Amicable09 dearie, this supposed to be like a reply to the last update in ur diary but since I can't reply there I had to post it here, I must say I like ur hustle nd resolve to get a job, but on the other hand u need to have some chill in ur soul...lemme tell u my story
you see I wrote my first job test about a month after I passed out from nysc nd the interview followed immediately then the waiting began, while waiting I actually wrote over a dozen other tests all to no avail nd not cos I wasn't passing the tests. Then, finally about 9 months later, I got that job from my first ever test...nd in my mind I was like if I knew it would come I wouldn't have bothered writing the dozen others but then man can't stop hustling until u get to finish line...but there was one lesson I learnt, if I had gotten any of those other jobs I pursued, specifically a particular one I cried when I knew I didn't get it, (cos I really put a lotta effort into dt particular one), it would have most definitely hindered me from getting the original one I finally got, nd offcos the one I call original was better in every way than all the others I tried
...so what's the moral lesson...
when you have done ur part, learn to float in God's hands and let Him do the rest *in my boss' voice...

Anyways, the uni discrimination is soo uncalled for no matter how they wanna explain it, but as for those of us like me dt didn't go to unis that have big names, I just don't want u to get pained cos the reasonable companies know that wat a graduate has to offer is far beyond his/her university name,nd dts why the sensible companies have all unis in their list. In fact wen some finish listing they will still have space for others just in case they didn't include your school because they know that the fact your school isn't popular doesn't mean u don't have sth nice to offer them, so please forget these lorache ppl, who even knows them self abi the nameless fmcg they're recruiting for...nd see all the plenty tests...all these coy wey wan pay 50k na dem still dey do 1million tests like this before recruitment....In short ehn let's #LeaveTrashForLawma

Right from my final year companies and banks have been coming for talents trying to conduct aptitude test, we dey bullshit them. Ask Access Bank them be regular customer for Julius Berger hall.

I met all the requirements but even if I didn't, I do not think it is wrong for an employer to choose the[b] "best"[/b] universities and the class of degrees. it all boils down to the pandemic unemployment ravaging the country which makes some firms to demand some crazy requirements such as under 26 with 5 years experience and so on.

Business development whatever is packaged name for marketers in most coys where renumeration nd promotion would be based on the crazy targets they'll be giving you, besides with a start up firm, a lot of patience is required for you to really start gaining much experience or stuffs for ursef,
But with the bank you're an hr personnel so definitely no ridiculous targets..nd also like others rightly said you'll get good training nd experience working with lotta smart experts..
Having said all...I strongly think u shd take the bank job

But they're all wonderful ppl...

I really don't know where to start from and everyone will agree with me that the family is large, I wish I can get a comprehensive list of all the monikers here and mention you all one by one but my list is so not comprehensive *sad

In 2015, I found love and solace in the strangest place! Jobland Avenue, Km 35 Nairaland Expressway, Nigeria. Every single moniker really shaped me unknowingly, you guys made me more confident and less worried about my employment status...lol. Everyday I step in here, I find more reasons than one to be joyful. In all humility, cc150615 you are my secret confidence booster!
