Imagine taking a room in a hotel like this one.

Everyone that has ever worked here is an accomplice - they should track back all calls made to this particular hotel or out of it to know to know their customers who purchased organs from them.

My question is this building owned by Fulani herdsman?
If you see the way that useless hero in prison(now begging to be released) demonized Fulani to his gullible followers, you'd think there's no criminal of Igbo extraction.

They always want to play the victims - it pays them more.

Politics › Re: Nigeria’s High Interest Rate Is Stoking Inflation, Oyedele by Caseless: 1:37am On Jan 26, 2025
Ojuntana:
Seems Mr Oyedele is job hunting and he's in favour of picking on the thinnest broom from the bunch.

It seems he's still interested in securing a tangible and sustainable portion of a meal o' corn since the Committee gig seems to have run its course as far as such meals are concerned.

If not, why would anyone blame interest rates for the high inflation when basic economics tells us that high interest rates is a desirable tool to curb inflation and even the US Fed and other such institutions in the West employed such measures to fight inflationary pressure.

Mr Oyedele sounds much more like a socialist apologist than a liberal policymaker with this intervention. He basically attacked two fundamental policies of the present CBN. The naira devaluation and MPR rates.

Let's hope he genuinely has a solution and not just looking to make the room uncomfortable for the present occupier of the seat who has been fortunate enough to slide under the radar while the main govt propaganda machinery have had to take on the job of explaining away inflationary and currency exchange value, twin calamities which seem to have compounded the subsidy removal woes.

If the tax expert is really serious about keeping his seat on the table, he should join the hallelujah boys to amplify the gains of the subsidy removal and the easy low hanging cob is the increase in revenue never bother what the true value of that increase represents.

Like toy soldiers, he should learn to march to the music from the box instead of looking to start his own music else he be mistaken for an enemy and take some unwanted fire!!
Do you actually believe high interest rate reduce inflation? You guys are quick to compare us to countries with structure and a working economy.

They also have a price control, we don't. Some of those countries' currency is stronger than the Dollar, they have power and produce mostly what they eat. We're and import dependent economy - exchange rate alone is enough to drive prices up.

Every land is made up of immigrants. In the early stages of humanity, people migrated to various lands to form clans.

Now because we all came to our present environment through immigration at one point of our existence, does it mean we throw the gates open allow people move in and out without proper vetting?. Does it mean anyone can just claim to be part of us, understanding our culture, values and struggles just cuz they were born on the land?
When your ancestors came to where you find yourself today, they poisoned the natives?

Education › Re: FUTA Denied His Sister Admission After Paying Fees For Being Less Than 16 Years by Caseless: 8:22am On Jan 25, 2025
Khayfacor:
A Cry For Justice: My Sister’s Peculiar Case At FUTA

Hello everyone,
I’m writing this with a heavy heart, hoping to get some advice or raise awareness about a situation my sister is currently facing with FUTA (Federal University of Technology, Akure).

She was granted admission into the university, and naturally, as any excited prospective student would, she began fulfilling all the requirements: paying the acceptance fee, tuition fees, and even securing accommodation. All seemed to be going well—until the institution suddenly declared her ineligible to register because she wasn’t 16 years old at the time of admission.

Now, I understand that there are guidelines and age requirements, but here’s where her case becomes unique: she turned 16 on the 12th of January, even before the scheduled matriculation ceremony. So technically, by the time her journey as a university student would officially begin, she already met the age criterion.

Despite this, FUTA has refused to allow her to register. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating. How can an institution accept payments for multiple fees, knowing full well her age at the time of admission, and then later use it as a barrier against her?

This speaks to a larger issue I’ve observed with Nigerian institutions—a lack of consistency, proper guidelines, and clear communication. Students and their families pour their resources and hopes into this process, only to be met with unnecessary roadblocks that could have been avoided with a little competence and foresight.

My sister’s dream of furthering her education is now hanging in the balance, not because of any fault of her own but because of a rigid and unfair system. I’m reaching out to this forum to share her story and ask:

Has anyone experienced or heard of a similar situation?

What can we do to challenge this decision and ensure she gets the opportunity she deserves?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any advice, insight, or even words of encouragement would mean the world to us right now.
Is it even right to leave a 16 year old all by herself on campus at this present time? She needs a university chaperone.

Defer the admission.

This is what you get when you let the west define your values and worth.

If I was a moderator on the platform, I won't push this news to the front page because it's topics like this that makes our girls bleach their skin.

Go and check Angelina Jolie now. She has no breasts due to cancer but they are still pushing this terrible narrative in 2025.

Good riddance.

Addendum

So this is a beautiful woman?

Rubbish!
some people are stupid to think there's anything called "most beautiful women" from almost 5 billion of them living on this earth. They have not gone everywhere to have seen everyone to know who's most beautiful. If these ones here were not in showbiz, who would see them to say they're beautiful?

Nonsense list!
Foreign Affairs › Re: China Executes Man For Car Rampage That Killed Dozens by Caseless: 4:43am On Jan 25, 2025
Analysts earlier told the BBC that the string of mass killings raised questions about how people in China have been dealing with various sources of stress, such as the country's sluggish economy.

"The tensions do seem to be building, and it doesn't look like there is any way it is going to ease up in the near future," says George Magnus, an economist at Oxford University's China Centre.

Changes nothing. The medical supplies man was at home with his family. People broke into his house. He thought they were thieves and shot them with a licensed gun, in order to defend himself. Maybe he is even suffering PTSD from the previous armed robbery attacks by thieves in the night.

A neutral court and a good lawyer would set him free.

The EFCC officers are well aware of the ban on night raids by the EFCC boss.

The first question his lawyer should ask EFCC officers on the witness stand is 'Are you aware of the ban on night raids by the EFCC boss?'

As hypocritical as Wike may sound here, I also do not think we have a state police - we can create a unit for locals to be recruited and retained in their community that can be called homebased police, they take order from another person appointed by the NPF and does not always wait for Abuja before taking action.
