Romance › Re: Giving/receiving Gifts In Relationship: Your Opinion? by cc150615(f): 10:24am On Feb 12, 2016 |
XtraSmooth404: My recent conversation with a close friend got me thinking. Sometime back, she got a gift for her man and the guy went around telling his friends that it was sheer stupidity, that she was trying to use gifts to buy his love. I had to ask if she was the one who asked him out first
Another school of thought is that if she buys him gifts, he assumes she's financially buoyant to take care of herself, hence never bothers about her upkeep.
Personally I love giving. If she feels like surprising me too, that will be awesome! I mean, who doesn't love opening up something from their GF once in a while?
When it comes to giving/receiving gifts from your partner, how do you feel? Are you cool with not getting a gift for an occasion? Who should give gifts more? Do you think giving/receiving gifts is a vital part of relationships? Girls don suffer sha, if she doesn't give gifts, she's a gold digger; if she gives, she's trying to buy his love or too buoyant nd doesn't need care; God will deliver us from u ppl's hands, That said: gifts can be given or received in either directions whether there's sth being celebrated or not, I especially appreciate gifts that come when there's no occasion the most like one I recently got, so please give a gift whenever u feel like it to anyone u feel like and leave ANYBODY to think whatever they want |

agarawu23: oga no be my mouth u go hear say police die but I will give u my own point and it's left for u to follow your mind.
Majority of guys I knew that took their wife abroad regretted it. Here on NL, we have read many cases too. I have a family member in UK that's now mentally ill when he caught his wife cheating with a foreigner. It wasn't "den say den say" he caught her pant down. (A Lady that has 3 grown up kids already)
I remember when I told my dad I want to bring my babe here with me, the next thing he said was " do u remember Mr lagbaja and Mr lagbaja's" case? A lady that loves you will wait for you.
Though some are enjoying it BUT majority are regretting it cos our ladies eyes dey open when u bring them abroad most especially when they start to move with friends.
I will advice you to come and settle with her in Nigeria than to take her there.
Though ladies aren't the same but I am talking from experience.
Cc samhay Nd if he has sth permanent doing there with no plans of coming back soon in view? |

GworoChewinMaga: She was too busy applying her makeup when she was supposed to do a simple pre flight check
Only engine oil pressure can lead to a helicopter engine burning out
And this is something she ought to have notice before take off or a few minutes into flight.
If not, then she probably burned the engine by applying too much thrust.
She belongs in the kitchen like every other woman. Bad belle, you're obviously intimidated |

Well like the news said, it wasn't exactly a crash but a controlled ditching nd dt probably explains why no life was lost, the pilot probably saw reasons why he couldn't continue the journey safely nd an emergency ditching was the safest way whereby all the passengers would have been pre-informed an well prepared for ditching. But anyways we still thank God for safety of all the lives. |

Dearie, not all the time interviewers are frowning....many of dem smile nd even consciously make effort to make u feel at home, so dy can get the best out of the potential employee, but the key to confidence is not to take the interview like a do or die affair. As a quick one, confidence was never an issue for me as per interviews even right from my very first, but sometimes it could be just one little thing I didn't find out or sth I could have added to sell myself better, so don't get carried away paying attention to confidence, prepare well and dot all i's. Nonetheless, there were some others confidence was top notch nd we did well in the discussions but for reasons known to God and we came to understand later, we never get called back...so in all do ur best and leave the rest to God
Remember I'm passionate to see you succeed. |

Salvame: please it's a matter of urgency, my sister saw a vacancy and decided to try it out and lo and behold it was GNLD.They have succeeded in convincing her.based on what I have been reading here,I know it's a bad idea but I don't know how to convince her.please nairalanders, tell me about this gnld people so as to save my sister from danger.thank you Well I'll tell u sincerely, like that guy said gnld isn't a job but an investment opportunity, so if ur sister has some PLENTY MONEY in one box dt she won't be needing anytime soon that she can use to buy some drugs that she will have to explain big grammars and convince people to buy not because they are necessarily sick but just as healthy supplements, then she should consider joining them, but she shouldn't see it as a source of income cos before she will balance well nd start earning anything good will be after she has hustled long enough nd referred enough ppl who have also referred ppl...wic could take about 5 years...all those sweet things they say in their induction about travelling out and all don't come until you're a big boss which takes a lot of time nd money but the first few years would be spent hawking drugs, convincing ppl to come nd join the business and offcos looking for more money to invest since that also boosts your growth Hope dis helps |
