What does fleet management mean to this business?

Fleet managing/management is to optimise cost and give a well calculated ROI to the investment. The E-hailing structure has left the position of extra income from driving your own vehicle whenever you are free to a business oriented structure whereby you can rent out your vehicle for a rental fee be it weekly or monthly.

This has made partners invest cash into purchasing vehicles and expect a calculated ROI within a time frame. But most times this calculated ROI doesn't come out as expected, so we look towards someone who can manage the stress and keep the returns at a controlled pace......

The management of over 40cars in a true fleet management scenario isn't much an issue ... u have fleet management solutions that cost sometimes an arm or leg.

You have solutions ranging from 50k to 100k per vehicle that monitors a lot of indices and gives u daily or weekly reporting

Fleet management is a a function which allows companies in transportation business to remove or minimize risk associated with vehicle investment, improving efficiency, productivity and reducing overhead costs. From Wikipedia

Simply said, fleet management is the optimization of costs, risks and efficiency.

Defauly period of 4 to 5 mnths ke. Am i mad. My default period shouldnt be anytin less dan 2weeks. I would be collecting weekly payment so d 2weeks default period is allowed. Wen u are collecting monthly payment den u are in for a lng tin. Lol..

Yes repossessing ur vehicle is within a grace of 2weeks... we mean most drivers will quit within a period of 4-7months. First 3months they may meet up

Its not easy... Uber offered me 2.5m with 25k weekly delivery on a corolla 2006 last august, money to be completed in 3 years partnership with Sterling bank 25% interest per annum. Advance HP. I ran for my dare life...romeo3 also qualified. We both ran lol

Now thats why I don't do HP... the type of HP contract we do is just out of need, if we truly follow bank ways people go dey faint for steering

SECONDED, am still waiting for the driver(s) that has completed his HP payment to show up on this thread...

Though I have seen drivers that have completed their HP but not within this era ....

HP is safer for partner, that way if driver defaults, you carry ya vehicle plus all drivers contributions.

My concern on the HP system is that the driver doesn't bring equity or equity isn't substantial. But with proper attention HP system can work though the default period is set between 4-7months. But then some would say the driver will be dropping a dead car at the time of default while others would say otherwise.

I stick with me rental and my LL ver201 partnership agreement

First find who go help u manage the motor and Driver.

Second think of that which will be comfortable for u in terms of hire purchase or rental - I don't do hire purchase bexuase most drivers don't have equity to drop ...

Third most people prefer the Toyota corolla (prone to vandalism) so u have to be ready to cover that with good insurance policy

Fourth we have guys who run fleet management.. U can consult with them and theh can manage for u.

A.c is one of the easiest and cheapest things to fix on a rio.

Solid economical engine.

solid transmission.

Front suspension can be a bother if you replace with refurbished tokumbor parts.

Overall it is an excellent ride.

Also very Cheap to maintain.

Went out with my drivers car today just to fill up the tank.

My guy de relax for ibadan, I de wait for am.

I was considering this kia Rio 1.6ltr Engine before but most people I know using kia products have been complaining bitterly especially for the availability of parts.
Parts are either too expensive or hard to find. My cousin has a Kia Rio 2007, had accident with it, since then over 4yrs the a/c is not working. He has tried all he could,spent money on it no way though he lives in Abuja.

If I talk hope they will not kill me... for the ac take motor to @gazzuz he did a good job on mine.
