Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Tells UK And Other Nations To Send Ships To Help Secure Strait Of Hormuz by CaseSensitive(m):
"We don't need people that join Wars after we've already won!" Trump to UK

He got the Straits of Hormuz closed then asks every other nations to commit suicide trying to reopen it. I know Kier Starmer and Macron are dumb but they're not that dumb.

"If the strait is blocked, send ships. If the ships hesitate, send tweets. A message travels faster than a fleet.” - Don Tzu (The Art Of War)

Oh by the way, Iran may have clipped Netanyahu.
Foreign AffairsRe: The Only Thing Prohibiting Transit In Hormuz Is Iran Shooting At Ships - Hegseth by CaseSensitive(m):
China is not affected by the closure, Iran allow them passage. China is also an ally and the biggest buyer of Iranian oil. France has already said they won't be sending any warship there, neither will UK. Japan and South Korea too will NEVER dare send ship to the strait of hormuz. Trump is cornered - can't proceed, can't withdraw either and Iran has again rejected another ceasefire. In the meantime, world economy will take a hit.

Japan’s Ministry of Industry - "We intend to release part of the national petroleum reserves, starting in late March"

British Finance Minister - "We are ready to release oil reserves to address the energy crisis."

French Economy Minister - "The crisis is hitting the world, we are starting to use our oil reserves."

Chairman of the US Senate Intelligence Committee - "We do not have sufficient strategic petroleum reserves due to democratic policies. There may be tough days ahead."

What's that acronym again? Something about F-ing around and finding out?

Everyone will learn history and geopolitics by force. Oh and maybe geography too
Foreign AffairsRe: US Places $10m Bounty On Mojtaba, Others; offers relocation as reward (pix) by CaseSensitive(m):
Razzness:
It's like the US doesn't seem to know anything about Shiites.
Growing up, I barely knew anything about Shiites, other than the usual conspiracy theories about how evil they are. So because of this war, I decided to do a deep dive on what Shia is all about. Basically, the Shia sect were originally a group of Muslims who believed that after the death of Prophet Muhammad, his cousin Ali bin Abu-Talib should have become the leader of Muslims (this is a reasonable stance), but the other Muslims chose Abubakar since he was the one whom the prophet regarded as his deputy during his life (this is also reasonable). The problem started when Ali was killed and Mua'awiyya hijacked the leadership position. Shiites believe Hassan or Hussein, who were the grandchildren of the prophet, should have become the leader. But Hassan and Hussein refused to accept Mu'awiyya; they fled the city of Mecca, and Mu'awiyya hunted them with 3,000 men and murdered them in the most gruesome means possible. He killed all 71 of Hussein's family and companions.

This was where conventional Shia Islam was born. those who defied the brutality of Mu'awiyya and chose death over servitude. This is the very foundation on which Shia Islam is built. Do not oppress, and do not be oppressed. So when Israel was oppressing Palestinians, they took it upon themselves to be their protectors. When Blacks were oppressed in South Africa during apartheid, Iran was the first to offer help. When they arrested hundreds of American soldiers during the revolution, Khomenei released only women and Black soldiers (he told them they suffered enough).

So if the US and Israel think they can threaten, kill, or bribe Shiites into submission, they are in for a big disappointment. These are people whose faith is built on sacrifice and blood.
Iran's only crime today is that they refused to turn a blind eye to the atrocities of Israel in Palestine, like the Saudis and the Qataris. If they had done so, they would be living large by now.
They really do stand by the oppressed, they supported the struggles of Democratic Republic of the Congo against the imperial demons. I should add that Iran also named a street in Tehran after Patrice Lumumba to honour his legacy after Belgium and USA murdered him. The street is called:

Patrice Lumumba St.
Tehran Province, Tehran,
District 2, Iran.

But the uninformed who probably watch too much Hollywood movies and CNN will tell you that Iran is a terrorist nation while romanticising the real terrorists.

Angelfrost:
Trump is gambling hugely with this Iranian war...!

If he fails to overcome that nation, the fallout will be cataclysmic for America's world power image for decades to come.

I'm sure China and Russia are banking on this... They might even be secretly helping Iran sef.

I just wish the rest of the world didn't have to suffer the consequences of this pointless dick measuring contest... Mtchewwwww!
Indeed, alliance of Russia, China and Iran brings power to the global south. That means USA will lose the Gulf Cooperation Council - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE etc because they now know that security guarantee they signed with the USA is a mirage. If USA loses the Middle East, that would spell the end for Israel.

China would take Taiwan almost certainly, South Korea would feel very exposed and vulnerable, they would have no choice than to align with the power in the eastern sphere which is China. Japan and Singapore would probably follow suit. That is a death blow to the USA and they know it and can't afford to lose the war in Iran. It's a war of survival for the hegemony.

I know geopolitics rarely shifts in such a linear way but these are very realistic scenarios that could very well play out depending on the trajectory of this war. And yes China and Russia are certainly helping Iran, at least with Intelligence.
Foreign AffairsRe: US Places $10m Bounty On Mojtaba, Others; offers relocation as reward (pix) by CaseSensitive(m):
Iranian president walked around Tehran today. Why didn't someone arrest him? USA placed a $10 million bounty on Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa who was an ISIS member. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa is now the president of Syria shaking hands with Western world leaders. Let that sink in.

Oh by the way, Iran has just struck 5 more US Air Force Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker refuelling planes at Prince Sultan airbase in Saudi Arabia.

Foreign AffairsRe: All Six Crew Members Killed After US Refuelling Plane Crashes In Iraq by CaseSensitive(m):
The plane was attacked by Iranian P385 Surface to Air missile in Iraq. Said it in the early hours of this morning that all 6 crew members died but USA prefer to lie and spoon feed information. To give them benefit of doubt, they may have been searching for the remains of the remaining two.
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran May Allow Indian Tankers Through Hormuz Despite Ongoing Shipping Attacks by CaseSensitive(m): 7:38pm On Mar 13
I'd like to think India acted in good faith regarding the unarmed Iranian warship that was attacked by America while returning to Iran from India. Otherwise, India deserves to be punished too, act of Judas should not be tolerated within the BRICS ranks. But I'd like to think there's more to the way India managed the relationship than meets the eye.
Foreign AffairsRe: 150 U.S Troops Wounded In 10 Days War With Iran (Photos) by CaseSensitive(m):
Noblechykk:
When it comes to deaths recorded in war, U.S government do not lie about figures. They can lie about too many other things but not the death of their sevicemen. The reason is simple, every serviceman has either a parent, siblings or a friend. And once the person becomes incommunicado for some days, alarm would be raised. In America, the government is accountable to the people. Just one cover up can bring down the government
You're right to give legitimacy to their code of conduct but this is not a normal war, it's a war of desperation and poll suggests only 16% of Americans supports the war, so even though alarm would be raised when a soldier goes offline, Trump's administration has every reasons to hide that alarm from the whole world at least in the short term, though my initial comment was about the injured soldiers rather than the dead but again, I don't think US will come out and announce casualty (dead) straightaway as it happened.

Late last night for example, I read OSINT report that says one of America's refuelling aircraft was hit by an Iranian Surface to Air missile and all 6 crew members on board didn't make it, then CENTCOM came out to say the plane crash was not due to enemy fire, and 4 crew members lost their lives out of 6. It was a lie.

Foreign AffairsRe: France And Italy Open Talks With Iran In Hope Of Securing Safe Hormuz Passage by CaseSensitive(m): 5:59pm On Mar 13
Thought little Napoleon Macron was going to sail his warship through the Strait of Hormuz? He lost a soldier already and many more French soldiers wounded, he now probably came to his senses that there's a high probability he'd lose more and realised that negotiation is a lot sustainable than escalation.

I actually think this is a historic development in the sense that, in the past, wars are coordinated among "allies" with USA being the Commander-In-Chief. They all share the loss and share the spoils of war but USA decided to go into this war alone because there's been a crack in their alliance. Now allies realise that they are on their own and independently trying to negotiate passage with Iran. Interesting times ahead.

Foreign AffairsRe: 4 Of 6 U.S. Crew Members Confirmed Dead After Refueling Plane Crashes In Iraq by CaseSensitive(m):
CENTCOM said the loss of the aircraft was not due to friendly fire or hostile fire but the latter is the truth. The Plane was brought down by a P358 Surface to air missile in Iraq. The downed plane is a Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker with Reg: 63-8017 and Serial number 18634. The plane left to the Middle East from the US base Mildenhall Air Force Base in Suffolk, UK.

There are chances that crew members began burning with the plane shortly after it was hit, before the plane finally crashed. They all died, none of them survived. Another refuelling tanker plane was apparently targeted but managed to land in Israel.

US said "Loss of aircraft was not due to friendly fire or hostile fire" - That's a lie, it was shot down
US said "4 out of 6 crew members died" - That's a lie too, they're all dead.

Foreign AffairsRe: Iran & Russia Have Undersea Missiles That Travel At 100m/s - IRGC Says (Video) by CaseSensitive(m): 8:05pm On Mar 12
The West has no monopoly over military tech as already demonstrated by Russia with the likes of Oreshnik and Iran with Shaed drones and the range of missiles they have in their arsenal. It only makes sense that they develop capabilities like Undersea Missiles given the Strait of Hormuz is a significant leverage they have.

PoliticsRe: UK To Restricts Its Airspace For Tinubu's State Visit by CaseSensitive(m): 2:58pm On Mar 12
No more oil from Middle East to Europe, at least not for a good few months. Russia has stopped selling oil and gas to Europe. America's oil and gas is 4-5 times the price of Middle-East or Russian oil and gas, partly due to logistics. Without oil and gas, Europe will be in darkness and their entire economy will shutdown.

Nigeria has oil and gas
King Charles is inviting Tinubu on a state visit.

I'm not connecting dots here but anyway, Afrobeats and Jollof rice to the world!
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Rejects Ceasefire: ‘you Can’t Start A War And Then Demand A Ceasefire by CaseSensitive(m):
A ceasefire would mean that America and Israel will regroup and come back again. Ceasefire cannot be on America's terms when they are clearly the aggressor. Iran will teach America a historic lesson.
Foreign AffairsRe: US Navy Tells Shipping Industry Hormuz Escorts Not Possible For Now by CaseSensitive(m):
Escorting ships through the strait of Hormuz will require a whole lot of USS Destroyers and those warships in the Strait of Hormuz are fair game for the Iranians, they will certainly sink a few of them. USA cannot replace the warships like they did 50 years ago. US can't afford to continue the war and Iran is rejecting ceasefire. Trump is toast and stuck. The entire world economy will suffer from his dumb, ill-thought and careless decision.

Arrowhead71:
The Persians in Iran are majority...its the Islamic occupier on Iran that are in the minority
The Persians in Iran?? Iran is Persia and they are majority muslim. About 90–95% of Iranians are Shia Muslims, mainly Twelver Shia which is the dominant form of Islam in Iran. Around 5–10% are Sunni Muslims and those are mostly among ethnic minority groups such as the Kurds. Small numbers are Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian etc. So both ethnically Persian and most non‑Persian groups in Iran are Muslim, and Islam is the religion of the overwhelming majority of the population (About 97-98%). So who are the "Islamic occupier" you are talking about here my friend?
