So pissed off with this irritating govt and entity called nigeria. Must the citizens first cry out before u respond to a looming crisis? What kind of ppl are we? Can't we just do one freaking good thing for once? If all we ever do is set up committees only after ppl have died and monies have disappeared they why do we have a government? what is going on in this country for God sake? Are we not tired of failing?

What is a bridge for Gods sake? Individual business men and women were in a race to rebuild bridges in Lebanon, destroyed by Israeli missiles during Israel's war with hizbollah not too long ago. From what I heard, over 24 bridges were built. In Lebanon?! What kind of ppl are we? What kind of government is this?

No they were not subjugated. They were defeated and they surrendered. The US occupied parts of Japan for a while, like Okinawa and departed after so years. The japs were not prevented from militarizing, they just hand a change of heart, and channelled their resources and capability to good use. However Germany was subjugated and sort of monitored by the world powers, Japan still has the right and the means to develop nuclear weapons. They have a powerful military and they are equipped. They just don't have nuclear war systems. However, they have nuclear technology and they have mastered it.

Highbros: there is nothing you've mention that the andriod cannot do. Yes! It does everything and even more. Just try an andriod phone(I know you haven't used it) and see for yourself, your eyes will be open to see that your iphone is a WHITE ELEPHANT gadget. You'll begin to cos you've been scammed by apple.

IV actually used an android, not for long though. When u talk of user experience, u can't compare the iPhone or iOS to android. When u talk about user friendliness, the iphone is just over the top. From simple tasks to animation to thrill, the iOS has got it pretty much handled as though it understands the way we think and feel. For someone like me that easily gets bored, swiping the screen to move to the next screen page is not just enough, the feel of these movements, the handling scores high with me. That is how u know a strong brand. Swipe at the iOS screen and then android and compare.

As for functionality, I would just give u 2 of many remarkable experiences I got with the iPhone.

1. When I bought the iPhone, my bb was switched off. I was thinking of how I'd transfer my contact to the iPhone knowing that the brand won't allow any kind of collab with any other device. So I started setting up the phone. First thing I did was to feed in my apple ID, credit card details and email. Then I just casually put on my bb cos its been off for so long. Barely 10 minutes after I put on that bb, I realized that all my email contact, phone numbers, the whole shibang was available on my iPhone. 10 mins. No Bluetooth on, no sim switch, no infra red, no nothing. I almost fainted, I spent hours thinking about it, I thought someone might have hacked into my devices; until I remembered it could be via my email which I also had registered on my bb.

2. I was looking for a particular business woman i met at a trip to calabar. She is into branding and her coy is very good. I had her on my phone but I couldn't remember her name and I have over 400 names on my phone. So I tried to ftch mail exchanges we had almost a year ago but google had cleaned them all out. So I did a search for branding in my email and managed to get her coy name. I located her number on my phone but she was not reachable on that line. At that time, the iPhone was prompting me that it wanted to sync my Facebook contacts with my phone contacts. I agreed and after about 10 mins, I don't know how it did it, it showed me the picture of the lady and her real name of Facebook. It had matched the number and her coy name from my phone to what it found on Facebook and synced everything, and provided me a link to her Facebook profile. I never had this lady in my Facebook account, I never knew her name, I called her by her coy name. Now all the numbers and mail contact on my phone have a face attached with links to Facebook profiles, whether I knew them or not. How cool is that?

I can't tell it all here man, the experience with iOS and the iPhone is simply kick asss. It's just doing everything man, the only thing left for it to do is to wipe me clean when I take a dump. Guy forget, android is till coming. But here we r talking about the big boys.

If u really want to enjoy android, go for Samsung note 2, not SIII. If u really want to enjoy a phone, go for iPhone 5.

I've used an android tab ( samsung note 2), a blackberry smart phone ( blackberry curve 5 touch screen) and I just got an iphone. Nothing, NOTHING in this world is like an iPhone. Apple really sat down on each function or feature to perfect it. Unlike the bb, they just wanted to release a smartphone while they majored on sending emails as though that iis all we do with a smart phone. I've also used a HTC.

None can compare with the iphone. The experience, the handling, sending emails, browsing, notifications, scheduling appointments and reminders, handling phone book and contact, music, video, social sites, games, downloading apps and updating, .... Men, the only thing it cannot do is kill people. It even includes measures for retrieving ur phone if lost or stolen.

If only they could just stop being selfish and enable flash player and include USB ports.... It would be everything.

Anyway, i'd go for the S IV, just for the little left that apple did not include. The S IV will be my iPhone' personal assistant.

From what I have heard and learnt from this wonderful piece, Nigeria will not remain one country.

I love Nigeria and I loved it. I remember those days. But it's obvious Nigeria was never a dream. It was a set up for profit with the creators not minding the major differences between the people of the regions brought together to form this state. After many years, nothing has changed, the main tribes still believe they are superior over one another and they still carry the same sentiments of yester years. The Yorubas are still indifferent and are ready to follow anyone anywhere, the north still believe leadership is their right. The igbos still hurt. Politicians are still wrecking havoc on the nation and the misuse of public resources is still going on. An even worse new threat to unity has come, religious violence and the silent, strategic attempt to Islamize Nigeria. Worse still is, the split is in everyone' s mind, either consciously or subconsciously.

The only reason why this split hasn't taken place already is because Nigerians have become lazy and have also allowed themselves to be conditioned by fear and repression of the past years.

Sadly, that split which laziness has prevented these years will inevitably come, by the same laziness.

1. He skipped the full accounts of what led to the Western region riots.
2. He skipped the full accounts of the scenario of the 1st bloody coup that led to the 2nd bloody coup.
3. He seem to believe that someone in the Western Region betrayed the Eastern region peoples, although, he didn't explain how.
4. He failed to capture the rationale and dynamism of Nigeria's political instability.

Nevertheless, he did a good job with the footages. Those footages are rare archives. To my understanding, the main problem with Nigeria is that no ethnic nationality is willing to be dominated by another. Therefore, I think each nationality should be given their space to operate in a confederal system. I can't blame Ahmadu Bello for saying that statement; I believe he is right to some extent. Meanwhile, the time-frame of this video isn't enough to tell the story of Nigeria. But it's worth looking at...

Maybe u need to watch the video again. The publisher provided us with all there is to understand of the events and scenarios surrounding independence and its connection with Nigeria today. He majored on the the 'why', which is essential for everyone to understand where today's Nigeria has her roots.
