Huw: You can say that again... What they do is invite qualified candidates from different field of study just to make it clear they offered equal chances to every one and to make a point that the recruitment was just and fair but even before the interview, they already know whom they're recruiting. My opinion though. Now that's soo not true |

Not sure of HIV. Maybe people that have highly infectious diseases.

faith2ogesco: nice insight. but don't wait too long and cc u can still achieve what u wanna after marriage. it jux takes an understanding husband. You can't likely build a career from scratch while raising kids, specially my kind of career, it better you build dt career to an extent before u marry, my emphasis is actually on raising kids wen I talk about being a married woman, tho I know some wise ladies that get married cos it's necessary and delay child bearing till when they think they're ready, but this is naija, u need a lot of liver to do that cos ppl will start asking questions, ever my mum will take it upon herself to start giving me advice. In fact, I can imagine job-hunting, say going for tests and interviews with pregnancy...so we know wat we're saying Nd offcos we'd make sure not to wait too long I know ppl dt took a little time to build a career, then got married nd now both their career nd family life are doing awesomely fine.. faith2ogesco: dats y I ll like to marry a bizminded lady. Reasonable women have plans...many ppl don't like to work to somebody for life but one needs it for starters, u can always do ur own tin later on |

Nigeriaisblessed: Good morning guys, I just completed d part 1 which is competency based test. Fortunately I have received a mail directing me to take the part two of d test. My question is now that the deadline is today, will I be disqualify if I don't take the test today? Please kindly help me because I want to brush myself up with SHL numerical tests questions. Thank you If u read ur mail well, I wanna believe they said u have till the next 7 days to take the test, what closes today is submitting a fresh application so u can take ur time to prepare. However, shell says they treat applications on a first come, first served basis |

cutetonye009: . . :- Who told you life after marriage is meaningless? Marriage can be the sweetest and the most meaningful phase of one's life my dear. Not necessarily meaningless but giving myself devotedly to my marriage when I eventually do means there are some things career-wise that one definitely won't be able to achieve as a married WOMAN so I'd better maximize my singlehood nd set my priorities right before getting married... That's why ppl usually say a woman's career span is very short, why make it shorter by rushing into marriage |

How did I miss this movie from the scratch...anyway its better late than never, it's just a lesson for ppl in so-called love..when u see signs of stuff you ain't totally comfortable with in ur so-called lover, get to the root of it nd if u see him/her not being straight forward enough, take to u heels but the illusion we call love won't let us, it could happen either ways or even on different issues aside financial, if the lady in question had bothered to look well, she should have noticed there were some tins not straight forward about this guy, before he finally played the game on her..anyway hope she gets her money back, what pained me most is the way the so-called lover was bullying her in the chats: shut the f*ck up you'll get your car I'm like :' that coming from my own boo boo' Anyway I pray for babe in question that her eyes of understanding will be enlightened so dt after the whole saga she won't say..challenges are bound to come afterall we both still love each other and we've settled our differences so we can continue with our love.. Good morning y'all |

Amicable09, it annoys me more when some of them even tell me: cc, better hurry up o, I don pick my own certificate, don't get carried away with all these career pursuing....And in my mind I'm like whatever happened to my 5 years toiling to study engineering and get a good grade..for God's sake, there are some things that can only be achieved before marriage and marriage can definitely wait for me to achieve those things. But what can I say again? Each woman to her own oo,afterall na dem dey marry not me, I go meet dem for front. Lemme stop dr before some ppl start saying codename don come again! |

aegis86: Whether it's a "make we test am" application or not WE DO NOT CARE! Whether they called u after 9months, well good luck to u,the thing is if shell didn't want to recruit they wouldn't have done this assessment thing and the fact that they even had to extend the application deadline says a lot and even means they need people. So guys please don't come here to discourage peeps trying to move forward in life after all " NO BE ANIMALS DEY WORK FOR SHELL" they are people like us and that means we can also get there. At least acknowledgment mail is better than regret mail and I can authoritatively tell u that those that will eventually work in shell are from those of us whose application is being considered...So my dear friends be HAPPY that ur application is being considered cuz u just scaled the first stage,be GRATEFUL and don't be dismayed or discouraged and above all be optimistic...put your faith to work,God bless u all! At this point let me quickly say that nobody is trying to discourage anybody...we're only trying to help each other, wat these ppl are saying is dt: in most other recruitment, once u pass the test, all of u dt passed the test are called for interview nd it continues like that but with shell passing the test only qualifies u to be in what I call a candidate pool, the ppl dt will be called for the interview will be a very small percentage nd not even all at once but in trickles around maybe 2 ppl in a month...so it's good that after passing the test don't put ur whole mind in it...just carry on with other stuffs nd WHENEVER they eventually call you, you'll be here. However, I'm in full support of the point that the ppl they will call are part of the ppl in the pool so it can definitely be you or any other person here, offcos nobody said the ppl they eventually employ ain't Normal human beings like you..no, they're are ur normal everyday colleagues in school or elsewhere .... So keep keeping hope alive nd keep keep ur options open, I believe you guys will understand better in another 6 months time wen over 50percent of the applications under review are still under review even tho they all got the 'success mail'... |
