Exactly.  But, man is not God and shouldn't be compared as such.  I am yet to meet a selfless man or woman. We have been genetically programmed to put ourselves first.  Love is a perfect example of what happens when we try to put others before ourselves: we start exhibiting stupidity.

Yes I understand. That's the reason I said people behave stupidly in the name of love.  Not because love is stupid.
Some people consider love to be stupid because it isn't entirely logical. To fall in love with someone isn't something you do logically.


If you still feel like doing stupid things for love you can come to my abode.

Jesus didn't love us for the want of a reward.  It was a selfless act of kindness.

So, then it's not love that is stupid.  It is the people who did stupid things.  

Love isn't replaceable with stupidity.  People will always try to find ways to justify their stupid acts by using love as a defense mechanism.

That's your opinion.  Love evokes feelings of happiness and anger, but how does that equal stupidity.  Love is not stupid.  Rather, it's a pain for those people who don't know how to harness it.
