A mild drama ensued featuring a Nigerian cadet during a military training. The military student was very scared of jumping from a height during the training despite being aided with rope. 

In a trending video posted online, a superior can be heard telling him that nobody will push him and he must jump by himself because it's courage the military needs. 

The young man said he's courageous but his mind did not carry this particular jump. 

Despite all the advice, the cadet was still very afraid to jump.

While the drama was happening, his colleagues and other military officers mocked him heavily at the training ground. 

Finally, after an order was given, the cadet was pushed by other soldiers.

A suspected thief would have met his end at the hands of angry mob earlier today in Lagos. 

It was gathered that the man was apprehended while stealing at the popular Shoprite Mall in Apapa area of the state.

Report has it that the suspect was about to be lynched before he was rescued by policemen in the area.

However, the police presence did not prevent the crowd from beating and hitting the suspect whose clothe was already in the process of being removed for jungle justice.

The suspect was whisked away by the policemen.

This is quite unfortunate. A young girl decided to toe the line of her mother and got herself drunk in the process. 

According to multiple reports trending online, the secondary school student's mother is said to have been coming home drunk, not considering that her daughter was taking notice of her action. 

The young girl decided to get herself drunk too and was found by passersby who questioned her why she decided to do get wasted. 

She reportedly said she had to do what the mother has been doing because the mother is her role model!

Reports have it that a popular Hausa entertainer identified as Sani Aliyu Wawo but popularly known as “Malam buda mana littafi” was allegedly stabbed by his neighbor with a knife.

According to the victim who is currently recovering after the attack, he was stabbed multiple times on Thursday night while parking his car at his residence in Masaka area of Kofar Mazugal in Kano metropolis..

He alleged that a neighbour, Yusuf Sadiq stabbed him six times over the mistaken assumption that the entertainer was referring to Sadiq’s father in one of his popular songs.

“I was sitting in the car when a neighbour called Yusuf knocked on window. I thought he came to congratulate me for buying a new car. Instead he asked ‘do you recognize me? I’m Yusuf and I come to warn you for abusing my father’,” said the entertainer.

“He moved closer, brought a knife from his gown and stabbed me in the neck,” added Sanin Wawo.

“It was only after he stabbed me six times that I succeeded in breaking the knife. He therefore ran away and left me bleeding,” He asserted.

The entertainer said he was taken to hospital and the incident was reported to the Dala police station in Kano city.

A brain surgery has been successfully carried out at Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital in Kano.

The operation which is said to be the first of its kind - was conducted by a team of doctors at the hospital which was established early last year by governor Umar Ganduje's administration. 

In March 2018, governor Ganduje signed the state Ultra-Modern Specialist Hospitals Bill into Law.   

The law is specifically meant to propel activities of two clinics, Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital, Giginyu and Pediatric Hospital along Zoo Road in the metropolis. 

Signing the bill at the state executive council meeting, he assured that the operations and management of the hospitals would not be business as usual.

He said government would not allow industrial action in the two facilities insisting: “It will not go the way civil servants operate in other health facilities.

A heated fight broke out between two friends and laborers after an argument recently in the eastern part of Nigeria.

It was gathered that the laborers were working on a building site before being involved in an argument over money, according to reports.

The tensed argument later degenerated into a fight which saw them throw punches at themselves in public and even to the extent of tearing clothes and showing uncladness. 

While the clash was going on, other laborers who were present watched and allowed them to fight without any interference as they said anyone who injures himself will be wise.

Efforts are being made to locate the the person who forgot a large amount of money in a tricycle in Akwa Ibom state.

According to journalist Harrison Essien, the money was forgotten by a passenger in the tricycle popularly known "Keke Napep" which plied Itam Junction in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, during the festive season.

The money was recovered by the honest tricycle rider - is now being deposited in the Marketing Directorate of the Akwa Ibom Broadcasting corporation.

The owner of the money or members of the public who have knowledge of anyone, who lost a substantial amount of money are requested to come to AKBC Corporate Headquarters, 3, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, with adequate proof of ownership to get the same amount.

A man who says he's an atheist decided to show his disbelief in Christianity by burning a bible. According to him, he decided to burn his bible after being told there's power in it.

He also said that one week now after he burnt the Holy book, nothing has happened to him and his bank account balance keeps getting fatter.

Nigerians have revealed their displeasure with the shameless act, with many lambasting him for the move.

"Before now they will tell me there's power in the bible, after I burnt my bible they are now telling me my days are numbered as if they are going to live forever. Christians are one set of confused people confusing themselves the more with each passing day.

A man was found dead hanging from a tree in a case of apparent suicide. 

The deceased identified as Ifeanyi Ogbu from Iheakpu Obollo-Afor, Udenu local government area of Enugu state, reportedly committed suicide in the early hours of today. 

His corpse was found in the bush by a villager who raised an alarm and notified others. 

The reason for the alleged suicide act is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report. 

His corpse has been evacuated.

Delta is in the news again over the trending underwear theft going on in some parts of the state. According to fresh reports, two young boys were apprehended recently with at least ten female underwear in Umutu, Ukwuani local government area of the state.

It was gathered from sources that the last one they pulled - was from a young girl (pictured standing with them).

The suspects were paraded in public before they were handed over to the security operatives in the area.

Just few weeks ago, a man was apprehended while on an underwear stealing mission in Delta state.

The suspect was reportedly caught by local vigilante in Agbarha area of the state after he allegedly stole a bra and was looking for panties to steal to complete his mission.

A Nigerian lady was embarrassed by a young man after visiting him at his apartment. The lady was flogged and chased out of the house by the man just moments after he welcomed her. 

According to reports by the guy's friends, the lady left him when he had no money and he invited her to come over to his house now that things are going well for him - not knowing he planned to disgrace her.

The incident which was filmed on camera, saw the young man flogging the lady out of his house as his friends seriously mocked her.
