airsaylongcome: Not a fan of Brain jotter but I think it's a good thing he's funneling the funds to the man. However there was a valid Copyright case and it's not right for you to call it idiotic He's not sending any money to the Man. The recording company that produced the song receives royalty through the SM platforms directly. The record labels have to pay Papa Mike depending on their agreement. Brain jotter Will still receive payments for the video views. No cheating anywhere. |

premierlead: Using every possible means to bring down others' businesses for your own to thrive should be a no for Mr. Dangote at this present time. He saw all these issues before but said nothing. Why is he now blowing the whistle at this point in time? Once again, he should allow others to run their businesses the way they want while he runs his as he wishes. His idea seems to be to start dictating the price of fuel the way he desires after gaining people's sympathy. They tried to run him down first after refusing to sell crude oil to him and declaring his products substandard. After committing billions of dollars, would you have kept quiet? |

It's just impracticable.
The damage done by the past administrations (PDP and Apc) will not be remedied even in 4 years.
This is the sad and glaring reality! The damage done in the past 9 years was a direct responsibility of Tinubu and his APC pawns. He's only reaping the fruits of his labour - sour or sweet. |

Politics › Re: "This Is Not A Nightclub", Akpabio Cautions Natasha Akpoti by ceejayluv(m): 8:12am On Jul 19, 2024 |
Energist: That's a reckless statement. Akpabio did well as a governor, but his performance as minister and now legislator has been woeful. Talk about different strokes for different folks.
I haven't seen the content of the bill, though I can guesstimate that it is meant regulate the transport sector. I support it wholeheartedly. These are the bills that should grace the hallowed chambers, not those that massage the primordial egos of legislators. The road transport sector is the most patronised yet there's no regulation especially for commercial operators. Who licenses the likes of GUO, GIGM and those unnamed taxis? Who checks the vehicle conditions? What of the fitness of the drivers? Who sets the requirements for opening a commercial car park? Who enforces adherence to right tonnages?
The maritime sector is regulated by NIMASA and NIWA, aviation by NCAA. These two contribute to less than 5% share in Nigeria's transport system. I so submit that there's an urgent need to establish a regulatory agency to cater for road transport. It Will only end up being an added revenue mobilisation agency. We're in Nigeria. They can empower the current ministry of transportation, FRSC, vio,etc to carry out the functions stated above. |

A man that supported those who have ruined the economy and founded cultism is the one they worship.
I don’t know why some Nigerians despise good men, but instead, extol and elevate criminals. Soyinka founded a youthful social fraternity... It's not his fault that Nigerians turned the concept to a murderous one. |
