Don't pressure yourself saying my mate is buying a house. It is called mortgage in the US, which means it is paid over 30 years or so. America runs on credit. You do not need to have the money to buy anything whether house, cars, phones, clothes, just about anything. That's what many nigerians do not understand and struggle to compete with their counterparts in the US. |
Well, every Nigerian Politician/Civil Servant would say the same |
Must he react to everything? Trying so hard to prove he is alive to world leaders than he is trying to prove to Nigerians that he is a good leader. https://mobile.twitter.com/MBuhari/status/1326136598677909511[/quote] |
The issue with Nigeria is the system. This system deals with the problem of the masses with blunt force but a few so-called elites are exempt. For example, armed robbery was on the rise, they created SARS whereas it was on the rise because people have no means for survival. Had there been opportunities, it would have resulted in a decline in crime. Until the police is not answerable to the big politician, the big religious leader, the big businessman, the big celebrity, there would not be justice to the common man. Police needs to stopped from being security aides to these set of people because the psychological implication is that such people are not under their purview. Accountability must be demanded from every elected politician. No politician should campaign on the premise of building roads, schools, or health facilities and offering electricity, because these are basic social amenities and should be accessible to all. Again, we need to review our stand on ethnicity and religion. It's set us back in many ways. It has not allowed us to think constructively or unite ideologically. |
LudaChriz:Una see say the same people wey dey arm the counter-protesters dey arm Boko Haram. E no be coincidence. |
