Anyway, there is something in all of this you need to get. This may be
a little startling but I think everyone is being
patient with you. honestly. That is what you have failed to see
but you seem to be feeling cool just running in the wrong direction.

You see, its like, this is a room, and we are all here at a LEVEL, communicating
in a level of language, checking out each others stuff and along comes
this guy speaking one goo goo ta ta language. Its a distraction. its
like you are in the wrong room, So peeps here are trying to get you into
the game but you keep happily and defiantly talking away without really
listening to what they could be meaning. You have to forgive people but
it could be annoying and folks cant help it.

In addition to that, we all want the imput of all those nigerians who are
really great in this, there are still many out there, hiding, watching us
all.

Now the truth is we need this forum to not seem like a joke so they could come in.
It could really be a blessing to some of us you know, so we gotta keep
the forum sacrosanct, respected, and yet full "a" fun

So ideally, if you on you own started a thread that said "Hey 3d for beginners" or
"POSER specialists here", you can trust that no one would get up in your mix
and you can enjoy your life as long as you want.

Pls, i dont mean any harm at all, just saying what I think.
Among artistis, art is supposed to inspire and challenge.
If your stuff doesnt appeal, then something is wrong because
it MUST appeal.

Why would you want people to puke at your work inside
but give you the thumbs outwardly? Wouldnt you rather have
them tell you the truth? So my guy this is how i see it.

Come on guys, it's clear some of us may be
irritated but this is a forum and
all kinds are welcome, humour, criticisms,, like that,
tangible stuff as far as they are not based on deceit.

Contrary to what some think, People have the right to comment
on any work of art as they see fit. It has nothing to do with someone being your child
or brother or whatever. It is only Nigerians that get personal in these kinds of discussions.
And "separate the art from the artist, " what kind of wisdom is that? Do you separate the
"thief" from his,, you know, , "thiefery"

I really like your renders, they are colourful and sharp.
There's nothing wrong with using POSER for your art, really,
whatever works for you in expressing yoursefl is fine.

Only, i am not sure it will get you anywhere in the now
very competitive 3d world. The world is talking of zbrush and
the likes , and you're doing Poser?? Like would you employ
a professional artist who only knows Mircosoft Publisher?
You just gotta learn to see the angel in the stone. Gotta learn

Thanks alot bros, no harm was done though, (as at the last time i checked! lol). I am sure
it all was intentional and people need to be a little aware of what their actions
may imply. I believe Nairaland is a great provision and should be respected with
simple credible , thingys.

crap is a summary,, of the explanations you want, i guess.

I am sure if you take another look at it, and criticize it
yourself, you will be fine, or finer.

I criticise my works always, so it is done before anybody
else sees it. But i learnt to always have people in mind - asides
my boss and or my client - while I work. Cos atimes, i get
scared my client might approve an imperfect thing, THAT THE WHOLE
WORLD IS GOING TO SEE!!! So since i learnt that, I ve never had
a bad critic. Suprisingly, I am a little uncomfortable with that.

confuse that with the idea of encouragement. Please keep being

of the beholder. It is not a poem, it is real. I dont think it sounds nice
to blast a work of art that is cherished by someone before his very eyes.
It suggests a lack of quality judgement on the part of the client.

So pls out of respect for Mr boomtower, let's not let our real opinions
out. I think if you had criticized the logo before it was approved, it would
made more impact.

dont listen, just a little, and pick something from what Gamine is saying, I
think there is something value you will miss. That everyone's giving
you the thumbs up is really not enough to say you at the top of the game, Many
times, that tiny voice in the crowd that's in opposition may be offering what you need to hear.

I have found out by painful experience that beauty is in the eye of the
beholder. I have dont exceptional designs in the past that was
rejected and had a very poor approved by the same client. So its not new
to have dissenting opiniions on this competition.

@kemji, my main man,

Dont be afraid of criticisms, no matter how you feel about them, they will
make you better each time. For me i love ya, not the logo, but i love ya
bro. and for me - if i were the judge - even if you didnt win cos of the design,
you sure would have got me because of your fine attitude. And really, that matters
alot in the world today, You are the best.
