Sdp has no such members in osun, so d 100k votes is coming bk to pdp. Omisore is inconsequential in the equation rt nw

Politics is a very dirty game. Umahi actually helped this PDP to power. After the latter's ill fated reign as the Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government Area where killings and untold robberies were the order of the day, he was excommunicated by the people of Afikpo.

He contested rather vainly for the senatorial seat but rejected by his people, after failing on one of those occasions, he went to the elders and cried bitterly. He spoke to the elders in parables and asked them what he's done exactly that can't be forgiven or that made his own people to reject him for an external body.

After much pleas, he was forgiven. The guy as already seriously broke, his cars were spoilt and littered in his compound. He was only left a hummer bus that he used to cruise around town. The situation was very pathetic.

To cut the long story short, Umahi came to his rescue. Rumours has it that he obtained the ticket of the HOR courtesy of the money Umahi gave him and the rest is history cheesy cheesy cheesy

Na story be this o..
Who's the guy you're referring to in your story? The story no clear. It seems the subject of your story is pdp.

Honestly I don't understand why Muslims, especially Yoruba Muslims are so excited that Russia invaded and bombing Ukraine without a humanly justifiable reason.

Dear reasonable Yorubas, you guys need to wake up oh, the Muslim fanatists amongst you are hell bent on turning Yoruba land to Syria.

Imagine them up there cursing Zelensky and blaming him for a war he didn't start.

Most of them don't even have full knowledge of the crises. How do you expect a President of another soverign nation to happily and willingly sign that part of his country (Creamea) you forcefully seized from him and annexed since 2014 to amen his nation's constitution to accept that that annexed region belongs to you Russia? As if that's not enough, you sponsored more regions (Doneskt and Luhansk) to breakaway and you also want Ukraine President to formally acknowledge those two regions as independent regions and that Ukraine will never lay claim on them ever again. A President like you, how is all these possible without negotiations and some agreements? Because of that you leveled several accusations against them and just invaded them killing both military and civilians and yet some foolish inhumane souls are cheering Putin on just cos of religion.

Russia never agreed boldly that if Ukraine do this they would attack. There was still negotiations going on since last year. Putin promised the world that he won't attack Ukraine that there was no reason to, that his military were only carry out routine drills.

NATO this and that, Ukraine haven't joined NATO and its not as if NATO would have accepted Ukraine that wanted to join with a huge military burden. And joining NATO doesn't even take months, it takes some countries years to fully comply with the requirements just like joining European Union.

And if Putin had a justifiable reason to invade Ukraine why is he telling Russians in Russia lies that he only went there to help Ukraine defeat Fascists and Neo Nazi militants? Why cant he be bold enough like every other country to show Russians the wonderful work Russian military is doing in Ukraine? Why is he blocking news channels and free media from showing live video streaming of the invasion of Ukraine to Russian citizens in Russia?

Yet inhumane, heartless Nigerians on this forum who are mostly Muslims are rejoicing over this and cursing, blaming and shutting Ukrainian President up, to what benefit?

This is really disturbing.

This injustice some of you are foolishly cheering, be careful, life is mysterious more than you ever think. Dont think you are in a safe haven, before you support inhumanity against fellow humans think twice, life is beyond what you think or see

Lol......Russia is imposing sanctions on USA. grin grin grin

The sanction thing works like a fight between a billion-dollar conglomerate and a tiny company.
Using Nigeria as an instance, Dangote conglomerate can stop buying sugar cane from a major farmer in Jos, and also influence other buyers not to buy the farmer's produce. To make up the shortfall, it could invest in farmers in Cameroon or Benin to supply it with Sugar cane.

Of course the farmer can fight back by refusing to buy Dangote cement for his one-room shack construction project. However in reality, Dangote can ruin the farmer by blocking 100% of its income while the farmer cannot even hurt 1% of Dangote's business in Jos alone.

Russia is about the size of Texas's economy. Worse still, it is not as innovative as Japan in high-tech goods critically needed in the USA. Therefore, it has almost nothing EXCEPT GAS! Unfortunately, it cannot afford to stop selling its oil and gas because 100% of its income comes from there too. Not to mention that USA has its own abundant oil and gas supplies too.

Told you so. The West shot themselves on the foot by trying to repeat the same move they used on the Soviet Union and other Communist/Socialist they destroyed.

The West is losing even though Russia haven't started her own sanctions. You can't beat a player in his own game. Communism as a philosophy was designed to withstand economic hardship. Remember Biblical Joseph policy in Egypt
The only way to beat communism is by infiltrating into the minds of the masses with propaganda like they have successfully rendered Africans eternal slaves but it won't work in Russia where most don't like Western media.

Economic sanctions doesn't work on Communist countries, this is why North Korea is still alive and more developed than 80% of Capitalist countries. Communism as a philosophy is designed to protect the poor man at the expense of the greedy ones. This is total opposite of what Capitalism preaches which is for the few rich to live on the blood of the poor masses. If you can't deceive the masses to rise against a communist leader, you can't scratch the country.
The attack on Russian Oligarchs is merely teaching Russia the full meaning of Communism. Thereby doing the masses a favour

This is the end of Capitalism. If Putin didn't figure out how to bypass the trick, he wouldn't have invaded Ukraine.

Goodluck to Europe as they are about to buy gas 10 times more price as they used to buy it before, thanks to their own sanction on Russia. It is either they find a way to use Africa to fill the quota at the expense of Africans or watch themselves die.

****This is for those asking after North Korea. For a country to have the capability to develop Nuclear weapons despite the sanctions, that means that she is no longer in the league of average countries. Below is not Heaven, it is the picture of Pyongyang, North Korea.
Spot-on!!!

I'm happy Putin is trying to make sanctions being the most strong tool of the United States to lose its potency.

Everybody will collect at the end of the day. Western media as crippled people's thinking. They think the west and her allies are invincible and indispensable.

They can't ask themselves one simple question . How is North Korea and Iran has been surviving with sanctions for years without dying or going into extinction .
If those countries can survive And still be producing Nuclear weapons it means Russia will do even better.

Aside from the casualties In Ukraine I liked what Putin is doing putting the world to order with a balance of power .

Imagine the west controlling Football something that's meant to be Neutral.
How can the west also Control the court of HAGUE and you tell me the world is balanced.
Only weak leaders are executed on the ICC while the big boys are not touched after killing in Syria , Afghan , Libya etc. the world will never be a unipolar system .

I would like to see FIFA, UEFA and IOC fall for compromising their Neutrality. ICC should be scrap too until everyone stands equal before the law .
it's because of comments like this that I still come to Nairaland.

The world can't be unipolar - America should stop the bullying and seeing those who are not with them as enemies or seeing friends of Russia as their enemies.

FIFA would eventually break - they fined Abou Trika for writing 'Stop the war in Gaza', but didn't say anything about the player who wrote "stop the war in Ukraine ".

They said football should not be brought into politics and I don't know how they got on this war issue and politics.

Americans who killed, raped and destroyed cities etc, can't be tried in the Hague, but African leaders are tried.

Like I've always said, Putin knows the consequences of his actions before he invaded and has worked out survival plans with the sole aim of breaking the myth of power of sanctions. America is about to lose its powerful tool - sanctions.

I hate that people are dying in Ukraine(they followed the US and its allies to invade Iraq), but I stand with Putin - we all can't lick the western ass.
