I don't think the problem here is graduating with a first class but the fact the the Nigerian economy is slowing down with only fewer jobs opportunities in the market. Apart from this, the Nigerian society isn't a problem solving one, we are rather end-users of solutions typically paying through our noses to buy solved problems and implementing. The moment Nigeria takes Research and Development more seriously, the economy will expand exponentially. Until then, might I ask the OP to relocate to a country where his ingenuity is more appreciated like many others before him?

Like i was told in the university; 1st class students are meant for the classrooms/lecture halls. 1st class students are products of too much theory/cramming and zero-practical system we've all gone through and, u are fortunate to have taken advantage of the system and made a 1stclass; can't be self-reliant or self-employed with respect to their field of study as it is the case with most Nigerian graduates.
Op, i'l advice u to apply for a lecturing job in ur 'alma mata'...they will appreciate u more.

an inlaw of mine, a captain who was killed like 2 months ago, said ihejirika and badeh(the then chief of airstaff) once had a disagreement over what he termed as the selfishness and greed on the side of ihejirika. He painted the picture by saying that they received a tip-off about a hideout bh was operating from, when the order came from abuja for them to attack the said hideout...ihejirika said the soldiers shld go on land because of d money involved in mobilizing the men on ground and, badeh on the other hand prefered attacking via air which is less costly and with little casualty on the side of the military. Ofcourse, they travelled several hours on the road to get to the hideout and lost woefully in that operation as prfered by ihejirika.
I'm sure u heard a source or gej's spokeperson saying why badeh was promoted and others retired was becos little fund was given to NAF under badeh and he managed it well. This confirms the story outlined by an insider on ihejirika decision to use a land option that's expensive instead of a cheaper air option suggested by Badeh.
Dont let ur sense of sentiment becloud ur sense of objectivity.

ILIDEFI: Till eternity, I believe Cramjones is FFK, and FFK is cramjones.
My reasons:
1) Cramjones once posted a picture of FFK when he was in secondary school (or whatever they call it) in UK. Beyond that, he was able to accurately pin point who FFK was, as there were 2 black boys in the picture.

2) Cramjones made a statement in one of his earlier posts and credited it to his classmates in UK. Unfortunately, I can't search for the post. How come both Cramjones and FFK had their secondary education in UK?

3) Cramjones in times past posted FFK's articles here on nairaland, without a need to include the link. How come he had direct access to FFK's articles?

4) When FFK was said to join APC, Cramjones was the one that created the post on Nairaland. He gave the account of the whole event, as it relates to FFK. How come?

5) Cramjones writes exactly like FFK. Is it merely a coincidence?

6) Does anybody even expect FFK to agree he is Cramjones? Is Nairaland no longer a faceless forum? This is no facebook or Instagram.

When Cramjones joined Nairaland, he was not attempting to hide his connection with FFK, until FFK ported to PDP. All these rebuttal are done out of shame, to protect his image on Nairaland. Unfortunately, some of us know better.

No 7 reason: cramjone was the only one that saw ffk on channels tv denying having any link to nairaland's cramjones.
He didnt even ask the interviewer what is 'cramjones' , but went ahead to deny any link without knowing what cramjones stands for or, mean.
Since cramjones aka ffk defected to pdp , he has kept a sealed lips on nl until this post.
