I'd rather suggest you concentrate on your core assignment and leave policy interpretation and implementation to the media aids. They will never make you president any time in the future. Ask those before you. |
What is equity and fairness? Every policy and programme of the federal government has been formulated and implemented to the disadvantage of the South East region. So, why is the North clamouring for equity? |
See the kind of man the gov is, the gov-elect came to present certificate of return, you left the main reason for his visit and started imaginary installation of the President-elect; who are you debating with? |
You've not told us when Peter Obi acquired the power to direct DSS on who to arrest. And we know that governs are not in control of security agencies. Every party has right to all the states to campaign. |
First it'll gather as rumour, then it'll build up and before you knew it, it'll shock everyone. And we think we're smarter than the North. Politics is their game. We can only go home to lick our wounds. |
How many of the previous governors have they probed? They want to send him to political Siberia; anyway, this is time for him to either swim or sink. With this type of assault, Aso Rock may not come to his rescue. |
Anybody can easily pick holes from Danjuma story which contains half truths and outright falsehood. He claimed to be a stranger yet he nurtured revenge and carried it after six months. Who are the Northern soldiers he talked about, is he part of them? Danjuma referred to his Commander in Chief and Head of State as a useless desk officer head of state. Obasanjo who was around and later became both head of state and president has denied that the coup was an Igbo affair. No wonder the teaching of history was disrupted in Nigeria, if not, more revelations would have been made. The actions of the military has taken Nigeria backward and every section of the country has suffered greatly. If people continue to trade in falsehood and hate speech, more evil and backwardness will befall Nigeria. |
blowjohn:You'll not understand it if you've not been involved in this kind of act even at either side. Some victims are known to have committed suicide. It doesn't matter how long it takes one to come out in the open. Let the man prove his innocence. |
Sorry, Pastor Mrs., to say that, "My husband cannot rape anyone even as an unbeliever " cannot fly in the court. This matter is just beginning, go get good lawyers and go straight to court to avoid more damages. |
APC will definitely lose Imo gubernatorial election. Foisting Nwosu on Imolites will engender a protest vote. The battle will be between APGA and PDP: the two parties should reach an understanding: vote PDP in presidential election, and vote APGA for governorship election. |
Why do tax officials frustrate efforts of genuine tax payers and prevent them from registering? I've tried severally to register but the card wouldn't come out. How can I pay tax without being registered? |
This is not Igbo culture, it's rather irritating and insulting. Is this what awaits us should the agitators succeed? I suggest the boys go on to agitate for equity and fairness in the polity, and restructuring to achieve true federalism. I DON'T SUPPORT SECESSION!!! |
You know the sponsors of Biafran separatist groups but you don't know the sponsors of Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen etc. Oji nwanneya eriju afo. |
You got it right there. Biafra will be too small for Igbos to stay. They need to expand and spread beyond Nigeria. |
Yes the madness may be cured, how do you handle the vestiges? |
I wish people on this platform can really understand what Charlie Boy is saying. And I stand by him, anyway. Why would the Igbos have complex whenever Nigeria is mentioned? Does any ethnic group own this country more than the Igbos? Why can't we fight for fairness, equity and Justice? Igbos should deploy their ingenuity and entrepreneurial prowess into making their land the beautiful bride of Nigeria. I believe that most people masquerading here can hardly analyze the difference between their left and right hand. The way we are going about the issue of Biafra is giving our opponents more power to suppress and ignore us. I am an Igbo man and a Biafran, I want the best for my people. I am yet to read the outcome of the conference Chimamanda is holding in US, but that's the kind of thing we should be doing for us to be taken serious. Ndi Igbo, it's time to think twice. |
What's the difference between what Uduaghan did and that of Ibori? You all supported the looting and claimed it belongs to your state, and so they have right to loot. Why the complaints now? Allow the looting spree and mortgage your future. |
She must come back safely, no story. |
This should not happen in this generation. The police should move into action and do proper investigation. Those who perpetrated this act took laws into their hands and should be appropriately punished. |
What the local governments need is autonomy. |
"The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain". I urge the bereaved families to sue the Federal government to court and seek compensation amounting to a minimum of 500m for each. |
For me, the hood does not make a monk, but I'll not be comfortable to have just a secondary school certificate and sit in the National Assembly. Law making requires high human capacity, but if the best in a constituency or zone only has WAEC or GCE why not. |
I do not see any reason why Nigeria should break or disintegrate. These agitations are just for recognition. There should be a level playing field for every Nigerian and enthronement of equity and fairness. No Nigerian or region should be hindered from aspiring to any office in Nigeria. When this is done, then the agitations will stop. |
Thank God no life was lost, hope she was not pressing phone while driving. |
Please negotiate with the Niger Delta Avengers so that oil production can continue unfettered. |
This is long overdue; how can people elected on their own merit be tied to the strings of the governors and made puppets? There's hardly anything near governance at the local government level. This has stultified growth and development at the grassroots. When this is done, we shall go and take our destinies in our own hands and halt the decay. |
Elders, tell us what you discussed with the President. |
