hurray, d pups are coming!!! make way!!! |
First I must say that these are valid points, irrespective of who raised them. Though we have not spent time to allay the fears in some people's mind, owing mostly to the fact that the "intellectuals" have not really bought into the idea because of several issues. The following opinions are just my thoughts: 1. In history, the Igbos are the only tribe that never fought or went to war to annex or subjugate any other tribe. It's not in us to try to force ourselves on others. Even when we travel to other lands (and we travel a lot), instead of forcing ourselves on others, we pick up their language and other culture. We believe in live and let live. So there is no fear of igbo subjugation whatsoever. A people who have been marginalized knows how it feels to be at the receiving end of the line. So do you think they will like to do that to others? The Igbo people like competition, so if you can't thrive, it will look as though you are being suppressed.. 2. Right from 1967 when the war broke out and Biafra was declared, the Biafran map has always had the entire Niger-Delta covered. And it is also in history that they joined in fighting the war until things started getting awry and some developed cold feet, which of course is understandable because they felt they had the chance to join the FMG and not be affected by the starvation. Till now the map has not been changed therefore we still make use of it. 3. The Capital of Biafra as at the time of it's declaration was Enugu. At that time, nobody raised any hell as to it's location and nothing has been done about it since then. I believe all these issues can be resolved once a referendum has been conducted. If Enugu does not appeal to everybody, then a consensus can be reached. Wherever the capital is, the main issue is wide-spread development. Take a look at China, despite the location of it's capital, there is still development in other cities. That is unlike Nigeria that concentrates on only it's capital and one or two cities. And btw, it is also In history that the late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu held a meeting with the elders of the Niger Deltans, telling them of the odds of joining the Biafran side and they willingly joined, further disputing the fact that we forced them or anybody into the Biafran entity. 4. The language of Biafra has always been English. If there will be any change to that, it will be widely discussed. Taking China as an instance, despite the sheer size of the control, with over 56 ethnic groups, they chose Mandarin as their official language and nobody is complaining. For all other issues, I highly recommend the book IN BIAFRA AFRICA DIED, THE DIPLOMATIC PLOT BY EMEFIENA EZEANI. |
Eyaa, sorry. I know how it feels. is it only throwing up and drooling? maybe u should try flagyl and tetracycline. for now u 're d doctor so use ur no 6. All d best dear. |
Ifite Unizik gets electricity from around 9pm till around 7-8am. And dats not even daily o. There may be intermittent flashes during d day and also outages during d night. I don't see Nigeria solving her power issue in d next 10yrs. |
My thought: D "company" wanted to create a scenic environment for their business to thrive. D area has not received govt attention. D company approaches d govt for approval to landscape d roundabout and possibly part-funding. Their design and offer was okayed. The company, in order to draw attention and patronage for being d ones who did d job, put up a billboard (1st mistake), with their name and logo and dat of Lagos State Govt on it (2nd mistake). What I think should be done is for d govt to request for d removal of d billboard and probably, issue a statement on dat to clear d air. Case closed. I for one executed a similar project around my area, more like a community development service. |
No pics? |

I don't know what am still doing in this country. Anytime you post an update, all I see is an organized and working system. It's torturing me, I want to go 'home'! |
Pls guys, am a novice in all these things. Just borrowed my neighbor's lappy to type my project and discovered the Windows has been activated. Moreover, there is no Microsoft Word on it. She doesn't have the product key and I really need to type this thing today. Can anybody help me out plllsssssss? |
Rabbits are induced ovulators, meaning that they don't come on heat like other animals. This makes them ready to mate at anytime, even immediately after giving birth. But if the doe is mature enough for breeding and she isn't receptive to the buck due to it's being her first breeding or any other reason, then you have to force breed her. This is provided you have a virile buck. Just tie a small piece of rope around her tail. Hold her down and gently raise her tail by pulling the rope up. This will allow the buck mount and breed her. A successful breeding is followed by the buck falling backwards or sidewards. Repeat the process for about 2times more then return both bunnies to their separate cages. Then count 31 to 33 days forward and expect the miracle of life. NEVER allow the buck near the doe during the gestation period as she may be bred again, resulting in a subsequent pregnancy. This will eventually cause an abortion of both former and latter fetuses. |
Please anyone with bundles of good yielding cassava stem cuttings around Awka or it's environs should alert me. It's really urgent! |
It's the simplicity of your stories. Now it's not as if I've not read similar stuff outside here but yours is so real, like very very real. It makes one hunger for what you have. It's like living in and seeing Yankee through your eyes, the everyday activities. That was before these guys came and spoilt the fun. Pls do send us an update soon, my eyes are itching to read. |
On point. Keep the update rolling |
Guys pls, can y'all shilt your swords and let's move forward? This is becoming boring and annoying. I think this thread has been hijacked. Franknetter nwanne, am still waiting for your exciting posts. Don't keep me waiting... |
4dor:We are not saying corruption started around 2015. The issue is going to say it at the international scene. Comon!, who does that?! Is there no corruption in the American system, albeit on a low level? How often do you see the president of a country going to rubbish his state before the world? It seems he only remembers his country is corrupt and picks his lines once he's traveled. And have you noticed that the tiny shred of respect Nigeria had has gone since he came onboard? No country takes the "giant of Africa" serious anymore. Even Mali and war-torn Libya now deport our citizens. Nigerians are killed with impunity outside and nothing happens cos they know the Nigerian govt won't do jack. Me am just waiting to round-off my program here and scram! |
