Bitterleafsoup:Your stupidity has no rivalry. A seminar is a meeting for discussion or training. You can do it anywhere as long as the tools are in place. From your comments, you have no clue what that is. Poor uninformed guy.... |
Bitterleafsoup:The ignorance. ... What is a seminar? When you know the definition, you would answer your own question. To help you however, the answer is Yes! You CAN have a seminar in the boardroom. |
Bitterleafsoup:Question for you... Does a meeting in the boardroom meet the objectives of the meeting? Why speak in an auditorium if you are talking to a specific number that can be accommodated in the boardroom. Did you check the verified pages of USIP? Do not speak based on your perceived knowledge or assumption. Get facts straight. I care not about Aisha or whoever. What bothers me is the ignorance spewed by my countrymen. Looking at all these comments, Nigeria ' s problem is not the government, it is us the youths. I would be scared to give power to the youths as well, based on the level of immaturity and ignorance in most comments |
Beadex1:Judging from the comments on here, I do not expect you to read to understand or comprehened |
Why are you people so silly and uninformed? I have no political inclination, so I am not supporting any party. My comments are based solely on facts. You all can take the time and data to actually surf the net for information when in doubt. The twitter account and Facebook account of the United States Institute of Peace clearly comments on Aisha ' s visit. These are verified pages i.e Twitter and Facebook and if fake, would have consequences on the Institute. Institutes like that have core ethical values enforced by law, as such, you can take what they say to the bank. What is it with you people? Aisha is not a president that everything she does has to be met by Michelle Obama. Most of the pictures you have been posting on here of Michelle with wives of heads of states are in her capacity as the hostess i.e wives accompanying their husbands (presidents) on their official trips, as such, Michelle will play a hostess role. Aisha went not in an official capacity. There is structure to doing things people. A wife of a president is not a news worthy event. So talking about CNN carrying the story etc shows a level of stupidity. I shake my head for my country.. |

deletrue:You were told? By your colleagues in the House of Reps or where. She has a right to say what she feels regardless of whose ox is gored. Sometimes, I wonder why a lot of idiots are allowed to comment on this forum. It's people like you that still believe in witches and wizards and would stand in line to get rice in exchange for a vote. I suggest next time, seek facts and not 3rd party heresy. I doubt a retard like you would know anyone that is a source of credible information anyway. |
Sorry to say this. I am Nigerian, half Hausa and Yoruba, but sometimes I think a lot of folks here are just plain stupid. Its 7 km of road, about 4 miles. It is not a favor. It is not a big deal. These are things you guys shoul have as standard. Good roads, schools, eletcricity, water etc are not luxuries, they are standard. I see drum rolls and all that stuff when a governor does stuff that you should not even blink about. Same Nigeria I see where a governor donates sewing machines and its pages upon pages of commemoration. ( NOTE THAT THOSE PAPER ADVERTS ARE PROBABLY MORE THAN THE GIFTS ANYWAYS ). We are supposed to be the smartest people ever, but sometimes, I am shocked by our own stupidity. It is not rocket science. iT IS YOUR COLLECTIVE WEALTH AND WHERE IT GOES IS NOT SOMEONE DOING YOU ARE FAVOR. it is your right as humans. You are not sub-human, so please stop with the crap. |

Bet you look good in your pencil skirt now. lol Add or is it follow me.....Make we dey chat dey go |
and oh Kulyie, did you get your big bum yet lol |
kulyie: the chinese or japanese culture is it derogatory to women.take it or live it,there are some culture/tradition that tampers on your fundamental human rights, thank God those cultures have faded or are fading away e.g forcing a widow to drink the water used in washing her late husbands body, forcing a widow to marry her husbands younger brother after his death good to know those barbaric cultures are been done away with.check the japanese or chinese culture and tell me whether it subjugates women.note thatI agree with you on being against retrogressiveness, but I hope you get where I am coming from. Japanese women are more docile than our African women. They kneel and watch the man eat. lol Anyways, where are you based? I be Naija man, not typical though...... |
kulyie: indirectly forcing someone to kneel down and apologize is tantamount to waste of time.yorubas say kneeling down is not character.i can kneel down and say sorry ma or i am sorry sir and not mean it from my mind,i am just doing it to satisfy my husband.it will only encourage eye service from the womanKulyie. You are a typical Naija woman with some shallow minded 'I don travel" mentality. I suggest you read the post before you start shouting about what you will do or whatnots. I assume you are not based in Naija because you sound like so many Naija women that travel and then suddenly decide they are so exposed as to forget your core and fundamental values that you were brought up with. It is Naija culture to kneel, just as it is oyinbo culture to shake hands. When oyinbo fight and they tell them to shake and make up or kiss and make up, it is their way. The aide is a relative. Most likely an older relative and what would you expect? As I remember it, the offending party apologises to an older relative and that's how I see it. In fact , I believe the man was not even a complete dictator as there was an option. Apologise or leave. It is African. It is who we are. Our culture defines us. Don't come here and start saying Naija people are barbaric, they are this, they are that..... Most Naija babes after dem travel dey get some kind of stupid mentality. They screw their marriages up because of that notion that some other culture is better than theirs and you see them doing stuff that even their kin would be ashamed of. Respect your culture. The chinese, japanese respect theirs. It is a blessing to have a culture. You are not subhuman. Dont be silly. BTW.. No be fight o |
Bee. Did you get my email? |
@ My new friends. Semuhle and ?. I sent you email. Dont know how email works on here though. See.....we making friends even on a thread as this.....lol |
@ ? and Semhulee. i am following you guys. Do add me...... |
Great thread. Its nice to see that we are all so very intolerant of ourselves. Nigerians get vilified every time but they do not go out of their way spewing insults to prove a point. I guess we know who we are and words do not hurt. I have lived in South Africa for 5 years and it is true that MOST SA folk will go crazy when they perceive a threat. Like a poster here said. It shows psychological inferiority. Heck I have been asked 'What are you doing in my country? ' like so many times. 'To study you dumb f.....' But having said that, I believe that most people who act like that are the ones with a myopic view of the world. Find out and you will discover that they see the whole world as being within the confines of SA. They have never traveled out of SA and will rarely have a passport. IF they do, it is because they are coming to the same Nigeria on the tab of their NIGERIAN boyfriend. The sweetcheecks of this thread fall into that category. But on the other hand is SEmuhlebaby. You can tell from her posts that while she does try to support her country, she does so in a calm manner and mature way. That indicates someone with a wider knowledge of the world. Traveled, educated and mature. So there are always two sides to a coin. While every SA person might not be fun, some like SEmuhle are. I have met the good and the bad. My 2 cents are the more educated and traveled an SA person is, the less they get involved in xenophobic talks. I always tell SA people that they see Nigerians the way they do because they hang out with the scum of Nigerians. I mean, an average SA girl goes after an uneducated, illiterate, drug peddling Nigerian and she honestly expects to see him in a good light? Pluuuuuuesssse.... There are good and bad on every level, every country and race. Look for the good and you will find it.... BTW. I honestly think SA is the most beautiful place in the world. The garden route is amazing and lekker...lol |
