A woman who owns a prayer house and her co-worker were busted by some villagers after coming for a deliverance session with fetish items in Anambra.

It was gathered that the female native doctor came for special prayers at Isuofia town in Aguata Local Government Area of the state, with fetish items.

The villagers apprehended the woman and asked her what she came to do as she claimed she came for prayers at a family house in the area.

When her bag was searched, cowries, red candle, and other fetish items were found in her possession as the villagers questioned her on the kind of prayers she came to perform.

After much interrogation by the villagers, the woman admitted that she's a native doctor and also has a license for her practice.

The villagers warned her and the aide not to enter the village again under the guise of conducting spiritual deliverance.

There was a mild drama on board a plane between a Nigerian man and Ethiopian airline officials which caused flight delay. According to Facebook user James Singini, the incident allegedly occurred at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Malawi.

According to reports, the Nigerian who overstayed in the country - was just released from prison and had an expired flight ticket

It was gathered that the Nigerian man was allowed to pass through immigration at the airport and also allegedly overpowered the police at the entrance.

He was later confronted by the airline officials (about three of them) as they struggled to get him out of the plane.

The drama was filmed by another passenger as the Nigerian man can be heard shouting ‘help me’ before he was finally bundled out.

A pastor received mob action and was severely dealt with after being accused of sleeping with his church member's wives in Edo state.

According to reports, the young pastor of Army power ministry pastor in Benin city, the state capital, was apprehended by a son to one of his lovers. 

The pastor was partially stripped off his clothes as he was taken to an uncompleted building where he was beaten and confessed to sleeping with the man's mother. 

The pastor also narrated how and where he slept with the married woman in Benin.

Unknown gunmen have killed a policeman identified as Oisa Monday Ehigie. Late Monday was the police orderly to the Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha local government area, Dr. Eric Osayande.

He was shot dead on Saturday night at Nomayo Junction along Upper Sokponba road in Ikpoba-Okha local government. His killings might be connected to the on-going cult war in Bénin City in which several persons have been killed in different parts of the State.

State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosun, who confirmed the killing said he has visited family of the slain policeman.

He said efforts were on to arrest the killers.

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the commissioner said the slain officer was killed alongside two members of his cult group.

According to him, the slain policeman died while fighting on the side of his cult group against rival cult group.

“Three people were killed in the fight, the police officer and two others. “I have gone to see his family. It is a cult killing and the officer is a cultist,” the CP said.

There was pandemonium earlier today at a church in Abia state after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) went on rampage.

It was gathered that some politicians came into St. Mary Catholic Church at  Ariari Junction in Aba, to campaign ahead of the forthcoming elections in a few weeks time.

The pro-Biafran supporters became angry following the group's stand of no election in the east unless a referendum is conducted.

They chased away the politicians from the church as they began chanting and hailing IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu whom they called their saviour.

Some branded cars of the politicians were also destroyed in the course of the rampage.

This is coming just two months after there was chaos at Christ the King Cathedral, (CKC) in Aba, Abia state after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) vehemently opposed a prayer for peaceful election in 2019.

Another camp occupied by African migrants mostly Nigerians in Italy, has been uncovered following series of allegations of bad activities going on there. 

According to reports, the migrants are accused of selling illicit drugs and engaging in prostitution among other public vices. 

It was also earlier reported that Italian girls also engage in prostitution there with the Africans so they can get free drugs in return as they become slaves to the migrant drug dealers.

The African migrants are also alleged to be practising cultism and voodoo in the area as burnt items including mannequins were seen scattered all over the place.

A pregnant woman and her children were involved in a fatal accident said to have been caused by a reckless tipper driver in Anambra. 

According to reports, the tipper ran into the woman and her four children on a motorcycle on Thursday, 24th January 2019, along Igwe Orizu road in Nnewi, Anambra state and crushed them to death.

Two of the children were reportedly killed while the other two are said to be battling for their lives at the hospital. 

It was gathered that the tipper driver fled the scene immediately after the fatal accident. 

According to Rev'd Festus E. Chukwudiegwu, when a tipper driver kills someone, their Union will go to the police, settle the issue and then give the bereaved family 200,000 for the deceased and the next day, the vehicle is taken to work again by the same driver.

Residents are calling on the state government to do something about tipper drivers and enforce strict punishments for defaulters.

There was commotion after a Nigerian cleric was attacked and beaten by some residents recently.

According to reports, the White Garment church pastor who donned his priestly attire, was mobbed by an angry crowd for allegedly placing curses on innocent people.

This action sparked outrage among the crowd as some of them confronted the pastor and almost descended on him in a public brawl.

The aggrieved mob was later pacified by some officials who were at the scene.

Friends and acquaintances have taken to social media to mourn the demise of a Nigerian man simply identified as Joe who died recently in Italy. 

Wendy Bliz, a friend of the deceased revealed that Joe had been fighting for the custody of his daughter who was allegedly adopted by the Italian government by force. 

Wendy who didn't reveal the exact cause of the man's death, lamented and claimed that the deceased died while fighting for his daughter as she promised his child must go back home. 

Though the reason for the "forceful" adoption by the Italian government was not given, internet users have argued that in some European countries, children are taken away from their parents if the authorities feel they are not properly taken care of.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has left Israel and has arrived England where he is also a citizen. 

The pro-Biafran leader touched down this evening at Leeds Bradford Airport in England and is set to unite with his deputy, Uche Mefor in London for “further diplomatic movement aimed at Biafra referendum.”

 The British authorities last year briefed the Nigerian government about the temporary travel documents they were about to issue to Namdi Kanu, who holds a Nigeria-U.K dual citizenship. 

Nnamdi Kanu surfaced in Israel in October last year after almost a year his residence was raided by the military in Umuahia, Abia State. He was first sighted spotted praying at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

He also took pictures with other IPOB members who accompanied him for prayers.

A driver was crushed to death by his own truck after trying to avert what would have been a tragic accident in Edo state. 

According to reports, the ghastly accident took place earlier today in front of a hostel at Auchi polytechnic in Edo.

It was gathered that the fully loaded truck failed brake and as a result of that, the brave driver decided to use reverse in order to avoid hitting other smaller vehicles.

He succeeded in keeping everybody safe but at the time he wanted to jump out of the falling truck, it was to late as the truck fell on him which lead to his death.

The incident attracted a crowd of sympathizers who gathered at the accident scene.

The Nema Sokoto Operations Office has evacuated one woman and an underage boy who lost their lives at a presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto state. 

The woman lost her life after being knocked down by a moving vehicle along the road leading to the Giginya Memorial Stadium.

Officials of the agency stationed at the venue of the event immediately evacuated and rushed the woman to Sokoto Specialists Hospital who was later confirmed dead by medical personnel.

While the underage boy was said to have been fell and collapsed inside the stadium as a result of crowd..
