Cromagnon:
Is it America that threatens to wipe Iran from the face of the earth or Iran that says God sent them? Do you think before you talk? Name one useful thing out of Iran that the world uses?
Going by your logic, I should support America in their war of aggression because Iran doesn't produce a thing that the world uses? It never occurred to you that Iran is central to global economy? How are some people this dvmb?
HealthRe: Life Expectancy By Country: by CaseSensitive(m): 6:40pm On Mar 08
I thought Iran is a terrorist infested country. How come they rank way above Nigeria? This can't be true 🙃

Foreign AffairsRe: 'Without My Approval, Iran's Next Supreme Leader Won't Last Long - Donald Trump by CaseSensitive(m): 6:05pm On Mar 08
Only an unhinged head of state will issue out those utterance openly. This is what America and the entire West has been doing to weaker countries such as African nations for decades - imposing head of states that the citizen did not choose. You are being taught a lesson in Iran, your options are very limited.

You either:

1. Retreat from Iran, which means Israel will be destroyed eventually
2. Deploy Israel and American troops and loose thousands and thousands of them or
3. Nuke Iran and face the global fall out.

You’re cornered Mr Trump.
PoliticsRe: We Are Ready To Support Nigeria In Fight Against Terrorism - Iran by CaseSensitive(m): 5:43pm On Mar 08

Easy on the propaganda. Iran is NOT a terrorist state.

I thought Trump said America will be escorting ships plying the strait of Hormuz. What happened to that plan?

FaAbData:
It's their cheering Trump that's causing this? So if they aren't cheering Trump this won't happen? How does their cheering or not cheering change anything.
No of course not, cheering doesn’t cause the war. The point is the irony, Nigerians supporting Israel and USA's aggression will still complain when they face more hardship worse than they are already facing due to global oil price spike, but weren't unable to connect the dots from the onset. It's the lack of awareness.
PoliticsRe: Petrol Price May Hit N1,800 In Nigeria- Refiners Warn by CaseSensitive(m): 4:58pm On Mar 08
drstranged:
I don't understand why it should go up. Please explain.
I mean we produce our crude and sell to other countries meaning we should gain more dollars with the crude oil price increase. Secondly, we now largely refine our own crude meaning importation is at its lowest. So how should crude oil price increase also result in increased fuel price here rather than the opposite effect. Please explain
Crude oil is valued at international price , so that makes Nigeria vulnerable to price instability. Nigeria and Dangote may export more oil due to surge in demand but that also means average Nigerians will pay more for petrol, diesel etc because the price is benchmarked. Also Nigeria still import more than half of local consumption despite local refineries, so essentially, Nigeria is exposed to global price disruption and also higher premium on imports. Interesting times ahead.
PoliticsRe: Petrol Price May Hit N1,800 In Nigeria- Refiners Warn by CaseSensitive(m): 4:38pm On Mar 08
Deputy Americans and Zionist Nigerians in Nigeria don't have an idea what their Massa has caused. Maybe next time they'll think before cheerleading for a warmongering empire and its vassal terror state. You're not just a spectator like it's a Manchester United v Plymouth match, your survival is on the line you're just not wise enough to see it yet but don't worry, you will feel it very very soon if this war turns out to be a prolonged war.

Oga, Americans can't fight.

All they can do is throw bombs from far away and hide under the table.

See how they are looking for the Kurds to go and fight for them. They know they can't send American troops into Iran because they will be decimated.
My comment was an obvious sarcasm. Check my posts
Foreign AffairsRe: US Says 28,000 Citizens Have Safely Returned Home From Middle East by CaseSensitive(m): 5:44pm On Mar 07
Why did Trump order 28000 soldiers to return home? Thought he's planning a ground invasion?

Nigeria does not primarily sell her crude through the strait of hormuz.

We good.
CaseSensitive:
No you're not good. Yes, Nigeria’s crude doesn’t physically pass through the Strait of Hormuz, but the country is still highly exposed to global oil price fluctuations. The conflict is already disrupting Middle East supply and will push up prices worldwide. That means higher revenues from exports for Nigeria, but also higher domestic fuel costs, inflation and living expenses because oil price is regulated worldwide. so no, you're not good.
Tolumiide:
Iran response is understandable and expected. Next time you will think twice before attacking them.
My concern now is that I bought diesel ₦945 yesterday and it's now ₦1450 today. The fuel attendant said it's because of Isreal and Iran war. As how now?. The coming days in the Nigerian market would be interesting. I have increased our service by 50% to reflect the current reality. Diesel is the back bone of Nigeria economy.
Are you sure you're good? You don't have an idea what's coming.
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian Apologises To Gulf Nations For Attacks by CaseSensitive(m):
Gulf States brought it upon themselves. Maybe they'll learn not to host US bases on their soil ever again. Maybe Trump too will also learn why 7 US presidents before him did not start a war against Iran since the 1979 Iranian revolution.

Oh please. During CoVID all prices crashed to $10 per barrel and the world survived.
The world survived Covid but at what cost? COVID caused low prices because demand collapsed. This one is the opposite of that.

Covid - Demand collapse

Middle East war - Supply disruption

In Nigeria’s case, yes Nigeria and Dangote may benefit from higher demands but it’s the average Joe that will suffer for it due to local fuel price rise.
Foreign AffairsRe: Qatar Warns That Middle East War Could Bring Down The Economies Of The World by CaseSensitive(m): 8:32pm On Mar 06
Oh you don't need Qatar to tell you that the war in Iran will bring down the world economy. You don't have an idea what America has caused.
IslamRe: League Of Chief Imams Caution Nigerians Against Meddling In Middle East Crisis by CaseSensitive(m):
It's common sense for Nigerians not to meddle in the crisis but common sense actually eludes a lot of them, especially the religious bigots.
Foreign AffairsRe: "There Will Be No Deal With Iran Except Unconditional Surrender" - Trump by CaseSensitive(m):
Iran will teach USA a costly lesson in this war, they're not surrendering. America’s allies in the Middle East are desperate to replenish their US made air defence missiles supplies but the US is running out too. America has a stockpile of about 4000 Tomahawk missiles in total, about 10% of that stockpile has been sent to the Middle East to launch against Iran.

Stockpile of THAAD missile interceptor are depleted too. America has launched about 150 of them in the 12 day war against Iran in June last year. That’s about a quarter of 600 of what is in US stockpile, so depleted they had to requisition more supplies from South Korea. America will have no choice but to withdraw from the Middle East if it runs out of weapons which I think will happen soon because they are using their military equipments faster than they can be replenished, especially their defence missile capabilities. Russia and China are watching very closely too.

US made a huge strategic mistake by killing Ayatollah Ali Khameini and provoking a needless, baseless unjustifiable war and they probably know it.

Yet another illiterate that lacks basic understanding of the war he is fighting. Let me in the interest of making the world a better place by redirecting you energy right with improvement in logical understanding.
Now listen, the Arabs are just like the fulani they come into a place by Force of conquest impose themselves and generations forget their origin and the blood letting that introduced them into that society. Khamenei family are direct descendants of Ali ibn al-Husayn al-Sajjad the great grand son of Muhammad (saw). They are bonafide Arabs by genelogy and DNA and as they boast undiluted with the filth of interbreeding with native Persians, allowing only for marriage between socalled noble Arabs and blood relations , so they are directly connected to the spiritual origin of islam front and back.
The Persians assimilated them like the hausa and Yoruba of ilorin assimilated the fulani.

Use your tongue and count your teeth as it concerns your country Nigeria with fulani so it concerns persians with Arabs.

For your information the same is the story with Jerusalem which is fully historically Jewish territory
“Yet another illiterate” actually made me laugh, almost a chef’s kiss in rhetoric. A presumed “literate” Dunning-Kruger subject who believed Iranians are Arabs? Iran is majority Persian culturally and linguistically, regardless of any clerical lineage. Don’t you think logical understanding is doing a very heavy lifting here? The claim of Ali Khamenei being a direct descendant of prophet Muhammed is not confirmed by DNA but rather a claim that was orally passed down through generations. Even if Ali Khamenei claims descent from Muhammad, that does not make Iran Arab.

Family lineage is not equal to national identity. Nigeria’s Fulani dynamics here is influenced by the same people you cheerlead for. It’s a modern political construct, If you use your critical thinking skills, you’d know exactly why that political construct exists in the first place. 7th century Persia is imperial and very different structurally to the Fulani you’re drawing unaligned parallels with. At least you would have sounded a little "literate" if you draw comparison between the Kurds and the Fulanis given that they're both involved in identity politics. Again, I'm discussing geopolitics (bordering sovereignty), you’re discussing racial purity myth using a religion that rejects racial hierarchy anyway. You obviously have issues with Islam, I don’t, neither do I have issues with Christianity despite the fact that I view both religions as foreign to me as an African.

More importantly - (this is the core nuance that flew over you) this war was NEVER about Christianity v Islam, Arabs v Persians or whatever rhetoric you’re being made to believe by default conditioning. I don’t view everything from a religious or tribal lens unlike some dum dum. Maybe zoom out a little then you’ll just maybe realise that there's a class of global elite instigating and supporting tribal and religious unrests and insurgencies around the world including Nigeria. You’re not part of that class and they got you right where they want you. This is beyond your comprehension. Happy cheerleading and good morning whenever you wake up.
