This will further push exchange rate up, because if customers deposited cash into their account , there won't be cash to withdraw at some point and they won't be able to transfer fx out because of shrinking reserve and inadequate lines with correspondent banks. It will get to a level where dollar cash won't be available and customers will have no choice but to collect their FX in naira equivalent.

Another thing that may happen is that people will be sceptical of depositing cash into their domiciliary accounts and status quo will be maintained with regards to exchange rate

At last al-Bashir escaped the arrest and that should tell us the unity among AU now a days. His escape is not without the consent of all the participating presidents

Commendable but el rufai isn't the first. Ex Gov Ahmed Markafi had Igbo and Yoruba SA and SSA. Namadi Sambo had Igbo and Yoruba SSA. It wasn't differnt from Rahmalan yero and Yokowa. Former Sokoto state Gov Wamako had Igbo SA. Present Governor of Borno state have a Delta man as SA. Alao Akala had Hausa SA. Same with Governor Willie Obiano.

Elrufai should stop acting like he's the first. He isn't and he won't be the last! He should concentrate on governance and stop seeking cheap political point with unnecessary things.

I don't think Buhari understand what he's up to. The above listed "wishes" are the primary responsibility of government and not foreigners. Curbing corruption is Buhari's job. Increased FDI will only happen if there is conducive sociopolitical and economic environment. Infrastructure, power etc are Buhari's responsibility. Buhari better return to Nigeria if he has no concrete request to make.

Like seriously? Are you learned? Those countries can help to curb corruption by making it difficult for people to invest thier proceed of corruption in their countries. The can also do so by ensuring that investor from their countries that shows interest in investing in Nigeria are not inducing our officials with bribes.
They can contribute to our economy by encouraging the multinationals from their countries to invest in Nigeria thus increasing the volume of FDIs to Nigeria and this will have an effect on employment etc The list of how they can help is endless, we should keep open minds and make constructive critism rather than some destructive and demoralizing comments.

Please can you create an alternative wish list let's see how better they are compare to the president's request ?
