Please I got a conditional offer from university of hertfordshrine on Monday and I uploaded the documents they requested. On Tuesday they sent me a pdf format of the conditional offer, key factor, programme specifies and others. I’m yet to get the unconditional offer and I am getting worried, abeg how long does it take to get unconditional offer after you get the conditional offer?

Hertfordshire is pretty fast by my reckoning. After I got my Conditional Offer, I uploaded my documents through my phone since June 2nd, mind you, the school advices using a system to upload documents in order to fully access some features. I only got an acknowledgement email after that, then waited till around 20th June and yet nothing. I had to contact the school Rep who then assisted me upload the documents on the 21st, I got my Unconditional Offer the next day 22nd, including the Invoice for deposit. Think the delay was cos I used a mobile phone.

I just felt the first lil kick from the pups this evening! Was feeling Kenya's belly when I felt them kick back with their tiny lil feet, this means their organogenesis and skeletal formation is complete. At least they should be getting covered with fur by now. I'm so excited!

Exactly! Seeing same questions repeated over and over again is exhausting! Simply do your due diligence and read backwards, except it's a special situation, your question has been asked and answered before.

Also read up on your school website, don't be lazy. Read that e-mail they sent you, it might also contain the answer.

Kenya is getting heavier, her belly continues to increase, her teats have turned darker. She drinks and pees a lot maybe cos the pups are pressing against her bladder, her appetite comes in spurts, she does not finish her normal ration at once any more so I leave the food with her to eat free choice. Her breathing is heavy, shallow and laboured, almost like she's struggling to breathe, I understand it's the less room inside her. She now walks with a ''swagger'' and is noticeably pregnant. Her energy level is still high, though she can't really play even if she wanted to. Let's see how this ends.

Today Sunday 20th June 2021 and it's a wrap for the 6th week and 2nd trimester. As from tomorrow, we hit the last trimester. Her appetite picked up, along with excess energy. The discharge has dried up, belly size and her teats all slightly increased.

Some burukutu sipping stinky mouths think they can hold an entire nation to ransom. I still remember the press interview held by the onion sellers association. Clowns!

The week has been moving smoothly; appetite up by more than 50% but she takes breaks in-between meals, like she starts eating, then takes an abrupt stop, runs around or maybe lies around a bit kinda to catch her breathe, then resumes eating and repeat. Against my expectation, she's brimming with some sort of unexpendable amount of energy, running and jumping with reckless abandon. I came back today to meet a distended belly, a bit bigger than I left her I think, don't know what cos I'm sure she didn't have too much to eat. The discharge still persists though.

Kenya had this clear mucus discharge from her vulva today Tuesday June 15th, it was like some gelatin or something. Don't know how long it'll last though. I can't feel the pups any more, feels super mushy. Believe all is going as normal.

Today Sunday, 13th June 2021 makes it 5wks after Kenya was bred. Her energy bounced back towards the end of last week, but her appetite is almost sub-zero. There's a slight increase in her belly size and the teat area. She easily gets angry these days and growls, even when playing. We'd see how this 6th week will look like.

I went to their office in Lagos, it seems the website is not OK for now cos a lot of people were there also with the same complaints. Anyways, we filled a form and they gave us a date. They said we would get a mail confirming our appointment and if we didn't get any mail, we should just come on our appointed date, they would use the form we filled to cross-check our names.

That cancelling thing doesn't work, Your appointment is still active on their database, so you need to call them to help your reschedule manually if they will pick their call or you can go to their office if you are In Abuja or Lagos to get a date.

Thank you, may be going to their Lagos office by next week, they don't seem to pick their calls.

I booked for TB test for August but had to cancel when I saw a closer date but while trying to submit the new one, it kept on bouncing me, telling me my email exists in the database. Even I tried with another E-mail address and I got an error message on the email verification page. Is it possible that I have been banned or something? How can i fix this, please?

Yeah, it does happen. The repeat sessions are probably just to be double sure there's enough sperm around about the time she ovulates but I think that if you do your calculations well and get even the tiniest bit of sperm in when she's at her most fertile stage - between the 10th and the 12th day post bleeding - it's definitely going to result in a pregnancy. No need to waste the sperm, after all, all you need is a sperm cell per egg.

On another note, since after Kenya, I've gone on to perform AI on two other dogs and they're all pregnant. I used the crudest of tools and simplest of methods and it was all successful. Key is knowing when the bitch is most fertile, even without all them Progesteron level checks.

Not much has changed this week, appetite is little, she looks stressed, although her energy got back a little. The pups have gotten considerably large in there and have started feeling mushy to touch.

Hello

So today, Kenya woke up very weak and stressed-looking. She even threw up, even before she had anything to eat, guess that's the onset of the morning sickness. And she didn't eat much too, despite having chicken in her meals. She was also lying down after any short walk. I guess it's all part of the ride.

Today, Sunday 6th of June, 2021, is exactly 4wks down the line and it's been all eventful. Kenya's appetite has plummeted, though she picked up a bit today. She has learned a new habit of lying down to eat, in fact, she's been lying down more frequently now,maybe out of tiredness, or she's just being lazy and trying to adjust to all that's going on with her body. I don't even have to control her movement any more, she runs around a bit, then plops to the ground again to catch her breathe. Her belly and waistline are gradually filling out, giving away the fact that the pups are growing in size too. Oh, about that, it seems they're growing every hour, cos when I palpate her in the evening, they could be like groundnut seeds then by the next day, they've already doubled in size. Now they are like small tennis balls And I'm thinking I was too fast in guessing how many they were earlier, I can only make out like 3 balls in there now. But I'm not expecting a large litter, owing to the fact that this is her first time and she was bred only once. We'd see how it turns out though.

Her teats are rapidly filling up, I think everything is just getting bigger and bigger. I had her belly area shaved off today to provide for a better view, prepare for breastfeeding, and also make her more comfortable.

There has been no discharge, at least I haven't seen any yet. Her vulva is neither swollen nor shrunken.

I hope for more progress in the coming weeks. Sorry I couldn't take any photos of her today, I'm was so occupied, maybe tomorrow.

Major update guys!

This 4th week is just full of surprises First of all, Kenya's appetite has plummeted! She doesn't like anything any more, just sniffing and looking at her food, although she eventually takes a few bites. I meet her plate almost the same way I left it, but she drinks a lot. That has not affected her weight though, on the contrary, she seems to be putting on weight daily. She also seems kinda aggressive towards my other dogs. Her energy level is still optimal, now I can safely allow her play around a bit longer.

Her teats have gotten rounder, darker and more visible, even dropping down a bit when she's standing.

I palpated her yesterday and today and though I'm not a Vet, I could feel things like hard lumps in there. It's my guess she might be carrying in excess of 4 puppies!

I know it's a little too early but yes, I can confidently say that Kenya is definitely pregnant.

1st trimester done

Today, Sunday 30th of May, 2021, makes it 3wks since Kenya ate the apple. This means we're successfully done with the 1st trimester. She has been herself, no major changes recorded apart from her appetite and the slight swelling around her teats. The lumps seem to be spreading and getting harder, her lower teats are also getting darker. Energy level is optimal.

We'll see how the 2nd trimester goes. Fingers still tightly crossed.

Noticed that there's something like a lump forming on each of her teats.

Sunday 23rd May 2021

Today, Sunday 23rd May, 2021, makes it exactly 2wks since Kenya was bred. Nothing much has changed, save for her teats which kinda seem rounder and firmer, compared to her previous state. Remember I complained about her appetite plummeting? It's back with full force now, thanks to good old chicken!

She didn't seem to like the leg tying so much and I hate to see her unhappy, so I tossed the rope, but I still regulate her movement somehow.

Her vulva is almost done reducing to normal size, no discharges recorded.

Body weight is ok, she's just fine like this.

As at today, her appetite seems a bit off beat. I had to give her only boiled fish and the fish stock yet she only ate a bit. This evening, I plan giving her only chicken offcuts and see if I can arouse her appetite again. I don't want to go back to that time when she does not like her food.

I still try to limit her movement, she only comes out to eliminate. Other times, she runs around at the balcony.
