I am not selling any thing here, I just figured some nairalanders would find this thread useful, its like having a mini inverter and much more cheaper, some times my neighbour dey wonder how I dey watch movie 24/7 and light no dey.

Its very easy, there are different ways that u can entertain urself when u are at home.

All you need is Gotv and an LCD with a very low wattage or a PC monitor that has AV input ,a 650va UPS, a 12v 40ah fullriver valve regulated battery and a smart charger.

I bought my 40ah battery brand new at oshodi for 6k its equivalent to deep cycle batteries and I bought my 20amp smart battery charger at idioro mushin for 7k, with this u can stay connected to ur favorite programs on TV or watch movies on ur LCD via external hdd, if u already have an LCD TV, just check the watts ,if its above 100, then u need to get a 15inch monitor that has AV input II bought mine 5k at computer village, the smart charger charges the battery,the ups stands as the power, my 15inch monitor is 34watts while the blu ray player is just 16watts.

So......

When there is no electricity ,my 40ah battery can power my 15inch LCD and Gotv or blu ray player for full 9hrs.

Note: It only powers my Gotv, bluray and 15inch LCD, imagine if I have 2 of that battery nko? That means I will never miss my favorite programs.

Hi, from your explanation, its clear that the Fullriver battery is Defective. It clearly doesn't store charge.
Unfortunately, you will need a new battery.
Did you charge it fully before first use? Did you use a properly rated charger for charging it. These can cause premature failure.

I think my battery is back and good , I searched through the internet for solution and found one....
I connected my locally made charger to my 5000watts stabilizer and connected the black wire of the charger to the positive of the battery and connected the red wire of the charger to the negative of the battery.
Note: I did it in a flash mode , it sparked and I removed it immediately, and then charged it with my new 4ways smart charger that I bought on friday, then I removed the battery from the charger and connected it to my ups and switched on my 32inch lcd TV, it lasted for more than an hour on my lcd TV (I didn't completely drain the battery) and I then removed the battery and connected it back to my smart charger, now it takes charge and I am happy,

Impulsively, I attacked it and tore part of the net. When I discovered that I will tear a sizeable part of my
window net if I sustained the attack, I decided to wait and let it crawl out. Instead of crawling out, it crawled
into my room thru that window. I confronted it inside my room and killed it. Someone once told me that that
specie of snake is harmless. question is: if it was harmless, why was it advancing toward me knowing fully well that
I was lying down there. We call it akaede in my Igbo parlance. well, I bless God I escaped it's attack. Fellow NLs, your candid opinions
are needed: Is this snake a threat to humans or not? find pix below:

Guy that snake don die but its still poisonous, make sure say u go burn and bury and don't let its bone shook u or anybody or else u na death, its still poisonous even after death

Try and charge it with an Inverter System for some hours to see if it recovers. It can recover if not fully damaged.

I don't have an inverter system,but I have 650Va bluegate UPS, but I bought a brand new 20amp three phase smart battery charger this evening, like shithapuns said to short circuit 4 times every 2 mins interval, I did it and the spart we commot for the battery wan burn my house, I believe its still ok, I still dey wait for nepa, since fuel scarce na so nepa light too scarce now.

Ok, here is the thing. Most locally made chargers are not ideal for Battery charging.
Those guys don't really know much technically about batteries.He may have simply checked the voltage and seen over 12v, without doing a load test on the battery.

Unfortunately, you may need new battery.

At ceejay80..its likely ur batt is bad...
A crude way of confirming it it to short circuit it briefly. .get 1mm càble..tighten 1 end to the positive terminal. .then use the other end to briefly touch the negative end..it shud spark massively...do this like 4 times


At intervals of 2mins...if the battery is good..it will spark crazily the 4 times...if nad...it will spark once or not at all.
Stop using any local charger....use ur inverter to charge the batt or buy a smart charger with 3 or 4 state charging

God bless u my brother, I have short circuted it 4 times like u said and the spark is massive, does that mean if I get a smart charger today to charge today, do I still have hope, because its like it dosent take charge from the local made charger , pls reply my brother
