Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Ceeflo(m): 4:21pm On Sep 10, 2020
Good evening,

I’m not trying to deviate from the ongoing conversation, and would like to encourage anyone applying to believe and provide all the documents accordingly and you’d be fine. You would only get rejected if you falsify documents or aren’t able to convince them over your interview (in the case of older applicants).

Now, to my question. Has anyone been able to successfully purchase flight tickets to Lithuania ? I can’t seem to get a direct itinerary/ linked flights to Lithuania and I’ve been hearing it might be a problem to travel with two separate tickets. I understand that there are people here who have some experience with these things and some also also making the trip. I’d massively appreciate your thoughts and insight. Thanks in advance.

Hi.... God bless you bro for the indepth analysis and insight. As regards the skvc, I applied for skvc evaluation,I was told to bring evidence that I need skvc evaluation from Lithuanian employer or higher education from in Lithuania before they will go ahead with my evaluation process. The question is how do I get any of this evidence because I was applying on my own. I need more information on the skvc . Thanks

It was a prerequisite for my admission, the school helped me with it before I was allowed to proceed, this was after paying my application fee. It’s important to have an skvc, but if you don’t I’d encourage you to pass your documents through the ministry of education and foreign affairs.

,...... What are the documents u submitted , yes I think so, they Will still call u for interview except the process has been changed. Best of luck in view and try they package your winter boots and Cardigan.

I’m an MSC applicant, so I had to include a strong motivation letter, proof of work, with salary slips. Letter of intent to study addressed to my office (believe they’re called NOCs), cv, study leave approved by my office and then a sponsor letter, sponsors proof of employment, sponsors financial documents (salary/tax slips) like Chris mentioned in an earlier post. Had my certificates notarized, data page of passport for myself and sponsor, admission letter, skvc, proof of admission, proof of payment of fees, mediation number/letter from school, two passport photographs in white background, visa application slip, birth certificate. You can also refer to previous conversations on here for more info. Chris has been extensive. Best of luck to everyone, all of us.

I submitted on the 29th of June. Will be 3 weeks on Monday. The interview is at the decrition of theEmbassy. They decide who should be interviewd or not. It will porobabaly be a long wait. We shall see. Did you not ask the guys at VFS,, what was their answer?

Guys at VFS said D visas take some time and that an interview could possibly happen. The borders aren’t open yet anyways, and I believe they’ll put school resumptions to consideration. We’ll see how it goes.
Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Ceeflo(m): 5:22pm On Jul 15, 2020
Finally made my submission, does anyone know how long the process for the D visa might take ? Any ideas Chris ? Do you envisage we’d get feedback before September ?? Are interviews a compulsory step in the process to obtaining the visa ?
Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Ceeflo(m): 11:46pm On Jul 11, 2020
chrisderson:
Some of the documents depend on whether you are applying for MSc or BSc.

I applied for MSc so I submitted the belwo., They will sight the Original but you will only submit the Copy:

Passport data page (Same for if you have previous passports)

Neco or WAEC Certificate

Health Insurance

Degree Certificate

Degree Transcripts

Some other professional certificates

My Bank Statement (Masters students are advised to have their own bank statements with funds in it and/or that shows the proof of employment or economic activities. Can also be for the purposes of sponsoring your education in Lithuanian.... You should also include a sponsor's bank statement. BSc students can just show their sponsor's bank statements ) The thing is, if you are going for BSc, it is expected that you are still too young to sponsor yourself. If you are going for BSc but you already have employment, not bad if you include your own bank statement

A motivational letter that will clearly state why you have chosen your course of study, why you have chosen the school and why you have chosen Lithuania. This letter must include your research ambitions for the chosen course

If you are self-employed, they gonna need your certificate of business Incorporation from Corporate Affairs

A letter from your sponsor and his/her bank statement

Try to notarize all your academic credentials like WAEC/NECO, Degree certificate and transcripts (If applicable)

You only pay a processing fee of 11 thousand naira. If you want your passport mailed back to you when it is back from the embassy without you going to VFS, then you will be made to pay another 4 thousand naira for that.

Did you pay via POS or you went with cash, and will you say transcripts are very important for msc submissions, considering we have our skvc and notarized certificates ? I have my transcript copies, but I’m submitting on Monday, and don’t have it notarized, I have the rest of everything you stated. Can’t notarize on a Sunday, do you think I should put in the transcript as it is, or just keep it out of my other documents considering it is the only thing that isn’t notarized ? Monday is the only submission day, and I can’t afford to submit next Monday.
Politics / Re: Buhari Must Resign - Gov Fayose Fights Garba Shehu On Channels Tv [video] by Ceeflo(m): 8:17am On Jun 02, 2017
So much sense to Fayose's words. The president has to acknowledge the fact that his health status is derailing the growth of the country. I think his Agenda and Osinbajo's might just differ. I seriously doubt if there's a laid out template. This incoherence is a plague on Nigerians. I know Fayose can be capricious and at times impetuous, but he got this one spot on. Finally, you cannot expect any frank analysis or logic from Garba, he's under the presidents pay roll, he's only doing his job. Deep down he knows the truth. Even blind men can feel the hardship in this country. Shame on APC for deceiving Nigerians, shame shame shame!

Events / Cross Over Jam 2016 Official Press Release by Ceeflo(m): 11:34am On Apr 19, 2017
The Crossover Jam 2016 Highlights

The city of Abuja witnessed its first ever, official countdown into the New Year, 2017. The event which was tagged CROSS OVER JAM was hosted by Theo Godson Company Limited, an Entertainment and I.T outfit centred on bringing imaginations to life, through its distinct products and wide range of services. The countdown event, was set up to create synergy amongst the residents of Abuja and the people of Nigeria. It was also conceptualised for everyone to go into the New Year in the most remarkable way, with lasting impressions and colourful memories. Cross Over Jam 2016, had Pulse NG, Cool FM, Abuja Facts, Get Gadgets Nigeria, and 41Naija Entertainment amongst its list of partners, as well as other media outfits.
Cross Over Jam 2016, which was built around unique and specific concepts, had fireworks, wishing lamps, shout outs and the official countdown clock as highlights of the day. Abuja residents, in their hundreds thronged to the Tobix Recreational Gardens to witness and be a part of the historic occasion, and the rather enthusiastic crowd was seen to be excited as the event rolled on. There were musical performances from guest artists, and also interesting competitions for the kids in attendance.
The ambience was one of a kind, as the clock ticked towards 12am, 1st of January 2017, the crowd chorused together the last seconds of 2016, with the fireworks going up soon after, as well as the lit up wishing lamps, between shouts of “happy new year”. The significance of the event was clear to see, as happiness and the spirit of oneness was in the air. People gathered, stayed into the early hours of the morning, as the celebrations, fireworks and music remained on.
The event, according to the C.E.O of Theo Godson Limited, Theophilus Godson is the first of its kind in Abuja, and has the potential to be a landmark event and annual marker for every resident of Abuja, and also Nigeria as a country. He also talked about Cross Over Jam 2017, which he promised will build on the first edition, with more packages and content to blow the minds of everyone. The second edition is set to hold in December, 2017. It will be another opportunity for Nigerians to come together, to reminisce on all the remarkable experiences from this year, and also to go into the New Year in the best of ways. The event this year has been billed to host thousands of Abuja residents, with plans already in play to have the largest single countdown event ever in Nigeria.
While events of this manner, have happened in different parts of the world, the initiative and resolve to recreate something unusual in these parts is commendable, the spotlight is on and we can only look forward to a superb CrossOver Jam 2017.

Literature / Re: The Most Memorable Book You Read by Ceeflo(m): 7:45am On Apr 09, 2017
Great expectations by Charles Dickens. Very remarkable read mostly because of the sincerity of the first person narrative, and all the morals that I could sift from its pages, and even though it's a classic, it has always been so relatable. Tells us that we don't always get the things we want, and dreams and expectations can go through several dynamics, love too.

There's no better way to go into the New Year than with love, happiness and the exceptional feeling of oneness. For the first time ever, Abuja will be counting down to the absolutely promising 2017! . We have seen it happen everywhere, but this time around we will be having ours.

There will be a massive clock for follow up, entertainment - comedy, dance, drama, celebrity guest appearances. Fireworks, great music and so much more. If you'll be going to the church or wherever that day, you can still join us in time for the tremendously memorable event.

There are also provisions for food vendors to book a stand. ( The numbers to call are on the posters)

It's the Official New Years Eve countdown - THE CROSSOVER JAM! It's the biggest New Years Eve gathering ever!! Let's take all the colours into the New Year.

Venue - Tobix Recreational Park and Garden, close to Next Cash and Carry, along Banex-Gwarinpa Road
