have got this LCD Tv in my store for quite some time now. The only prob is that it's 48watt. I would have preferred 20watt - so that I don't expend too much energy. Does any one have idea on how I can minimize energy consumption? abi make I flog am?

Reduce backlight, contrast and brightness of the TV or buy 100ah battery and join with ur 40ah, I have sold my toshiba 32inch lcd TV wey carry 160watts and bought a 32inch led TV with just 72watts

Happy new year to u too my brother, I am still confused, led is now out of my budget , can u recommend a glossy black 32inch good brand lcd with good picture quality, good viewing angle, usb video playback , low watts and an lcd that doesn't have much fault, the one I have now jst developed picture board or t-con problem and I need to change it.
Or do u have a good 32inch led TV for 35k or less

Universal power supply always make beeping noise when phcn/Nepa/mains is cut off and it's on battery.
How can I eradicate this noise when I'm using the (Ups+battery+charger) setup.

Try and reduce the beeping noise by opening the ups cover and use celotape to seal the top of beeper inside the ups, if u disconnect or destroy the beeper, u will never know when the battery is weak and about to go off

No body can give u the exact price cos non of us get shop or sell but we can give u rough estimate, even that man that sell smart charger at mushin sef is complaining that exchange rate is high and he is still selling same price and its true cos I have seen 20amp smart charger at oshodi and it expensive ,
But tell me what u want to load and I will give u a rough estimate

1200va ups is same as 1.2kva ,all 1200va or 1.2kva ups are mostly 600watts and almost all 650va ups are 390watts

If Nepa carry light UPS always make beep sound,how do I only setup to hear these sound when the battery is on its last hour of usage instead of the beginning?

U have to take a clean picture of it, these 1.2kva blue gate ups has 2 types, there's one connected in series and I have seen another that u can connected in parallel and it has 2 batteries inside

I have not fully tested it with my inverter, my 32inch is always on whenever there is light and I switch off when nepa carry their wahala come, 160waatts is a bit high ,it will consume electricity, for now only my 15inch os on when there's no light, till I get another lower watts 32inch either lcd or led

1200Va also known as 1.2kva ups will work but u must use 2 batteries connected in series for that ups.

So with roughly 40k u can get ur own mini inverted, my laptop alone on my mini inverter lasts more than 26hrs

Don't go for small AH batteries, I started with, a 650ups and a 12v 7ah battery, then moved to blue gate ups 1200va that uses 2 batteries, I wasn't content with the time, then I bought 12v 18ah and used it with my 650va ups with my 26inch lcd then , I still didn't get enough time cos nepa can frustrate u, I changed my lcd TV to 32inch and bought another 12v 18ah , the time no still reach me, I bought. Fullriver 40ah, the timing wasn't ok with my 160watts 32inch, then I bought a 15inch monitor with AV input that is just 24watts, then I bought 42ah battery and it was almost perfect with my 15inch lcd monitor,then I later add jara on more 42ah battery, now I can't miss my popular programs on gotv or my dvd series, once ur battery is full u go get rest of mind

Close eye buy as from 100ah - 200ah, but I will recommend from 150ah - 200ah , then be rest assured of enough power in ur living room, I started with smaller ones for testing, go for big ones

I stumbled on dis thread just about 4weeks ago. I painstakingly went through every page of it and decided to give it a trial. I reached out to ceejay in conjunction with a friend of mine based in lagos. They successfully delivered a

200AH battery [tokunbo] = 32k
Smart charge = 7k
Ups = 1.5k

It was delivered to me in Ibadan. Der has bin power outage in my location for roughly 8hrs and i av bin on dis package with my 24inch LG tv, decoder and fan all day. This is bliss.

All credits to my humble brother ceejay....... Am indeed very grateful.
