Well, truth is, I dont think Nigerians r afraid to die. To give ones' life is no small thing, its the ultimate sacrifice and the occassion better worth giving it. If I for eg want to make this kind of sacrifice, i would be loved to be remembered in history that i did this. The problem is, Nigerains forget easily and dont seem to care about history, or about their past heroes. Do we even remember the soilders maimed or killed in past wars, those who fought for our independece, etc. Whereas d US for eg. continually celebrate their heroes like Martin Luther king, Abraham Lincolcn and even their WWII veterans. I think we just need some re-culturing.
