Hmmn . . .nice battle still.

Ibime, your lines were longer than usual this time, what happened? Seemed to me like you tried forcing the issue here cos I was even feeling your last warning shot to DBR even more.

Your verse was very witty though . . . got me laughing.

DBR, you just dey vex anyhow . . . .went straight to the point and attacked. I gbadun your opener but they were a couple of generic lines. I dont actually mind generic lines as long as they are worded differently and made unique which you did. It wasn't the best verse I've seen from you.

All in all, it was a good battle but I think I need to read the verses again to make a decision.

Eldee, wetin be scores now?

It depends on what you are wearing, where you are going and how you do it.
Some new jeans are even designed for sagging.

As long as it's not obscene in a way that is showing off your arse or dirty boxers . . . it's cool.
Just slightly below the waist is aite for me . . . it gives me breathing space cool cool

         MOBUTU: I WANT TO LEAVE
[/size]

In an astonishing new twist regarding the future of the Chamokazzie Gaylords manager - Mr Mobutu Sese Seko, there are rife speculations in all major newspapers today that he will not be signing a new contract when his current deal expire in January.

The manager shocked his Chairman and Chief Executive after the surprising defeat to Dudu Flames last night by telling them "I want out". Through further investigation, it seems the manager is looking for a bigger wage packet and transfer funds, insisting he could get a better deal elsewhere for a manager of his calibre.

"This club lacks ambition and I need fresh assurances that I will be given a huge transfer kitty come January to bolster my squad or I'm out. I also believe I deserve a new and improved contract offer. Have I transformed this team into a top team or what?, the table doesn't lie" says Mobutu.

An emergency meeting has been scheduled for Monday morning with the club owners to put the matter to bed once and for all. The club issued a statement few moments ago saying "The outcome of the meeting will be clear in the near future. In the meantime, fans are asked to be patient".

To be fair, the whole gun and knife shenanigans have actually died down recently unlike couple of years ago.
But it is still worrying that its still embedded in their blood and it sadly part of their culture now.

There is also the 'revenge factor'.
Nowadays, these young kids do not overlook any sort of disrespect or attack on them or close ones.
If you do something to one of theirs, whether friends or families . . . their first thought is to come back at you . . . when they do that, the other party retaliates and the cycle continues.

Actually, most of these kids actually had the best parenting but still ended up this way.
People blaming the parents? What can the parents do if the system do not allow them to raise their kids the way they want to.

nateevs:
The ambition he was talking was that of the future not of the past.
He saw the crop of players that won those trophies and he compares them with what they have now.
He must have grown up knowing and reading that Fergie has broken the British transfer record five times.
He can't see the will to do that any more.

He didn't need to go that far to negotiate for more money. . Also Fergie said earlier in the week that he was offered money to become the highest Utd player ever and he declined. Why did he when he could have jumped at the chance? He should have put pen to paper there and then if it all about money. Why did he refuse still?

Those questions remain unanswered. Some things have happened in the background that's not clear to all. We don't know if one of the conditions under which he signed was that there will be investments on the squad.

If you look deep, you will find out it wasn't all about money.
You have a point, but how can you really guarantee future success?
Money doesn't guarantee zilch!
Buying the biggest names doesn't also guarantee any future success. There are loads of major signing flops everywhere.

He wanted assurances? Are we going to steal the trophies where they are kept?
I can understand where he is coming from but wanting assurances to stay was my personal problem.
What makes him think he will win anything wherever he goes in the future . . . . as we do not know the future.

This whole "I wanted to leave" ish was from his advisors including the statement and all.
Do you think Rooney himself would have wanted to make that public all by himself?
I think he was adviced badly on the way he went about the situation by his greedy advisors who were only looking to get the best for themselves out of te whole situation.

YES

Some people think a player doing a gazillion step-overs automatically means he's a fantastic dribbler. . . Diaby doenst need step-overs to beat his man, he just does so without fuss. . .
Most of the best dribblers in this world are known to do step overs but that is not even the case.
Step overs or no step overs means zilch! it's the end product that counts.
You can do a million step overs but if you do not go past your man, you have not succeeded in dribbling.

Messi doesn't do step overs but we all know how he makes defenders dizzy. grin grin grin
The ease with which Johnson goes past his opponent is clear for everyone to see.
