You don't necessarily need IELTS to secure a job, BUT it is part of the prerequisites for VISA application to prove your English language proficiency.

So often times, employers MIGHT prefer to hire someone who's documents are already complete to facilitate/hasten the process.

I had also did 5 interviews for the post of senior healthcare assistant till now no response to know if am successful or unsuccessful. It's actually tiring but I won't give up.

For someone without any background in healthcare, how can she get trained asap so as to be able to apply for the social worker advert by the UK govt. Can doing a volunteer caregiver work in a hospital help to gain reasonable experience that can assist one to get work? How long can the volunteer work last? What certification can she get from the trainer?
