krushdripper:I forgot to say this -always try to profread your posts before you upload - in my earlier reply to you. I mean no offence. It's just that when you post an article or reply filled with errors, it's particularly hard to read and makes it difficult for one to take you seriously. Africa is backwards because they use these powers to trouble eachother and spoil things for themselvesThen the onus is on you to tap into this power and do things differently. While you're at it, teleport into CBN headquarters and "borrow" some money to construct the roads in your village, or perhaps tap into that magic terrestrial power of yours and give us 24 hour electricity, seven days a week. These are just a couple of suggestions. No pressure! again a typical black man is lower in overall quality than a typical white manNow this my friend is flawed thinking. What makes a "typical" white man, better than a black man. Do they have two brains? Do they fly? Are they immune to diseases? I can go on and on and on. Change your mindset. voodoo? black magic? extraterrestial powers? all exist whether you get to believe it or not.I can say the same of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny or the Flying Spaghetti Monster but that doesn't make it true. Cheers! |
Martinez19:Death my brother. Death is why they hang on to this idea of god. They believe that after they die, there's a something for them after. The truth is I wouldn't have any problem with religion if all it teaches is that life continues after death but my problem with religion and their gods is the nuisance they pose to our daily endeavors. By trying to explain everything with their god, they're seriously holding us back and the world would be a much better place without their doctrines. |
krushdripper:Why then is Africa still so "backwards"?. I don't even have the strength to argue with you. Since these extraterrestrial forces are at your beck and call, please do not hesitate to use them and give yourself a functioning brain. |
Amberon11:Let me make a parallel comparison to your statement below: Let's say 2.2 billion people are insane and the few non religious Ines are sane. That's like having more mad people than sane ones. To you that's logical right.Buhari had a lot more Nigerians (including you I'm sure) voting for him at the last elections in 2015. Do the numbers make the decision a logically right one considering his age and health status? What we've seen in all our years as humans is that numbers do not necessarily make a decision or a belief correct. God was an idea used to explain the supposedly inexplicable issues humanity encountered in its infancy. Now we have grown and we know better. Why a bunch of god sympathizers remain intent on halting our progress just beats me ![]() Well atheism in itself is a delusion so try curing your ignorance first. This is the definition of "delusion": delusionAnd look! That italicized example applies to you lot... ![]() |

I was first introduced to science before spiritualityAre you saying you were born into an atheist family? Man is a spirit with a soul living in a body. You learnt this from science?? ![]() The confusion you confidently express here lies in trying to figure out "spiritual" issues with "mental" instruments ".Herein lies the problem. You've alluded to the fact that you studied "sciences" at a "prestigious" University in Africa but its obvious that you haven't really grasped what AUTHENTIC science is all about. What with your use of "spiritual" and all in the quote above. My point? Spirit and/or soul do(es) not exist? We have learnt from science that the only "instrument" we have that guides our thought process is the brain. So trying to rationalize your answers by playing the spirituality card is a no no! I'm sorry, but you're the one with the bloated arrogance-induced confusion. Again it's akin to a goat trying to explain man! Both are on different dimensions.A goat and a man are on the same dimension - they're both mammals. A goat sees and hears man hence, it can explain man in its own primitive way. Next time, work on your analogy. Cheers! |
krushdripper:Lol! Oh please.... |
branhampaul:Lmao... ![]() |
lalasticlala: “When I was rushed to a prayer house, I was told that my husband caused the sickness because he talks too much about our affairs in the public,’’ she said.Am I the only who saw this?!! |
tiger28:Your "intelligent" creator still creates humans with no limbs, two different human beings stuck together (siamese twins), humans born deaf, dumb, or both. Should I go on? |
Niflheim:Lol. That one still kills me each time I read it. |
Investnow2017:Oh so bible is now a language dictionary? There is nothing we won't hear from you lot. |
Amberon11:It is you who has mental disorder. The lol at the end of your post proves it. We (Atheists) don't bother with cursing your nonexistent god. We are only trying to snap you out of your delusion. |
Martinez19: I swear! |
Delusional lot ![]() Here are their most popular responses: Who are you to question God?Feel free to add yours. |
Just passing. ![]() This is how Christianity will exterminate itself. Indeed Religion is its own worst enemy. My enlightened brethren, lets all grab our popcorn, sit and watch Christianity destroy itself. Perhaps the real story behind the book of Revelations is not the destruction of the world, but that of Religion. ![]() |
You guys are very stupid! You just made watch fifty-five seconds of pointlessness. |
KingEbukasBlog:Ebuka, how do you find it so easy to tell blatant LIES on this platform. Does your spirituality not extend to social media? Or is it that you genuinely don't know that Deism and Theism are mutually exclusive. Which is it?? ![]() |
ambassagod You seem to have a lot of time in your hands, so I have a proposal. I didn't bother reading through the whole thread but what I can say is that hopefulLandlord isn't doing a good job debating you on this - no offence. So whenever you're free or you feel like it, I'd love to take up the challenge of disproving the existence of God, not that it matters anyway - seeing as scores of other sympathizers on Nairaland have been putting up irrefutable arguments almost on a daily basis. My quest is personal as I have noted through reading your posts that you're just a coward feeding off on triumph over intellectually weak minds. Besides its been a slow week at the office and what better way to pass time than to engage in a little God debate. I look forward to your reply. |
chrisav:But you've used your brain to validate the existence of God, who according to you cannot be invalidated through sound reasoning. You see your life ![]() |
Seducing spirit kwa?! You Christians never cease to amaze. ![]() |
Esdb3:I hope you've used the past two or so years to understand what Illuminati is really about. If not, I can help. ![]() |
Ngo40:I guess there's no use trying to convince your otherwise. Have a lovely day! |
Ngo40: ![]() |
Krystalzkris:Sorry love. |
Ngo40:Sorry but you're wrong. Morality is based on a simple principle or what you Christian folks know as the golden rule - Do good to others as you would like good to be done to you. Morality and religion are not the same and are not interchangeable! Hence in the absence of confounding variables, a person who is tired of his life is free to end it as long as he doesn't hurt anyone else in the process. |
I just want to add an experience of mine and why I hate the idea of Christianity and religion. I attend Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. I just finished my third year of Computer Science and will resume my final year by September. We usually have a ten day spiritual program termed "Week of Spiritual Emphasis", where we're forced to go for church services morning and evening for the duration of the program. During the last one held early this year, I heard a particular testimony that made me question where religious people usually keep their brain and consciences when in church. A young man aged twenty-one, came up to the stage and gave this testimony. I was in a bus, travelling from my home to Delta State. It was a 17-seater bus and it was fully occupied. During the journey, our driver tried to overtake a Luxurious bus without looking. He drove into oncoming traffic and our bus somersaulted and plummeted into a ditch. Out of the 17 people on that bus, I was the only survivor. Its God's miracle. Praise the Lord!A loud chorus of cheers I said out of the 17 people on that bus, I was the only survivor!! Praise the living God!!!An even louder chorus of cheers and a standing ovation. At this point, I was in tears. I just kept thinking of the SIXTEEN lives that were lost. I thought of the whole family that was wiped off in the crash. I thought of the father of five, the sole breadwinner of his family that lost his life in the crash. I thought of the little kids in this bus that didn't get a chance at life. My friend saw me and asked what the problem was. After I explained how heartless and selfish Christians could be, he sat down and has never step foot in another church again. My point, it is really sad when people lose their humanity in search of God. Its okay that you're happy at surviving an accident. But don't rub it in our faces, because for all you know, someone in the audience might have lost a friend or family in that crash. So I went up to the testifier after service and asked a simple question; If a member or members of your family had lost their lives in that accident, would you climb that stage and proclaim it a miracle? My question was met with a blank stare. |
Y'all should please ignore this SHALOM guy. Don't feed ammunition. He'll just keep coming back. |
Ngo40:To mention but a few Old Testament: Exodus 21:1-11; 25:39-55; Deuteronomy 15:12-18 New Testament: Even your beloved Jesus got in on the act, Luke 12:47-48 Ephesians 6:5-8; Colossians 3:22-4:1; Titus 2:9-10 Philemon 1:16 |
From a strictly moral point of view, suicide isn't a bad thing. If someone is tired of his/her life, I don't see the problem with ending it. |
shadeyinka:You just don't get it do you. In your illustration, your father is not the creator, neither is he omniscience. Hence, he doesn't know whether you'll over-speed with your Porsche, he can only hope. On the other-hand, god is presumably Omniscience, omnipresence and every other omni you can ascribe to him. Hence, prior to creation, he foresaw that man would eat the fruit from that tree and still went ahead to plant it in the garden. Later he turns around to punish us?! Bullocks!! ![]() |
Ngo40:As the bible is the "blueprint", we're all free to pick slaves of our choice. I pick you! |
FOLYKAZE:Post it first and worry about that later! |
