Invites for discussion and medicals are out.
Which discussion again o?
Please check your box
@cassano, what would be the dresscode for this?
Congrats to those of you invited for medicals, you're all welcome to big boys club at NB.At this stage,no fear should be displayed at all as you can count yourself in. No mata the medical issue,as long as ure physically fit and not hadicapped, ure ok.
For the discussion, its nothing. They will likely show you a copy of the appoinment letter and let you know what the pay is and bonuses you will get.But if that doesnt happen, still dont fret.

golland:
@ Castano, thats so true, I didnt even think about the free roads, tasks and all outside Lagos. I felt the market is in Lagos and since the head office is here it would be easy and better to get promoted and all.

Well, are we going to be given a choice to choose where we want or we would just get posted randomly? Meanwhile do you have any idea how many people they would be recruiting??

Thanks a lot for all your answers, it has been so helpful
they will post you,u dont choose,
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 6:48pm On Jul 01, 2011
@Golland, thanks. Why are u scared to leave Lagos. The job is easier outside Lagos for some cause they drive on a free road and complete their daily tasks on time. Also, the vehicle is not a truck, its a car with cabin and auxiliary gears for pulling the car easily out of ditches.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 6:18pm On Jul 01, 2011
dunddy i didnt see any mail from u, may be u should resend
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 6:10pm On Jul 01, 2011
@brombrom,being a lady does not reduce ur chances at all.I presently have have 3 ladies in my team at NB. in fact one of the ladies looking so thin and short drives her car like a man and she's highly hardworking.i think she even drive better than i do.so relax when u enter,u will be called a salesman like everyone.
@omolasgidi,stop asking about the pay.The pay is solid and u can own assest in a year if u plan well and dont let people akagum you because you work in brewery. Then everyone will start seeing you as a big boy, please rebuff them and save heavily.Where will u get a job without experience that will give a brand new Mitsubishi, brand new HP, a new phone with N5000 every month? so just hang on there and worry less abt the pay.
@dundy,ur info regarding the pay is wrong.Am sure ur intel is not a salesman, may be he works in another dept.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 1:21pm On Jun 28, 2011
@dunddy,the man is not okoro,he is Mr Okolo a project manager, temporarily deputising in sales as Regional Business manager. He's a nice man and generally would not pick anyone out or be unfair.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 11:35am On Jun 26, 2011
@episkopos and dunddy, u guys worry too much.NB will surprise you two with another thing entirely.anyway, optimism is what we need at NB cause if u gotta sell our beer in outstations, u gotta be optimistic. And you guys are coming in at a time our products are selling ever in history. Before 700 cartons of Heineken gets to warehouse, people are already booking everything
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Castano: 9:51am On Jun 18, 2011
Two years ago,all of us that did the driving test at AA Rescue were called.I dont know if something has changed this year.Since they're speeding things up. It took me a year to get the job in my time but things are moving pretty fast in this one.but not yet uhuru o,there is still one baba test that will be done, like 10 mins test, If you fail that one,ure out.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: BAT Test By Kimberly-Ryan by Castano: 5:11am On Jun 16, 2011

Hey you guys dont worry, you wont be able to say wethere you passed or not from what you wrote down, I remember i felt bad after writing this test two years ago thinking i would fail.but out of about 6000 people that sat for the test,i was among the 200+ they selected. And after that,i still dusted the second test that brought us to like 60.Now am enjoying myself in the company cos its a good place to work.

So you guys should just keep your fingers crossed and pray and stop lameting on the test

from ur story so far,i dont think the medical is the reason they rejected you, it was just a baseless alibi cause it is very strange to have med results after commencements of training.
write to NLC, but dont put any hope you will get justice, but write to them anyway, even if possible to ILO.However, dont spend too much trying to chase the case as this na naija

I've always thought myself to be one of the best scriptwriters in nollywood until i was continously cheated by akajuiba films, duped by one riff-raff called solomon obaseki who posed as a movie producer and one Ugo White who always remove my name as the author of the scripts i sold him. However,if your deal is tight, then i can say you're about to have a real gem on your team
