Christianity Etc › Re: What Are The Old And New Covenants? by cbjonstage(m): 11:48am On Mar 20, 2009
@ poster,
i must confess that dis is an interesting topic which every individual needs to know.
but where do i begin my own opinion. I KNOW THIS HAS TO DO WITH LAW OF GOD.

Old testament present us where God instructed Moses to "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel." Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments." Exo. 34: 27-28 this literally rings a bell about about what God's hates (the do's and dont's). The law given to Moses has to do with morality of the pple of Israel to live in accordance to His will but instead they break and turned their back on him thats y provided another alternative living according His standard.

Hebrews 10:15-17 clearly presents us a superb covenant which took God and His son Jesus Christ to bring to fulfilment after considering man's transgression to his laws that goes a long way to save him. He look for an alternative to REDEEM MAN FROM SIN because of love He has for his creation and therefore says: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." In my own point of view, it means, before an evil scheme by Man be actualise , there is tendency of this two spirits giving man opinions, which he has to apply economic law: evaluate or making choice and forgone d other. these spirits are the spirit of God and that of the devil, i think what reads next in your mind will explain where i am going, GOD BLESS

i have a question here to ask, which typifies d kinda lifestyle d then pple of Israel was living. WHEN WAS UR LAST TIME U WERE WITH GOD ?

I dont know y nigeria sports politics is full of chaos year by year.
Dropping Ben Iroha isnt a wise decision by d board member of NFF. From d onset, when a leader is out of a group of people (im referring to papa Temi Tela, may his soul RIP), there is need for an assistance to take over d job or even make him to work hand-in-hand Siasia. There is something nigerians have not know about an assistant. An assistant has already fashion-out ways on how he will go about being successfully if given d opportunity. its a shame that chance was not given to him to make a difference!

but since d mantle has given to Siasia, still ok sha! wishing them d best of luck
Family › Re: House Boy Or House Girl? by cbjonstage(m): 10:35am On Mar 04, 2009
For those who r not in support of house-help, reasons behind it r good but it all depends on d motive attached to it.

Pause a little bit and ask urself. DO U RAISE AND BRING PPLE UP or DO U USE AND DUMP THEM IN D BINS? as for me, when im married irrespective of the persons tribe or race nothing will stop me from aving a helper @ home. im gonna share this with my so called wife

for God sake, during the creation of man! God realised is not ideal for man to be alone, bla, bla, bla (HELP-MATE)
im gonna sponsor whoever that is working for me as house-help even to university level as if d person is my own child. I'll take my friends unawares thereby calling him my son jokingly till he becomes a full fledge adult.
Politics › Nigeria (govt) Has Not Been Sincere With His People Especially The Youths by cbjonstage(op): 6:23pm On Feb 26, 2009
How can this be tackle, do we have any spoke-person for the youths within us at all ? Of a truth our lives are endangered mostly every young persons, when a single youth values is distorted, it affects the next person and when this trend continues, one can conclude that majority will be affected. EVERYBODY IS CRAZY ABOUT THIS LEAVING THIS COUNTRY, why can't we come together and be born anew nigeria instead of saying negative things against each other with discouragement. Let see a New Nigeria according to SAMSON ADAH PAUL saying:
A restructuring of Africa's giant
A giant being awakened out of history
A giant being strengthened to cease the moment
A giant being enlightened to create her future

I see the rebirth of true Nigerians
Nigerians that stay true to their conscience
That feels the pain of their neighbour
That responds to the pain of their neighbour
And restore their neighbour from pain

Nigerians that sing along their neighbour
Celebrate the victory of their neighbour
And help sustain their neighbour’s trophy

Nigerians that embrace personal research
She will be so empowered that she would have no option
But to refine our local products unto global hot-cakes

A developed nation war to enjoy her development
But this wars doesn’t involve bloodshed
This wars doesn’t employ fire-arms
This war doesn’t engage violence

This nation must war with itself
She must war to read herself
She must war to reap herself
She must war to ride herself

Until this is done
All available proof of development is just deceptive self-consoling film tricks.

the climax of dis case is that those who instigated this crisis shod be prosecuted even d law-makers who has a hand in this act. i strongly suggest that their (lawmakers in jos constituency) duty-post be taken from them because they didnt exercise their level of education to handle and resolve such a matter as this. This indicate dat they didnt value their God-gifted talents in resolving d matter instead it was throw in d bin (meaning worthless to them). Music/Radio › Get African-china Informed On This Thread by cbjonstage(op): 4:07pm On Dec 12, 2008
I want african-china to wax me a song since it has become a norm for Abuja traders who cannot afford to pay for shops in various locations inrespective of their suffering (less privilege). This has created abuja environmental protection board (AEPB) d opportunity 2 robbed hawkers + road-side traders instead of embarking on their primary assignment which has 2 do wit demolishing illegal structures in d city.

Recently abuja govt mobilised and authorised mobbed armed-policemen to pull-out every goods kept in one warehouse owned by road-side traders and got people's goods striving to survive for sallah/xmas business burnt. This is on heels of conflict between few policemen and the traders @ Wuse Market Abuja.

A place has be earmarked for them but different set of people (AEPB) altogether comes wit their own story making money out of them couple with food sellers, when we have politicians out there robbing us on money meant for developments. Why cant our leaders stick to and implement a system that will favour everyone undergoing hardship?

Every new administration has its own way of making money out of d people instead improving lifes for the people. thats y we still remain in d same state year after year. look at d ministerial nominees going on, still d same old people in time past are being nominated 2 occupy such positions. When do we learn lessons, let thank God dat African doesnt experience natural disasters like other continents

@cbjonstage,you haven't answered me yet wether your download was complete or not.Anyway,if your computer was unable to play the file format(.avi) after you have completed the download, you will need a software called 'fddshow'.This software will encode the .avi file and then play it as video but note that the video has been converted or encoded specialy for Mobile phones. So,if you are using a symbian phone may be Nokia, you will need a software called smart movie or dvd player or divx player in order for your phone to understand the file format (.avi) and play it as video. Before i forget, here is the download link for the fddshow
http://www.vistacodec.com/fc/ffdshow-rev2280-20081102.zip
The size of the file is about 3mb.After downloading, extract the downloaded file and install it on your pc then try to play the file (.avi) and see what happens.Reply if you still have any problem or if your problem is solved. wink
