A renewed clash between cultists in Benue state, has claimed one life. A suspected cultist was brutally killed by rival gang members yesterday night in Benue state.

It was gathered that the deceased was butchered during the attack and had his head smashed with a big stone around Ankpa quarters in Makurdi, the state capital.

According to reports, the corpse of the deceased is still at the spot where he was killed as efforts are being made to contact the police over the issue.

This is coming weeks after a young man was shot by gunmen suspected to be cultists inside a vehicle in Makurdi, Benue State capital.

Report has it that the man who allegedly mobilized thugs to molest and torture a lady over phone theft in a trending video, has been arrested.

According to barrister Jefferson Uwoghiren, the man was arrested yesterday evening, along with the manager of a hotel he lodged briefly in Benin City, Edo state.

The suspect was temporarily and amorously linked with the victim and subsequently complained of a missing phone. He collared the victim to a native “doctor”, around Ugbiyokho area of Ekehuan Road, Benin City, to determine the culpability of the victim.

The victim was instantaneously pronounced guilty and asked to produce the missing phone. Victim’s denial and protest fell on deaf ears.

The suspect, native “ doctor” and apprentice native “ doctors” pounced on the victim , beat her up, striped her naked, and procured granulated chilly pepper, popularly called “ Akpoko” in local language and inserted it into the victim’s private part, all dramatically caught on video.

According to reports, a massive manhunt is on native “ doctor” and his apprentices .

A Nigerian man's demise has left family, friends and colleagues heartbroken due to the tragic circumstance which allegedly saw him killed.

According to Ibomo Rafeal Seimiengha, the deceased identified as Enango Gelsthorpe Sege, from Amassoma community in Bayelsa state - was shot dead after his wife posted pictures of herself flaunting wads of cash on Facebook.

It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the deceased at his residence in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital and shot him dead, moments after the wife flaunted the money he was paid by a company.

It was not disclosed whether the deceased was robbed by the gunmen.

Facebook user and sister to the deceased, Ibomo Rafeal Seimiengha wrote;

I receive this shocking news yesterday. My brother was shot dead by an unknown armed robbers at his resident. This is as a result of his wife's negligence.

His wife posted on her Facebook account these bundles of money he was paid by his company. RIP Enango Gelsthorpe Sege

A man who hails from Abagana in Anambra state has begun a search for his father.

The Nigerian man identified as Marquise Mkpuechina who is based in New Jersey, USA, is looking for his father known as Daniel U. Mkpuechina, with the hope of reuniting with him.

According to him, his mother refused telling him who his father is as a kid and even as he's finally grown, she won't still tell him where or how to locate his father.

Marquise who said the issue has made him depressed and sad - wants to return home and trace his father. He wants to see his dad either dead or alive.

A young man was apprehended earlier today after reportedly stealing a female underwear in Lagos. 

It was gathered that the yet-to-be identified boy was nabbed after stealing a pant which is allegedly belongs to his sister - for suspicious reason best known to him. 

The young man who was suspected of stealing the pant - was forced to strip off his trouser after being caught by residents in Oshodi area of the state. 

The boy was later handed over to the police. 

This is happening after the Nigeria Police Force said it cannot investigate the stealing of pants for spiritual purposes because there is no evidence.

Three persons were allegedly feared dead while about 20 others sustained varying degrees of injuries as rival political thugs engaged each others in Effurun area of Warri in Delta state.

Witnesses said the bloody violence erupted between political thugs loyal to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and those loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was gathered that trouble started around Dumure area of Effurun on Wednesday when shots were heard fired in the area.

Situation became more tensive on Friday when violence broke out between the warring sides, leaving not less than three persons dead and some 20 more critically injured.

A resident said other miscreants had also taken advantage of the chaos in the area to carry out robberies and other criminal activities, further worsening the peace of the area and creating panic for residents and commuters.

There was pandemonium after political thugs disrupted the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign in Sagbama area in Bayelsa. 

It was gathered that one was killed and several others injured, after the thugs believed to have been sponsored by politicians invaded the venue of APC campaign in Tungabiri community, Sagbama local government area of the state.

The dead victim has been identified as Braye Embikoro.

The Nigerian Air force base in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, was today in a state of confusion when Mrs Irobuisi, wife of Air Commodore CC Irobuisi who is presently the deputy director of safety defence headquarters Abuja, attempted to murder one of the soldiers in Air force secondary school in the capital city.

According to reports, the airman flogged her daughter for an indiscipline act, after which one of the female civilian teacher gave the daughter phone to report to her mum who immediately drove to the school with a cutlass, while discussions were on going.

Mrs Irobuisi removed the cutlass she concealed and attempted to kill the airman, fortunately the airman survived the attack. He is presently responding to treatment at NAF reference hospital in Port-Harcourt.

It is alleged that Mrs Irobuisi has assaulted airmen and officers severally at different locations. She was suspended from Nigerian Air force Officers Wife Association few years back for slapping and biting an officer's wife.

It's a sad moment for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as an executive and leader of Ahoada West Legislative Council, Rt Hon Efcc Chiko has died.

The dogged supporter of Rivers governor, Nyesom Wike, was shot dead on Thursday, January 31 (yesterday) by unknown gunmen who attacked the convoy of Hon. Okpokiri Nwanaka Okpokiri, member representing Ahoada West Constituency.

They were attacked while returning from a PDP Campaign along the Emohua road.

Rt.Hon Efcc Chiko was shot dead in the head alongside other party faithfuls. Reports have it that some PDP members were also abducted by the gunmen.

Residents of Rivers state are calling on the state government to step up security along major highways across the state such as Ndele- Rumuekpe- Rumuji- Emohua- Port Harcourt road, which has become a den of robbers/kidnappers.

The latest attack is coming three days after some passengers travelling from Ughelli in Delta to Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital, were attacked and kidnapped by gunmen along Ndele axis of the East-West road in Rivers state.

Friends of colleagues of the Efcc Chiko have taken to social media to mourn his death.

A middle aged man identified as Boniface Abba fatally attacked a man with a knife in front of Human Rights Radio and Television, Kaura district in Abuja today Thursday 31st January, 2019.

It was gathered that the attacker who claims to be a painter and resides at Gosa, along airport road in Abuja said he came to Human Rights radio to lay complain.

However it was gathered that Boniface had been coming to Human rights radio for the past four days but because of his unruly manners security officials attached to human rights radio and television barred him from gaining access to the premises.

The attacker has been handed over to the police for further investigation.

Some armed hoodlums have been gunned down by a military task force after hours of gun battle in Cameroon.

According to information gathered online, the secessionist terrorists were linked to a Nigerian gang member alleged to be the leader of Cameroonian separatists group’.

The Nigerian gang leader identified as ‘General Obi’ was killed during a shootout in a raid conducted by Cameroonian task force at his hideout earlier this month.

The security operatives was said to have tracked down the suspects alleged to be commanders of the late General Obi before killing them in a shootout.

Various items including weapons were recovered from the gang members.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to reveal his heartbreak after finding out his parents hid his twin brother from him since childbirth. 

According to Emmanuel Rowland, he thought he was the only child of his parents before he was shocked to find out last year that he had a twin brother which was given to his father after birth (his parents are separated). 

The young man who reunited with his other half after 21 years - now calls him the best twin brother in the world.

Since 1997, I grew up with no siblings no sister no brother, she doesn't even knw how hard it was 4 me growing alone mum y....meanwhile I had 1 hidden from me chai. Nigerians are wicked oh GOD.

Last year 2018 August 8 I received a call from dad, tho we ain't close so we don't communicate due to mummy and daddy issues. 

We spoke 4 an hour explaining things to me how der got separate and how she took me and gave my brother to dad. this so sad that have lived without a broda not jst a brother a twin my twin. I wish they were in my shoes,der 4 knw say it wasn't easy.

I needed someone to be dere 4 me stand by me laf with me and joke/cry with me, BT thanks to GOD I went to Cali we did the introduction And now we the best twin bro in the world.

A man who single-handedly killed a huge python today in Bayelsa, couldn't be more proud of his "achievement".

According to reports, the man killed the big reptile in Otuan community in Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State.

Big eggs were recovered from its stomach after the python was butchered.

The man posed with the python after killing it as residents gathered at his abode to see for themselves and also 'congratulate him'.
