COURSES: - Throughout the 18 months duration; the cadets are taken through the following courses.

A. BASIC STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS:-

1. Documentation/screening, attestation and oath taking

2. Drill courses

3. Police Duties

4. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure

5. Four (4) weeks first - Aidlay lectures

6. One month attachment

B. INTERMEDIATE STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS

1. Drill courses

2. Police Duties

3. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure

4. Four (4) weeks first - Aidlay lecture courses

5. Four (4) weeks detective courses.

6. Four (4) weeks citizenship and leadership training course.

C. ADVANCE STAGE SIX (6) MONTHS

1. Drill courses 2. Police Duties

3. Laws, criminal law of evidence and criminal procedure

4. Four (4) weeks Police mobile force training

5. One (1) week Police educational visit

6. Four (4) weeks interview

7. Four (4) weeks passing out parade practice (POP)After the training, the cadets are passed out as ASPs and Inspectors respectively and are posted to state commands to undergo another one year attachment to acquire practical experience before they are finally allowed to stand on their own.

Ahh!! Meticulously evil people. Bro, no one knows oh or should I say I don't know. Could be after the interview for those specialists that require it. I don't think a class can start without the conclusion of the selection of that class of officers. For GD, I think it's letter of appointment next then college for All categories. By the way, no need to taunt the fella... nobody holy pass

non holy pass, to me it was purely 'God at work' cos i knew no man though i did my best on the exam day. Please any one that have info on the date that trining will commence should please info us and the number of months we are meant to spend in the training college

Ladies and gentlemen News reaching us from Abuja just confirmed PSC website was hacked and list hijacked.... so a new comprehensive list will be provided and pasted on or before sunday night incase u saw your name like me on the list bros u jist need to start proper prayers .....For those that r still on the queue you have a better chance the old list was ....ion

hahaha the soft copy of the one posted on psc site as already gone viral they cant undo it with another list. I beleive they are working on sending messages to the successful candidate

So finally the list is out, I must confess psc really disappointed. I'm not sure psc followed federal character or even local govts by local govt in the recruitment of asps. It is unfair to most local govts / districts and I'm sure some local govts produced more than one slot if not they would have listed each LGA alongsides the names.

for the ASP's and inspectors they used state of origin and it wasnt done on lGA basis, i believe they just pick the best or merited ones not minding the locality in the state, i personally noticed it in my state delta though i was chosen but the truth must be told,

my guy please do not be deceived....NPF is the best option....if you join the airforce with dssc you won't rise to more than group captain, it will be very tough to rise to the rank of air commodore and above. also, you ll never be the chief of air staff as you are not a pilot and that position is reserved for those that went to the NDA.now what's the point of being a job when you cannot rise to the highest rank possible. In the Nigerian police,you can become the IG tomorrow. There aren't such challenges there....police also trains their officers. After your 6 months I.T you can work your way to interpol so you ll be working from outside Nigeria. Nigerian police force is very powerful because they do everything. They do immigration work, road safety work,customs, you see them at airports,seaports, borders....see they are extremely powerful.....so please free that NAF. Once you don't join the airforce through the NDA you can't rise to the highest possible rank as you are Not a direct regular/regular combatant.....hope you choose wisely

seconded NPF have all the branches of all other forces in them eg the police airwing since you love airforce so much, the marine police which operate in rivers, the ever gallant mopols, ctu, sars which operate in trouble regions just like army, then you talk of investigation, police force is an allrounder whatever suite you the police force got it

Al-hamdl, i made it in the reserved list, i don't know what that will portray but still hoping. CASP Borno state. pls someone should explain better what they mean by the 'reserve'.

each state have reserved CASP/Cinsp General duty of three which implies that if those initial candidate refuses to show up or during the course of training they are found not to be fit to be a police officer then the reserve list will be viosited and candidate will be pick from there to replace the affected candidate. But i believe in the coming days you people position will be more explain by PSC through the notification that will be sent to the successful one

you maybe right, someone like me i hardly comment but on daily bases or even hourly basis i always check this thread from the cursing period to the speculation period to the abuja-jigawa period etc i was always there, i wont fail to thank those of you that kept the thread going in all form, finally the list wait is over na is the commencement day and notification wait is the next wait.
