@op, there are some nice responses here, that could be useful to you, be yourself, don`t try to pretend,be humble and modest in everything you do,just go about living your life as each day comes, forget about desperation and what the world thinks of your single status, you can only hear what they say if you care to listen. also Try and socialize, keep the right group of friends and who knows anything can happen. and Asides beauty, you have to be well behaved, have principles & all the wifely characteristics. then answer the following questions I think you need a self evaluation. You are the one who knows yourself. Are you arrogant? Are you too flashy? Do you live a flamboyant life? Do you frown all the time? also It can also be that you are too choosy. are you? i am afraid this might not work but rather lead you to more married men Take yourself out once in a while and spoil yourself. Please don't be desperate, you are not too old as some as pointed here, hoping it ends well for you |
rantings of politicians, they should also react to the shortcomings of their party nationwide. djustice:even the ones that are covered are still filled with refuse, so the problem is not design but the mindset of the people, (their is no reason for someone to dump refuse into any drain)they should be educated on the effects of such acts, penalized when caught and the waste management authority should be up and doing. |
prof Nnaji is clueless to how to fix Nepa, apart from having connection to be in that position, he is not qualified to be there. He is wrong square peg in around hole. If we have electricity problem any serious government will bring electrical engineers to fix it. But since they have claim that nigeria have problem in electricity. None of them who are suppose to be ministers are electrical engineer. How does driver perform an operation on a sick person. it is only in Nigeria that they do that. Prof Nnaji selection shows Jonathan does not want to fix the problem.
I beg to disagree with you on these, you don't have to be an electrical engineer to be the Minister in charge of power and especially to solve the Phcn issues. Thank God the man is even an engineer of high repute and with vast knowledge of the sector he has been appointed to, so lets give him time. He is not coming there to carry tester, pliers, work with generating sets, circuit breakers, transformers and so on, he is coming to implement and enforce policies that will bring about a better energy sector. |
megapro:I guess i have to disagree with you on this, the absence of Emeka Nwajobi in the 2nd leg didn't generate much news as that of John Fashanu, after being appealed to by many well meaning Nigerians especially as we were on the verge of qualifying for our first world cup. Reports then was that he made a u-turn at the airport. |
some old school 1. what was the scoreline of the match between Nigeria and Tunisia 1st leg Mexico 86 world cup qualifying match and name the scorer(s). 2. what was the scoreline of the 2nd leg match. A certain player that was expected to play for Nigeria, appeared but didn't travel for the match, name this player. |
its a step forward, wish him good luck during his tenure |
donspony:is there any country you wont find Nigerians, but like the op asked, Nigeria first for me, but no to pakistan donspony:think so too |
Nigeria despite all odds, but there is nothing wrong with Mexico and Philippines Pakistan, NEVER |
the immediate reaction of the police is far below the magnitude of the bombing incident, just watched on TV the police spokesperson was reading out a prepared speech like a primary school pupil reading out a storybook even the words they are using are so soft, it looks as if its a natural disaster that they are referring to The Inspector-General of Police Hafiz Abubakar Ringim, NPM, mni has expressed his displeasure over the suicide bomb attack on vehicles parked at the Force Headquarters, Abuja car park. The unfortunate incident which led to the death of the suicide bomber and a Police traffic warden occurred at about 1100hrs of 16/06/2011 when the suicide bomber vehicle was intercepted and directed to the car park for searching and checking. The Traffic Warden who entered the vehicle of the suicide bomber to direct him to the car park was blown off along with him as soon as they got to the car park. The IGP wises a appreciate the efforts of the fire service and the team of armed forces fire service who promptly responded to put off the fire. The body of the suicide bomber has been recovered and a full investigation has commenced. Members of the public are assured that the criminal elements behind this dastardly attack will be fished out as the government, the Police and other security agencies will not succumb to the demand of any criminal group or individual. the tone is just too soft and passive |
cashful:the story is definitely true as it was aired on NTA news today, though it was silent on who sent them |
1st picture tunde disu, alloy agu let me see 2nd picture(flying eagles 83 set i believe) i could pick alloy agu, Samson Siasia n Andrew Uweh plz confirm i think is the same set |
Definitely not the right step(if the story is true anyway), they do have a right to peaceful protest, but its too early to start judging Rochas, he has plans lets wait and see |
annita19:yea FREE is very ambigous certainly they are not free in some aspects |
sure, very brave people, free? |
Dalby:which bar are they raising, majority of such girls who practice this ends up being the looser, they loose quality men and attract the unserious ones |
Forgetting is very hard compared to forgiving,, generally one should accept what has happened and move on |
annita19:where is this land of the free and home of the brave |
Akolawole:yes you are very correct,Ernest Okonkwo and John Benson, i guess he is from Ghana |
Echala:you are definitely right. Though their products are good. I go for TROPIC ICE (mixed fruits), Nasita Orange (they are new in the mkt) is also okay |
Very lovely thread, i remember the commentator on FRCN describing Andrew Uweh as the tallest man on the pitch but always heading the lowest balls and Sam Pam the shortest man on the pitch but always gets to head the tallest balls, Monday Odiaka(fastest goal at moscow 85) and Uche Okafor(maroc 88) were some my heroes back then |
Katsumoto:very funny chapter in the history of the SE, Definitely i agree with you, the guy has been there all this while because nobody is pushing hard on his position, by now he should be a bit player, just in the team to give morale to the upcoming guys, |
seriously i am not comfortable with Yobo- Efe pairing at the centre of defence for the SE, and presently there are no guys pushing up on this two, adeleye has not been given a look in since Sia1 took over, Apam is just getting back to fitness, just who and where are the future SE defenders |

What are your favorite quotes as relating to Work, Career and the Workplace that have imparted on you, please share some with us here, thanks |
that's OK, he should take his time and move to a good European team |
just go through threads on the sports section and see lot of strikers and midfielders(both capped and uncapped for Nigeria) being celebrated or mentioned for one thing or the other. Even if they are not scoring goals, i believe there are defenders who are doing well and need to be recognized or given a call up |
Kgdavid:I don;t think Fergie got it wrong, its just a case of simply the better team won, presently barca's level is way ahead of any other team. Just imagine Nigeria going to war with U.S or NATO |
Defenders for super eagles. . . This is a joke
no jokes here, seriously we need quality defenders for our team as that department lacks quality personnel. so what I'm asking is who are the upcoming ones and where are they playing presently; also what is the cause of the lack in quality |
up barca @man utd fans:please dont blame the ur coach or players, the kind of football barca plays is very difficult to comprehend by the opponents, they've cloned their players to this style of football which they started 20yrs ago under Johan Cruff (Pep was a player then). |
barca is simply the best for now this is beautiful football |
Years ago the super eagles had many grade A defenders, playing for top clubs (and consistently) in europe back then, players like stephen keshi, uche okechukwu, uche okafor Ben Iroha, Austin Eguavoen, Chidi Nwanu(andelect) presently apart from Taiye Taiwo(A.C Milan) and the fast aging Joseph Yobo (Fenebarche) there is not much to pick from, what is responsible and who are the upcoming ones that we can look forward to |
