's Change the narrative |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Carshopper(m): 10:00pm On Jan 22, 2018 |
GAZZUZZ: you gave driver a faulty car.
Fix your car properly do not cut corners.
Drivers also set targets for them selves, and presently your inability to provide a fault free car is keeping driver idle.
You should even pay for inconvenience and time wasted.
Time is money for both driver and partner.
Keep your car in good state of health to avoid downtime.
This is interesting.... Let's Change the narrative |

What is the narrative ?
1. Drivers want better Cars with less wahala, they want reduced maintenance cost to themselves, they want straight forward agreement contracts, they want lower rental fees, they want less stories.
2. Partners want good drivers with less wahala, they want assured remittance of weekly rental, they want in some cases maintenance sharing, they want to buy less expensive Cars that can do the work, they want less stories
Let's Change the narrative so that all parties be it drivers or partners are satisfied. |

chillex8: Unless you hire drivers and put them on salary. Partner-drivers still remain the MOST valued human asset in e-hailing. Bolded text explains it just as u have written... whererever u can have an option, it decreases relevance The MOST important is availability of the tool to engage in the business ... Partners - drivers don't dictate that and in most areas partner - drivers quality has reduced rather than improve. But we are not disputing the necessary tools to the business.. We are bridging the gap ... To every investment the most important is RETURN ON INVESTMENT not minding of the drivers is on salary or is a partner-driver... Lets Change the narrative |

We have come to understand that drivers aren't the most important assets in this e-hailing bizness.
We have also come to know that partners are not all they claim to be... some give bad Cars, others give harsh requirements
We have come to merge both parties ... we bringing a new way of achieving the most important ingredient in e-hailing Return On Investment . We say come let's Change the narrative ..let's infuse ideas that build not one that destroys ...

The narrative is about to change ... as we will be introducing an investment plan as low as N650,000.00
