They shouldnt use state by state format. For instance how can state like bayelsa with 8 lga have same number of candidate with delta (25 lga) that have more than 3x lga of bayelsa state. For this i demand for more creation of state for delta/edo. As at 1963 Nigeria have 4 regions. Now among those regions is only defunt midwestern region that have 2 state formed from it (delta/edo) whereby other regions have gotten 6 and above state. I think this an injustice. We demand for more state for delta/edo atleast 2 in each of the state

bro if there is anything am sured of is that the script were marked at the various state command between august 30th to around sept 4. and it was collated back to Abuja along with the PSC officials incharge of each state recruitment. i personnally saw them marking it then and also grading eachone with his/her score. on the part of politicians delaying the list it may be very possible but God pass them all.

i dont think there is any need for a whatsapp gruop for now. Presently this forum is making real sense and we are ok with it. The suspence, motivation and sometimes brotherly disagreement we are witnessing on the thread is far bigger than whatsapp

For instance ogun state has 20 lg and only 13 people will be selected...as it is it can't go round all local govt..just that no lg will produce more than one candidate

Bro all state wont get equal number of succesful candidate what federal character commission want PSC to use is federal constituency and not state especially for Inspectors and ASP's. we have 360 federal constituencies in nigeria and all state dont have equal numbers of federal constituencies for instant delta have 10 federal constituencies,bayelsa 5,kano 24, anambra 11 etc.

they cannot have general cut off mark for the recruitment. Reasons bein that is a federal govt recruitment and federal character must be strictly followed. You can score less and stil make it if your LGA nd constituency score poorly.

Fg should create another 5000 space/vacancy for politicians and the fada fadas. Then leave the 10000 for nigerians to compete for. PSC are afraid of releasing the list because they dont have one list. They need 13 ASP from each state, the gov(from an opposition party) say he have seven slot in that same state a serving minister is also demanding of his own. Since the govt can promise to recruit 15000 NDLEA, i see no reason why fg can recruit 20000, thereby givin 10000 to the acclaimed fada fadas nd leave ordinary nigerians for the remainin 10000

there are two things that matter most now is first your locality i.e your local govt and secondly your score. The first matter most than the second due to the fact that this is a federal job and federal character is largely involved. For instance in delta some ijaws local govt nd uvwie lga hv less than three to four aspirant coming for the initial screening and tribes like urhobo,ndokwa,isoko and especially the ikas and oshimili people have as high as fifteen to twenty aspirant from their individual LGA. So even if a candidate from ijaw/itsekiri/uvwie have lesser scores compare to those from the other ethnic gruop/LGA they will be first consider. The more intelligent people you have in your locality the most tougher it become also the more number the more tougher. Lets just be calm. The invite wont exceed this month. The PC trainin is likely beginning in october but the actual date i cant say but it will surely be by october for the PC. If we dont get the work no prob cos bigger things is surely ahead of us but i see many nairalander scaling tru to the next stage for the ASP nd Inspector cadre cos brilliant is still part of the determining factor for now and i know we got it.

Since the govt is not providing transport, accommodation and feeding for the aspirant. I urge the PSC not to release 70000 candidate name when they know they need only 10000. At much they should release/cut down the successful ones to atmost 13000 so that people failing the next stage can be small and not waste someones precious time,money and strength is not everybody that have a place to pass a night in abuja plus the transport and feeding.

the counting start from your first date at the police academy and ASP spend a year and six months so you wear the one star for a period of four to six months before you are confirmed with the two stars. It is also same for the Inspectors cadet inspectore start with one bar at grade level 06 after two years of appointment starting form the date training commence he will be given two bars as confirm inspector at grade level 09

i dont think is the hausa's nor the yoruba's that is made majjority of anioma not to accept being called igbo. Anioma have three gruop oshimili/aniocha, ukwuani and ika and this gruops have their own view on being igbo or not. the aniocha/oshimili people which covers the asaba, ibusa,iseleuku axis are more closer to the igbos both in language and customs and traditions. while the ukwuani are closer to the urhobo, isoko, ijaw axis and also in traditions and customs they share many things in common. while the ikas which covers the agbor,abavo area are closer to the bini people in traditions and customs. As for me no man should speak for Anioma being igbo or not because even in Anioma there are differences in languages, dress code etc.

i came into awka in the year 2009 comparing then and now there is agreat difference in virtually all aspect. Ranging from infastrusture to interpersonal relationship. Then once you cant speak igbo they will think you are forming and they will give you some gap but now t. Virtually everyone can communicate in english. lets dnt sweat it. asp and inspectors will b chosen based on senatorial districts. since each state has three senatorial districts it figures dat each district should produce at least four candidates for asp and inp respectively

no it will be done based on federal constituency for the ASP's and inspectore. We have 360 federal constituencies in nigeria. Mind you all state dont have equal number of constituency eg delta have 9 nine while ekiti hv 6,plateau 8borno 10, bayelsa 5. Etc all state wont produce equal numbers.

na waec abi na jamb we write. If there want to be very sincere with the examination it would have being writing using cbt which will give you your score once you are done. Mind you federal character is another thing here we have to take note of.

What next i cant tell but there were many mutilations on peoples grades in order to pave way for some candidate. My utmost prayer is that buhari should increase it from 10000 to 20000 because all most everybody are qualified based on the screening conducted so far.

Psc/npf should not include many stages again cos they are not paying for candidate expenses. On the part of medical, people wont fail that much cos police is not military is more of a brain work than physical strength though some illnesses like arshma, epilepsi and a few others can be screened out. What we need to be tested more on is our IQ which the IGP talked about durin his last briefin on the recruitment so far. I urge the psc/npf to cut downw the number to atleast 15% to 20% thats about 13000 candidate removing the GD constable of 7500 and specialist constables of 500 we wil then hav 5000 candidate left which another 2000 candidate will finally emerge for the inspectors nd Asp.

bro physical screening hv being concluded already it was use to shortlist for the aptitude test. is only the specialist that physical screening coming up next week will affect their outcome. For now GOD first then your score and your locality that is all that matter.

You are right, they wouldn't be dropping much candidates are this stage. They are very serious with this recruitment you could see it through the way the coordinators were coordinating themselves not to make mistake. So I believe after this stage, medical(psychological , blood, xray, etc ) after medicals, interview, and final shortlisting.

bro at this stage we are currently there is only two things that can prompt one to the next stage be it the final interview or training college;. (1)nice score (2) number of candidate from your local govt/federal constituency. Because is a federal work and federal character act must be obey to the latter.

cut off will probably be 70% if a candidate can get 35 out of the 50 questions i strongly believe the candidate will be off to the next stage. We only pray for fairness in marking of the script if buhari son get 10 give him 10 not 20 if an unknown man son 40 give him his 40. Thats our prayer fairness and equity

Haba na only ASP's dey here. Where are my fellow inspectors to be. Lets share some few answers to our questions. The test look simple when you are inside the hall but when relax after the exam i discover that it wasnt as simple as it look. The most painful part on my side is that No 2 question which correct answer is fragnant. It was the only question i seek for assistance and the correct answer was given to me by my friend sitting behimd me but ITK made me to choose B claiming that how can who hv being askin me all the answers to the other questions can be correct. This exam hv taught me that even profs do make silly mistake.
