People that submit whatssap conversations, call logs for dependant visa application to ascertain an existing relationship, what do u save your partner's number with?
Or do u unsaved their numbers so that their phone numbers can truly reflect on the documents?

We got collection mails today. Family of 3. Biometrics was on 22nd December (priority for MA). No BRP mail, no NSF, no rejection mail.
Pls house what does this imply? Can anyone explain this?

Most people don't get BRP mails. Once you receive/pickup your passport and see the sticker, you can send them email for your BRP.

This are the thing i can remember, it all about Confidence and be sure of what u saying and let them know u know what you are doing and what you are in the UK for.

Hello

Yes, you can pay your deposit after getting your conditional offer.

In some cases it is part of the condition others limit the conditions to documents and issue unconditional offer before deposit is paid.

Each Uni have different processes regardless please proceed to pay your deposit once you are certain you have met or will meet the other conditions.

Sometimes getting that deposit back when/if there is an issue can be tough.
Remember to go through the terms and conditions for refunds also

The bolded above is the more reason you should avoid schools that payment is part of their condition to issue you unconditional offer. Except if is the only school.

Or if you have more money to pay another school while you battle for your refund, should you find another school that payment is not part of their condition.

I did my bio 25th nov, uploaded only CV without my employment docs (didn't know I had to do this cos of long study gap) so got a scheduled interview which I attended, spoke about all the jobs I have done so far plus my recent job which was not on d CV I uploaded during biometric (someone advised that I use same CV I used during school admission process and my admission was 2021 and I got my new job few months after my school admission) 2 days after interview I got nsf asking for proof of what I have been doing since graduating in 2008 aside uploaded C.V.

So, I uploaded employment/contract letters including that of my current work which I spoke about during interview but was not on the CV I uploaded during bio.

I did 1 paid mail on the 19th, it was escalated, was told to wait 15 working days before contacting them.

On 22nd got another mail saying "application is under consideration and being worked on and would be concluded as soon as possible"

N.B: deferred admission twice from 2021 to 2023

Sincerely wish I had read the early pages of this thread it would have helped me avoid getting an NSF in the first place.

Still I am hopeful.

Let me chip in some things for those who want to learn.

What UKVI is requesting for is

1. All the Certificates you used to secure your Admission - This place only certificate and nothing more.

2. Evidence of Work - This is optional as it's for those who has study gaps like me. That is people who are out of school for a long time.

UKVI want to know what you have been doing since you finished school.

Now a lots of people upload CV here, but CV is not it. Your CV is not a verifiable evidence that you are working or you have worked in a place, even someone who has not worked can have a CV. So you don't have to upload your CV, infact don't upload it.

What is required here is A reference letter/ experience Letter from your work place. And it should be written in the companies letter head paper.

For someone who has worked in multiple places get as many as possible the reference letters or experience Letter from those companies, you can Google the format of experience Letter.

If you're self employed, get 2 or 3 of your customers who has a registered business to write an experience Letter for you.

There are other things but I will stop here because this is where people get most of their information wrong.

Avoid uploading what you're not asked for so you don't end up contravening yourself.

Even SOP you don't need to upload it to UKVI.

Only upload the ones they asked, if they need any other they will ask for it. People most times upload the one's that are not need and leave the needful one's.

This is a method I used and 2 people who I've helpe,d used the same method and theirs Visa was express, no interview.

For those interested.

Avoid what will make them ask for clarification or more documents, it will slow down your application.

Avoid depositing large sum or withdrawal especially when you declare to be a staff and your salary is not upto what you're depositing or withdrawing.

There is no point to argue on. Your given a candid and friendly advice. Respond based on facts as much as possible and avoid giving just your opinion for something that has a definite answer. For instance 1+1=2 your opinion or maybe can't change the answer from 1.

He asked if he is going to be cleared twice. In London and in Edinburg. And I answered No only one port of entry clearance.

I didn't only read that response, I have read a couple of your responses and they are usually based on opinion or friends etc..

I am not saying they are bad, I am saying check facts.
His visa is to the UK, he isn't transiting to a different country he is entering, Heathrow is the first airport he arrives that is his POE.

I don't need to research this, I had a good sleep and I am having a fantastic day.

Acquiring knowledge by reading and experience are completely different.

Try to give facts as much as you can

Ok. Like I said is my opinion of what I think. I clearly said that.

I also said may which is probably ( I didn't say he will not be cleared)

And lastly I said if he got cleared in any of the port he will not be cleared twice. Which also means there is a probability he will be cleared.

So I don't know what brought my advice are hearsay.

Even the so called experience, my visa was priority in 5 days and my 2 friends priority in 5 days isn't that one an experience?. But here I've read more than 3 people saying they did same priority and didn't get their Visa for more 10 working days.

I guess I should condem them that it's a lie that's is based on hearsay, that priority is 5 days.

Or if anybody should ask how many days is priority I should tell them is 5 days guaranteed, when I read so many people here complaining they're not getting their priority Visa in 5 days.

And if you don't know what a stopover mean you ask. Stopover is different from port of entry.

Go research what a stopover mean.

About the bolded, I read that's how I got knowledge. In acquiring a knowledge you must not experience it, you just read it.

You can't have 2 POE clearance.

You may not be cleared in stopover (my opinion though) because they will not be much time except if the stopover time is much.

But if you are cleared in any of those, then you're good.

I think you mean Ikeja. VI are getting it in 5 working days except people that has issues and went for interview. Or people who theirs are not straightforward.

Mine was 5 working days, though in November. My friend in first week of December get in 5 working days as well.

This your summation is very wrong. Your account was not opened solely for UK visa purpose. As such you can operate it however you deem fit. If the visa in question is a Visitor visa, you might make some point if it is a salary account being presented. Moreover in visitor visa application, as long as you can explain and justify lump sum deposits, you are good to go. A visa application doesnt mean one cannot operate his /her account anymore

Sorry brother visit application is very very strict. My friend was denied visit.

They told him quite alright he has funds in his account but they can't verify the source. That was the reason for denier.

No you don't have any problem. You can land in any airport of your choice in UK.

The immigration at the airport you landed will clear you.

One of my friend who traveled on September was going to Derby landed in London and used train to Derby.

The other person who just left on December 25th landed in Manchester and he was going to Bolton.

Me, I am going to Scotland, I will be landing in London then take another flight to Scotland from London.

When I wanted to book my Flight, direct flight to Scotland cost almost 800K. While to London is just 550k and flight from London to Scotland is just like £70-£100

Please check your vignette sticker in your passport not BRP letter.

Immigration na Vignette Sticker them dey check, no be your BRP.

Dependants can apply with their own POF, and it doesn't need to have the MAs maintenance in it or vice versa

My family submitted application together, biometric was November 24th my wife is the MA she got her BRP mail on the 12th of December her visa was approved on the 8th of December, she got her collection mail on the 13th December and her passport was delivered on the 16th December. I the husband and our baby application is still on DMC I have sent 2 paid email and I did paid call I was told our application is awaiting decision. Please HOUSE advise on what we need to do. It takes 15 working days based on people's experience for a standard application to get decision. Your wife just have to wait.
