I don’t even know where people find this money to Japa, yet they say there’s no money and they are suffering. With that money, just open a restaurant. If you do it well you will be tired of money. |
OneCandleAway:Who cares where you're from? Idiot. |
OneCandleAway:'WE?' Who the hell is ''we''? Surely it can't be the same people for whom extra prison spaces are being built, from South Africa to India, due to their obsessive drug trafficking craze bordering on lunacy, for which thousands of them are rotting away in jails across the world? Surely it cannot be that ...set of people. You must mean a totally different 'WE' there. |
People forming unnecessary saint in this country. Even the drug trafficking, how many of you that were hustling as youths would have rejected an offer where you were convinced that a certain route was clear, and all you had to do was deliver the stuff and collect 50,000 dollars, cash? Most of you would have jumped at the opportunity without thinking twice. Just coming here to form saint. ![]() |
jerk:YES. If Obi had a record of Economic Transformation, I wouldn't give two shiits what he did as a youth. Even me, in my younger days, I did all sorts of things. Including many of you here that are pretending. Forming saint. My past actions in my youthful days have ZERO IMPACT on how I would govern today, if given the opportunity. |
PoliteActivist:Dude wake up. You think US law enforcement and the FBI would bring 90 felony charges against a person and none would lead to conviction? Wakey wakey.... Trump is cooked. Many of the cases against him are open and shut cases. There are even some cases where he is recorded in his own voice confessing to his crimes! The guy is toast. The only thing that can save him is if he is re-elected president before the conviction, following which he can pardon himself and escape jail. |
Horus:If they are doing this, it also means they will block the 25 billion dollar gas pipeline Nigeria is building to reach Europe through Niger, Algeria etc. I think Tinubu may just revive those war plans.. But diplomacy should prevail. |
OkCornel:Because whenever I'm on social media, 99% of attacks on Nigeria I read are by Igbos. So it's a fair bet you're one of them. If you aren't, you have my sincerest apologies. ![]() |
DMerciful:Tinubu's achievements in Lagos? It would take ALL DAY to list them, and probably crash the Nairaland server, so here's a link instead: Happy reading! ![]() https://kosofepost.com/2022/08/19/tinubus-achievements-as-lagos-governor/ |
DMerciful:If those criteria you listed are what qualify a place to be called a city, then 90% OF CITIES ON earth are not cities. Even Dubai and Beijing are not cities, since they hold no ''credible elections''. New Delhi, Nairobi, and Johannesburg are not cities, since they do not have ''constant electricity''. Fact is most countries on Earth are developing countries, and their cities often reflect that. The USAs, UKs, Frances, and Germanys are the EXCEPTIONS in a world filled with developing nations, to the tune of 80% of nations. So your definition of what a CITY is, is highly Eurocentric and narrow, and should be abandoned. |
OkCornel:Mr Saint. If you hate criminality so much, why don't you start by helping to stop the drug trafficking widely engaged in by your people? You can't turn a blind eye to criminality occurring in your backyard right now while you attack others for what they supposedly did many decades ago. |
PoliteActivist:NOBODY who had 90 felony charges on his head for rape, fraud, insurrection, and theft etc, can be elected dog catcher in NIGERIA. Stop being thick. |
PoliteActivist:Dude, TRUMP has done 100 TIMES WORSE than what you just listed. Trump is charged with leading an INSURRECTION against the country! His followers broke into the US national assembly in an incident that killed 6 people and damaged the entire building as senators fled for their lives to escape the angry mob, all in an attempt to criminally overturn the results of an election! Do you know that instigating an insurrection is a treasonable offence that used to attract the death penalty in America until very recently? This is what you are comparing to Tinubu not showing you a certificate? You people are crazy! |
WeirdAlien:I Just showed you ''how western countries work'' in my last post about TRUMP. He is top in the US polls despite 90+ felony charges on his head, including rape, embezzlement, insurrection, money laundering, and fraud. Tinubu has never had even ONE single felony charge levelled against him in his entire life! |
PoliteActivist:In the Nigerian context where ALL are criminal suspects only lucky not to have been caught for various transgressions, it is irrelevant. DONALD TRUMP is currently LEADING Joe Biden in the US polls. If an election were to be held today in America, Trump will win hands down, Yet DONALD TRUMP has over 90 FELONY CHARGES ON HIS HEAD. Just yesterday he was in court to contest the damages after having been convicted of fraudulently overestimating the value of his companies to gain billions of dollars in bank loans. And that is a civil case, not one of the 90+ criminal felonies! YET, HE WILL WIN THE ELECTIONS HANDS DOWN IN THE USA TODAY. WHY? Because in his time as president, the US economy was very strong. Finish. Anything else you want to accuse him of, that is your own wahala. As Bill Clinton once famously said, ''It's the economy, stupid.'' Now, TINUBU has a CLEAR RECORD of economic achievement. Economic mastery. He knows how to grow an economy. He has done it before. In the ENGINE ROOM of the Nigerian economy, Lagos State. SO WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? |
Sirianese:IPOB foreigner in a Nigerian forum. |
Isobug:''He that is without sin should cast the first stone..'' Is that not what your Jesus said? Every single one of you has committed a crime at some point in your life for which you should be imprisoned, and barred from contesting for any public office. Whether it is bribing an officer, or stealing something somewhere, you are ALL criminals. Every single one of you is a lying crook. You just haven't been caught. So to sit on some fake high horse, and attack someone else for past transgressions, stinks of high hypocrisy, and you need to stop. |
The most useless and mediocre politicians carry bible and koran around, deceiving the masses while embezzling funds and being useless to the country. And then some guy comes along who knows how to get shiit done, and then you say because he sold dope as a kid, he can't be president of his country? FCK YOU! |
Even IF Tinubu Was A 'Drug Lord', SO WHAT? I mean, the way people talk about this 'drug lord' business.. Even if as a young man Tinubu dealt in drugs, that was a long time ago, and he was never convicted of any offence. So WHY EXACTLY should that be held over his head? I mean, the dude was Governor of Lagos state, and by all accounts, the best governor they ever had by an absolute mile, under whom the state, from anonymity, became the 5th largest economy in Africa. If it takes a drug dealer to do that, then give us more drug dealers, please. The previous 'SAINTS' who had led Lagos state into the gutter included military governors installed by dictators, and utterly useless civilian successors, apart from maybe Jakande and Marwa who tried a little. Then came the JAGABAN. Bobo Chicago. City Boy. Next thing you know, the entire Lagos State becomes a huge construction site, in an infrastructure drive that continues till today, with Lagos State racing far ahead of the rest of the country, under a succession of carefully selected technocrat leaders. If it takes a former drug lord from Chicago to do that, and to teach you fcking moro.ns how to GOVERN YOURSELVES, so be it. If Tinubu can replicate proportionally even HALF the success he achieved in Lagos state, as President of Nigeria, it would be worth it, and the entire nation will feel the difference. So take all that drug bullshiit and GTFOH. |
Ikaeniyan0:I've been saying that Tinubu is too soft. He needs to man up, and shut these people up. |
RenaissanceGuy:Soyinka learnt the hard way. Was it not Soyinka that went to prison because of them, that they started abusing and calling all sorts of nasty names after he disagreed with them? Anybody ''standing with'' these IPOB terrorists masquerading as 'Nigerians' has only him or herself to blame when the inevitable happens. |
EmirofAfonjaz:IPOB TERRORIST, NO, PRESIDENT TINUBU DOES NOT HARASS OR INTIMIDATE HIS ENEMIES. WE KNOW AS AN IPOB NZOGBU NZOGBU TERRORIST YOU WOULD HAVE KILLED ALL YOUR OPPONENTS IF YOU WERE PRESIDENT. BUT TINUBU IS FAR MORE CIVILISED THAN YOU. ATIKU CALLED HIM NAMES AND TINUBU IGNORED HIM, SO WHY WOULD A NONENTITY LIKE DATTI AHMED CAUSE HIM TO RESPOND? |
Mbanda:Who is Datti Ahmed? He is a nobody that was vp candidate for a mediocre, 3rd rate party. Why should Mr President care what a nonentity like that spews on twitter or wherever? Nonsense. |
SoNature:What did his “deputy” do apart from service him in his office? That was his office wife, because she didn’t do anything else but “look after him” under his office desk as he was drinking beer from his brewery, with state doctors and nurses on strike. |
MS2471:Damn. |
I suggest we start a campaign to “Free Obi’s Wife” from his house and his kitchen where he’s locked her all these years. She must be so frustrated. |
SpatialKing:Ewure. |
9jatriot:It’s incredible. |
SoNature:So if the Constitution doesn’t say help women, you won’t help them? You dey crase? That's one of the ways of cutting the cost of governance. His deputy was a woman. You cut the cost of governance by not helping women. See theory. In fact I give up on you people! |
lordimmaogidi:Dude, 1 billion naira is less than 1 million dollars. 1 million dollars is chicken change for a country of Nigeria’s status, with an annual budget of 50 billion dollars. If you are moaning about a mere 1 million dollars the president took out to say “let us help our women”, especially in this trying period, then something is definitely wrong with you somewhere, and you need to take a good, long, hard look in the mirror. |
MS2471:Care to explain? |
Peter Obi has been attacking Mr President for devoting a relatively tiny sum of 1 billion naira to help his wife assist our struggling Nigerian women, and provide them with opportunities. According to him, the First Lady’s only job is to “look after the president”. I have a theory. Peter Obi is a village brought up guy. That’s why he reasons like that. Do you ever see him with his wife? She’s always at home in the kitchen cooking his next meal. To him, that’s the ONLY THING a woman is supposed to be doing. But he needs to understand that the First Lady is not that type of woman that he is used to. She’s an Education graduate from the University of Ife, and a qualified biologist and botanist. She’s not the type of woman that will be sitting around in the parlour all day wondering whether to prepare Egusi or Bitter Leaf soup for his dinner. He also proves right, by his risible utterances, the old adage that you can take a man out of the village, but you can’t take the village out of the man. ![]() |
