I can't understand why guardiola sub Alonso and Vidal in this match at the same time. Is he trying to create space for arsenal to attack?

That substitution collapsed bayern midfield completely.

The thing is this, everything cannot and should not be spiritualised. I do not doubt the power of prayer or faith. I have been and I am still experiencing the power of prayers. Sometimes we have to step back and analyze the situation. In this case the doctors failed woefully by the look of the things read in the original post.
A doctor can be overwhelmed and it is very normal. The issue is, did they do all their possible best? No. If they did all they could, and the patient later died, then we can hook it on God.

I am not insulting you. Just stating as it is. But I can see you have reciprocated the supposed insult.

I know so well about Ben Carson. I follow his story and activities religiously.
The difference between Ben Carson and the doctors of St. Nicholas Hospital is that Ben Carson will leave no stone unturned while dealing with a difficult case. He would do all the best he can while relying on God to do the rest.
At this junction if you still have your brain intact, you should remember a bible passage that says "Faith without work, is dead". It's just like a student who after receiving a prophesy that he would graduate with a first class, decided not to study or work hard in school. Such student cannot get a first class, with faith or no faith. Cos God does not condone laziness or slacking. The doctors of St. Nicholas Hospital slacked in this case.

I am a Christian and by all standards I am not a baby Christian. I am a Christian who knows every issues should not be spiritualised. In this particular case, you have failed to analyse the suitation properly.
Jesus raised the dead. Yea. And he has promised us Christians that we will do greater works than he did. Yea.
But you should realize that these couple were not looking for miracles. They had faith in the Hospital and the hospital failed them. It is a different case if they took him to the Church for prayers.

Don't get it twisted, when an atheist is talking about faith, he is in no way referring to God. An Atheist believes in science.
Dollypatron

Firstly, ur a baby christian, because God didn't say believe of have faith in God for you to get answrrs to prayers...he said believe and believe WHAT? That you have your petion...hence the statement, "let it be unto you as thou has believe" that was to the blind beggars..where ever in the bible did you see or hear jesus say according to MY faith or the disciples faith be it unto u...hoep u catch my drift? So u see u that's is a christian that owns faith don't use or understand it, but an atheist like branson, we tell about his success based on his believeing(unciouss practice of faith)...but u don't gerrit.

Pls its not at this junction pls find the correct word and pls do have yourself a good day, wheather I have a brain or not you decide

Ok this is the most ridiculous shït I have read this week.
Couple of doctors who are charged with the responsibility of saving lives, failed woefully in discharging their duties, and you turn around to hook it on God as having the final say.
Y'all Nigerian Christians need to take moment and use your brains. Sometimes, it is just common sense, no need for any divine revelation or something
dollypartron, i wish you would make use of your own brain

did i exonerate the doctors from my post? No
i only claimed that doctors even with all their knowledge are overwelmed by workings of a higer power most times......

cant u make an intelligent argument and not resort to abusive words? have you heard of the greatest neurosurgon in the world? let me give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have, now neurosugery is the hardest form of surgery, why? because your dealing with 80% water(in the brain), now this man has various times said he has received guidance in the most hopless of these operations which he knew he could do nothing about....and didnt mince words but has clearly stated that in those situations its God that has guided him....

funny part is prior to some of these operations,he would refuse operating because he would refer to such cases as hopless, but the relatives of such victims will insist that God has told them to come to him that he will do a succesful ops through this surgeon. (at this jucture if u can use your brain ull see that its FAITH at work)

i wont really blame you especially if you cliam to be a christan, you must be a baby christian, change your church too....the church i attend dead people are prayed for not by the pastor but by the congration and the dead are brought back to life.(one major rule of life is simply faith on the word of God, finish)

what more an ailment?

using your brain very well youll see that even aethists like richard branson(virgin) can attest to the power of faith, and the list is endless

some doctors have been looking for fruit of the womb to no avail...

lookingbuoy:
I have a little problem and need some advice on it:

I've got a girl I like. We met at nysc and got along really good. Even today i still remember the first day i saw her. She studied psychology and even though I'm an engineer we could relate and talk a lot about her subject, as I read a lot and kinda have read much on psychology. After nysc we still kept in touch and continued to talk even though i never asked her out formally. Soon i got a job away from her. Our talking continued on phone.

While out of Nigeria on training, I met another lady. She's just as pretty as the other one, but has a great job and is a confident woman. The other girl is still searching for a job; and her psychology degree is no help. I have a great job myself and i earn seven digits in naira per month. The new girl also works with an oil form and earns very well. We have got along these past few months and I really have fun talking to her and hanging out.

I have always wanted an independent woman as a wife, a woman who can stand by herself and who has prospects for a huge career. I'm career-minded myself. But now, I'm really confused who to plan my life with and settle down with as a partner: this independent lady who I believe I like or the other unemployed lady who I seem to have a more relaxed, longer friendship with.

Note: I've not asked any of them out formally. Please help.
Marriage is a spiritual institution...there's more to it than, looks, carrer, not saying it insnt part.

Conclusion of the matter..ur a spirit and need ur spiritual mate, it may not be any of the two sef...take the matter to God

Politics › Re: Did You See The Mistake On The Ministerial List Sent To The Senator Saraki? (Pic by cescky(m): 10:00am On Oct 14, 2015
midolian:
So?

Even in the U.S constitution, there are errors, let alone Nigerian ministerial list that was hastily typed and submitted. The word "Pennsylvania" is spelled with a single "n", "Pensylvania" in the U.S constitution.

Another mistake, though less obvious, is a common one even today: the word "it's" is used in Article 1, Section 10, but the word "its" should have been used.

The most common mistake, at least to modern eyes, is the word "choose", spelled "chuse" several times. This is less a mistake than it is an alternate spelling used at the time. The word is found in the Constitution as both "chuse" and "chusing"....etc
http://www.usconstitution.net/constmiss.html
I guess these errors are the reasons for the economic "backwardness" of the U.S. Today. *laughs*

You guys better look for errors that are powerful enough to increase fuel price, take away food from your table, reduce power supply and increase insurgency...
oga if US makes typos, thats not a good enough excuse , to excuse a wrong thing, what is wrong is wrong, what is wrong is not dependednt on who made the wrong

Yes, Nigeria can survive even more than two. The immediate solution is to quickly silence the ones that are just emerging, while they are still in their embryonic stages. Like, right now. As-Sunna doesn't have more than 2,000 combatants (that's if it is even up to 2k) and the militants don't yet have more than just AK-47s, kalashnikovs and a few other small arms. As-Sunna tried to form an alliance with BH, but the talks failed (it was the later that rejected the former's proposal). So, As-Sunna can be quickly isolated now and wiped out, quietly. That is the way to go. But if nothing serious is done about As-Sunna right away, by March next year, places like Ilorin, northern Oyo, and Niger State will be under threat. This is the BEST time to act.
wow, u have soo much info as per these people...anyways i hardly listen to news due to all these gory news,

i dont need the depression...hence my ignorance on these people.

your right oo, ONLY IF they can be nipped in the bud now, and that is solely dependent on the sincerity of politicians...i recall when boko haram were only with cutlass and axes, obasanjo was playing politics , when they caught the leader, he was seceretly murderd and all documents burnt with his laptops. Now that monster has grown.

those places occupied by these bokoharam people, theres no way the people, elders or natives of these places do not know of their prescence, so its certain that these groups are being encouraged by these places they occupy, case study maidugri....so it all boils down to sincerity on the part of the leaders.

Its only God that will deliver the north, cos the leaders are not NEAR sincere.....take for instance the robbery in festac yesterday, the whole world saw that two people were killed and the shameless police came and announced that no body died, the same police will arrest some innocent people and come and display them.

People are screaming buhari buhari thats lets watch and see the out come.

but also observe this...for the past 3 or more years ive observed that during DRY OR HOT season when light or power is really needed there always seems to be a problem with Egbin or some power plant somewhere......why doesnt it happen during cool season........beacuse nigerians can afford to sleep with out light during this period due to cool weather....but take note ever dry season , light must be an issue and when light is an issue people must buy fuel etc....my point is some people are raping this country and the people at the top all know who they are, theur just managing the situation cos they can all still feedfat.

Its well though

The name of the sect is AS-SUNNA. This sect is different from BH but is operating the same way. It has been acquiring weapons for several months now and is aiming to overthrow the Nigerian government and impose Sharia.
It is led by a man called Mallam Baba. Another name of a leader of the group has emerged, which is Muhammed Auwal Jabata. He is based in Ilorin. But whether Mallam Baba and Muhammed Auwal Jabata is the name of the same person or that of two different persons we don't yet know. So, the people the NA fought with in Okene yesterday are AS-SUNNAH, NOT BH. But as far as ideology and intention is concerned, As-Sunnah is as deadly as BH. Something should be done decisively now before it gets out of control. As-Sunnah means business but God pass them.
Thanks

this is shocked ,Can Nigeria survive 2 terrorist groups ...
